A big thank you to the kitchen, service and boss's. The food was a poem, from antipasti to pasta to the main course and dessert. Everything was perfect, including the wine recommendations for the various dishes. We'll definitely be happy to come back. The only thing that was very annoying were guests who thought their dogs had to come with them everywhere! When I go to a restaurant like this, I want to enjoy the ambience and the food. What you certainly don't need is the yapping of dogs, as the owners of the dogs are unable to keep them quiet! The owner of the restaurant can't do anything about it, but the dog owners really don't know that a dog has NO business in a restaurant! Especially when 3 dogs think they have to whine or bark all the time! Again, it's not the host's fault, he's keeping a good attitude about the whole thing!

A little insider tip in the heart of the Langstrasse district that you would never have expected here (in this case, I am a regular at the Vegelateria, which is immediately adjacent on Müllerstrasse). We visited it today as part of the board trip of the Zurich District Medical Association ZüriMed - 14 doctors - and everyone was completely satisfied. I have to admit that I'm actually a vegan - among doctors who all like to indulge their carnal desires - I'm a bit of an outsider and rather picky when it comes to food. But the boss - even though our secretary had already prepared a menu for me in advance, which I didn't want because it contained grilled and fried things and I prefer to eat simple things like boiled potatoes with steamed vegetables and salad - mine Wishes were taken into account and the menu adapted. But I got an extra portion of boiled potatoes with the spinach, which were the accompaniments to the meat menu - everything I need for my happiness: genuine, simple dishes made from high-quality ingredients. However, the main portions were VERY clear, without a starter and dessert you won't get full, as you are used to in Italian... The dessert - the famous cake - was totally over-sweetened - covered with a thick layer of candied sugar like an apple of paradise at the fair - without this complete coating the dessert would have been perfect. Then the homemade chocolate-coconut pralines and cream for the caffeine-free cappuccino are a treat. What really annoyed me was the staff constantly jumping around you to add sips of water, putting things away here and mopping things there - but that's probably common in such fine restaurants - it just makes me nervous. Wir genossen einen Abend zu Viert und hatten tolle Vor- und Hauptspeisen, sie es Trüffel Tagliarini oder wunderbares Fleisch an hausgemachter Sauce mit frischen Pilzen und etwas Trüffel dazu. Auch die Weinkarte lässt sich sehen, ist sie jedoch wie bei allen alteingesessenen Lokalen der Stadt, ca 10-15% zu teuer. Uns gefiel der Abend erneut, ein Lokal das man gut und gerne jährlich besuchen kann aufgrund der Qualität. Weniger erfreulich war dass eine Vorspeise falsch gebracht wurde - sich nicht entschuldigt wurde (Kellner) sondern mehr das andere Gericht angepriesen. Sehr schade. Kaffee etc ging untypisch auch nicht aufs Haus. Einzig die Chefin hat unser Feedback am Ende des Abends sehr korrekt entgegengenommen und sich entschuldigt. Dies wäre Ihrem Personal besser gelungen um den Eindruck der Küche zu bestätigen.
