Al Pesce Azzurro in Bellinzona

Lunch for three, unfortunately the dishes were served to us at three different times. I justify the little girl's dish, which arrived immediately and I appreciated it, but I received the pizza when the other person was almost finished. The water was not poured or even uncorked... with the prices that the place has you notice certain little things, in the entrance of the place there are dirty plates and cutlery, some slices of bread were charred (but damn!!! I wonder who would eat bread like that? It's carcinogenic!!!) Overall too expensive, the pizza was good with quality ingredients, the seafood salad left something to be desired in particular as it was served cold from the fridge. The only positive note about the service was the person who took our orders (helpful and easygoing) the rest was horrible, several waitresses asking us the same things, they even asked us what we had ordered ahahaha!!! Too bad my expectations were different!

The fish is delicious! We had a great time and they recommended us very well! Special thanks to Veronica, kind and very nice! For a good fish meal I highly recommend it!

I had high expectations, I ordered the potato croquettes which I really liked. The pizzas were not super. The waiters were very kind but unfortunately the service was a sin, the beer arrived half an hour late with the food already finished (and I don't know why the answer talks about "full beers" since we only ordered one) and the fried food as the second course we had had to wait for it a long time after the first ones (having to get up and ask for it twice). Ps the children received the pizza and 10 minutes later our dishes arrived (already here... the food should arrive together for everyone...) but then two diners were missing who received their dish after a certain number of other minutes, so no , it didn't all come together. With a kind response (since I was polite in the review), I would even have come back to try again, since a less than perfect evening can happen, but after this response I know for sure that I won't be going back.

I don't like to speak badly about the food, unfortunately the pizza was terrible. Never eaten such mediocre pizza in my entire life. Exorbitant prices for both the menu and the wine list. Everything excellent and truly Neapolitan

A fantastic discovery, in the indecision of the choice between cuisine and pizzeria we opted for a Spaghettino alla Luciana and a pizza with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. Superlative, exceptional taste and unrivaled abundance in Ticino. The menu is extensive and we will be back soon to taste other offerings. Cheesecake with buffalo ricotta and fig jam, I tell you what to do. Highly recommended Alessandro conducted an impeccable service. Good job, everyone

Pretty small pizza, but good. Inedible fish. We ordered the mixed fish appetizer. The soup with sauce and fish was delicious, the prawns in the other dish were very hard. The fried fish was not chewable, I had to spit it out.

We went yesterday to try this pizzeria-restaurant and we were really satisfied. The prices of classic pizzas comply with Ticino prices with one difference: Here they know how to make pizza!!! The wait was just right! For the restaurant menu, however, we were immediately informed of the possible expectations so that this allowed us to easily direct ourselves towards the choice of pizzas. Environment to be reviewed, tables attached, limited parking in front. Good quality of food, despite the wait. Only frozen and pre-packaged desserts. Friendly service, but not very transparent, if you propose a change to a dish not indicated on the menu, it would be more honest to say how much the supplement is to pay. High prices considering being in a restaurant on the Sementina cantonal road, perhaps it was better to keep them as they were.

Nice simple and clean place, very friendly staff who make you feel at home and genuine cuisine, without frills, direct and of excellent quality. A stop worth the trip.

Spectacular Neapolitan restaurant in the heart of Ticino! We had dinner here for New Year's Eve, an occasion in which it is easy to run into scams, but instead we found high quality cuisine (both the fish and the pizzas!!) and decidedly honest prices!! Highly recommended!!!

I live in Sementina and since it opened I still hadn't been able to go. My friend and I wanted to try it two days ago and we were happy with the experience. As an appetizer we took the Luciana-style octopus and they were delicious, in fact we even ate all the sauce with bread because it was delicious. Afterwards we took the durum wheat calamarata with stracciatella, pistachio pesto and red prawn. My friend and I are crazy about this type of pasta. We had high expectations and it totally met our expectations! Just a delicacy. The only point was the service which took a long time to arrive (only the pasta) and then I would like to give some advice: as you can see in the photo the dish is quite large in fact the portions are gigantic even when you see the others and when you divide it into dishes always remain a little on the plate which then becomes cold. I would put something that can heat the plate while you are eating the portion placed on the plate. For the rest very kind staff!

Excellent restaurant with typical dishes of Naples. The pizza is delicious not to mention the fried fish and seafood salad. The desserts are a real delight. The freshest products come directly from Campania. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.

We had an excellent Neapolitan pizza for dinner one evening this week. Quick and courteous service. The lively and courteous lady manager also showed us everything we could taste. In particular fish specialities. Small place with minimal furnishings in Nspoletano style.

Discovered by chance by placing an order on the devoa.ch website which was not successful due to problems with their platform. In the end we decide to go and eat directly at the restaurant. We ordered two pizzas. The ingredients were very good and the dough well-leavened, the only flaw that we pointed out to the waiter was that it had escaped a bit of cooking, so they came out slightly toasted; we were offered to redo the pizzas, but as they were still good we didn't feel like sending them back. The staff were at all times of our visit extremely polite and friendly. We also had two desserts, a pistachio zuccotto and a lemon one, which we thought were exceptionally good.

We ate at this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. The first fundamental aspect to say is that there is a corner of the room designated for children and for those who have a family with small children, it is much appreciated. Very good food, including frying, but pasta and fish are the main ingredients, truly delicious. Normal service, friendly and helpful staff. Fair prices and clean place (including bathrooms). We had a good time, I'm curious to try the pizzas!

