Pleasant restaurant, not everyone could like it

Very friendly and courteous staff, the cordon bleu was excellent as was the beef fillet medallion. The wine and dessert were also great. Will definitely come back.

Very friendly and professional. This may make it a bit distant. The food (Cordon Bleu was super tasty) and a very good portion. I love it when there is bread with butter (one even had cranberries in it) as a starter. There were also small bites of cake with the coffee. It was really a very enjoyable experience.

It was really tasty, the plates were beautifully presented and the whole environment was very pleasant. We had a company event. The chef contacted us in a timely manner. The menu - was adjusted with a seasonal change and wine pairing was also suggested. We did not regret it. Even colleagues with allergies and intolerances had their own appropriate menu. Our entire crew was very satisfied. Everyone enjoyed it. It was a bit expensive, but quality comes at a price. 😉

This restaurant is incredibly great. The service is very competent and professional. The food is super delicious. There are good vegetarian alternatives. The dessert menu is great. The place looks a bit old-fashioned and stiff, but that is compensated for by the great rest. Company dinners can be organized.

Excellent food, friendly service staff in a great atmosphere. We had reserved for 5P and our customers had spontaneously declined the food, so unfortunately we were only 2P. With my greatest understanding of the boss's anger at this fact, I find it a shame and unprofessional to be greeted with a "Then God damn it, sit down at the big table anyway, I've already sent x guests away." Our personal conclusion, spontaneously but not recommended for a reservation that is not 100% watertight.

The Aarhof transferred me and my family and gave us incorrect information about take-away conditions. Even after the mistake was known, they didn't want to show any goodwill. You have enough guests in the evening and don't want to make any exceptions. It's a shame the food at the Aarhof, I won't miss the restaurant.

Monday October 18th, 2021 another date for a family celebration. The youngest is now of age. His wish was wild in the Aarhof. What we were served again by the Aarhof team was fantastic. Various soups from pumpkin, chestnuts to wild essence are simply delicious. Then the sliced ​​venison and the venison fillet with cognac sauce and everything that goes with it. Best quality, prepared to perfection and garnished with a lot of love. Plus a wine “Le Volte” from Ornellaia with a top price/performance ratio. An all-round successful birthday that we won't soon forget. Thank you

Today we had a delicious meal on the terrace of the Aarhof restaurant in Olten on a warm summer evening. Both the fish and the high sirloin steak were wonderful. The dessert variations topped it all off. It's great that the Aarhof is now open again on Saturdays!

Friendly service, food normal. At the beginning we had to wait a long time to be served, even though we made a reservation via the website two weeks in advance. I eat there 2-3 times a year and there are always new staff, probably apprentices, so I am served by apprentices. Furthermore, you didn't respond to my request for a little more french fries. Probably a posh restaurant, where there are no special requests from the guest or at least a subsequent inquiry as to whether I wanted a little more PF. The Wiener Schnitzel was a bit too salty. 70 CHF for a beer, veal Schni-Po-Sa and an iced coffee. Well, back then 20 years ago, when Thomas Rhiner was still cooking, it was better! The restaurant probably has its good name from the past and the silent customers are served faster than the less regular customers. But as life is, the only constant is change. Songs here are in the wrong direction
