Aare-Bar in Wangen an der Aare

Enjoy the end of the day comfortably on your doorstep and directly on the Aare. With fine menus and one of the many wines or an Aare beer. Listen to live music and enjoy good times with friends. It's just a bit of a shame that it's not open longer in the evening.

Hygiene is a foreign word here, staff is unmotivated. It's a real shame about the beautiful location!

It is extremely comfortable. It is beautifully located on the Aare. The Aperol Spritz is very fine.

It's a good place to eat after a long time with a beer... little where I serve you a lot of customers... it's a shame it's not quicker... the surroundings are top... people and service... well... usable

Since they only accept cash, this is definitely not my favorite...

Beautiful Location on the Aare, great for chilling out and enjoying. There was a breath of fresh air thanks to friendly young people standing at the bar 👍Now the Aarebar has become a summer highlight ⛱️ We'd love to come back 🍹🙋‍♀️

By no means the most beautiful, cosy, harmonious, delicious and above all the most exquisite pop-up bar or pop-up restaurant in Oberaargau, located in idyllic Wangen an der Aare BE. The food is perfectly prepared, the drinks are superb!

Cozy bar/snack bar right on the Aare with shade and the best view of the old wooden bridge. Unfortunately, coffee was a bit too watery. But we'd love to come back for a beer... ;-)

Good food, friendly service, nice location

Great cozy location, cool location with casual live music. The staff is friendly and courteous. However, no or very few standard cocktails are available. There is a special cocktail menu with more special cocktails. Just a matter of taste ;-)

Location nice. Service unfriendly. Wangen has very well-run restaurants where guests receive friendly service. You can easily do without that.

I used to go there every now and then, but with the service, well, it's a thing, I never felt welcome there, I don't know if that's something for the better-off people? Now there are other nice places where I receive friendlier service.

Food, well, service very unpleasant. The employees make an effort and are also courteous. It's a shame, because the location is very cozy and right on the Aare. Never again.

Beautiful - right on the Aare. Pure holiday mood!

Practically the only bar/restaurant on the edge of the miser. Very well located, a stone's throw from the center, enough parking. Limited menu but very good for the prices. Simple service, you pay and collect when the bell rings. Organized and clean.. Very nice when there is Live music.

Very nice place. So relaxing and yet we don't come back. The waitress (the lady, maybe the boss) served us in a very unfriendly and abrupt manner. We don't need it because there are other Aare bistros!!