Went for a friend's birthday after a day of climbing in Bellinzona. The seasonal pizzas were just amazing. The service was great! They were kind enough to allow us to have the cake I baked for my friend after our meal. They served it to us with birthday candles.

New place for me to try. At first glance the environment is not very inviting...(for me) the arrangement of things, tables, furnishings in general are strange. But then the staff and the chef were very warm and cheerful! The service was quite precise and fast even though, on the menu there were dishes (at least 3) that if you chose them they then told you they didn't have them... very bad! “When you don't have something to offer you don't leave it on the menu, but at least put a note stating that the dish is not available”. Apart from this flaw, the dishes were good and plentiful. I complimented the chef on the really good Luciana-style octopus appetizer! Then the durum wheat calamarata pasta, stracciatella, pistachio pesto and red Mazzana prawns, in my opinion very rich but good. Very good dessert, buffalo ricotta cheesecake and white figs. At the end of the dinner I appreciated the atmosphere... a little noisy but friendly. At the end digestive offered much appreciated! Thank you. Food: 7.5/10 - restaurant 6.5/10 - service 7.5/10 I can go back😊🫶🏻

Al fish blue has become my usual place to get my weekly pizza Delicious pizza, very light and topped with top quality products. Equally important, in the restaurant you can feel a familiar and friendly atmosphere, typical of Southern Italian love. I finally managed to take a photo of the pizza without devouring it as soon as I opened the box!

Eaten well, served well. Nothing extraordinary, except - perhaps - the prices which, personally, I find a bit high for being in Sementina. From my point of view, it takes courage to have a 29 franc pizza on the menu, I understand that the ingredients make the difference... maybe it's no longer a pizza then... 😉 Nothing strange here either, it happens to me more and more often. On the other hand, the mixed fried food (the photo is a double portion) was good and enough.

Excellent restaurant with very nice owners, we ate an excellent octopus salad, a fresella and two mouth-watering pizzas Well seasoned, I would say the dough is more than excellent (real Neapolitan pizza) I can finally say that I have found a good restaurant in Sementina and the surrounding area I highly recommend it

The pizza is tasty and light, the kitchen offers delicious dishes and the portions are very generous. Returning from a trip to Locarno, we stopped with friends in this pizzeria which had already attracted our attention in the past few days. Delicious pizza with quality ingredients! Very friendly and welcoming staff. The owner was friendly and attentive to our every need, even to our (fulfilled) wish to end dinner with an excellent Italian coffee. Nice environment. Although I was skeptical about eating a pizza in Switzerland I must say that here I found a perfect Neapolitan pizza.....So for me it was a great pleasure, I also had the opportunity to chat with the owner who I must say was very friendly and above all kind!!! You are always ready to leave negative feedback when you feel bad but rarely do you do it when you feel good....! It therefore seems correct to me to leave my positive feedback also because I was told that it is a newly opened business so it is right to encourage it!!

Pizzas a little expensive and dough a little raw; the seasoning quite good. Abundant children's plate. Slow ordering and pretty poor service. With the cost of the pizzas (this is a restaurant in a discreet location, Sementina, not by the lake) an offered coffee or digestive would have been appreciated.

I recommend going once to try the place and then if you have the patience to wait a long time to receive your dishes go back, otherwise avoid it. The service is poor for the prices displayed on the menu, we sat down and a waitress came to ask us if we wanted an aperitif. Having ordered the aperitif, about 10 minutes later the owner arrived to ask us if we wanted an aperitif (evidently there had been no communication). Having resolved this misdeed, we are told that to receive a dish from the kitchen there is a minimum wait of 1 hour (which is unacceptable), so we decide to go for the pizzas. We are also told that some pizzas are not present (indicating this on the menu wouldn't be bad...). We receive the pizzas in about 30 minutes from the order (too slow from my point of view). They are good, it is sold as a classic Neapolitan pizza but the crust inside is very far from a Neapolitan pizza. In any case they are very good even though they cost more than any other restaurant in the area. Once the pizzas are finished, the waitress comes to ask us if we wanted dessert/coffee, to the answer no she insistently tries to make us change our mind by listing everything present. Shortly afterwards the landlady arrives to ask us if we wanted dessert/coffee/digestif, again in an insistent manner (it would be nice if they would go away if they didn't try to collect any more).

Pleasant surprise in this restaurant. Excellent quality of raw materials, kind service in a Neapolitan spirit. The house appetizer is highly recommended! The portions are generous and the flavors authentic. Clearly excellent quality comes at a price, but it's worth it!

Since I was there the first time, I only eat pizza here. Yesterday I tried the tartare, very good, I liked the fact that, instead of the usual boring toasted bread, there is bread made with pizza dough. Fabulous. When you enter, you know that you will find kindness, friendliness, cheerfulness but above all......good things....but have you tried the kinder bueno tiramisu? I was absolutely impressed by their seafood cuisine and their Neapolitan pizza. This place is truly a paradise for good food lovers! From the moment I entered, I was warmly welcomed by the restaurant staff. Their courtesy and professionalism made the experience even more pleasant. You can see that the staff love what they do and work hard to provide excellent service. Moving on to the food, I must say that I was amazed by the freshness and quality of the fish dishes. Each course was a riot of sea flavours, expertly prepared and elegantly presented. The fish was so fresh it looked like it had just been caught! Terrible service. Rude waitress. I came back convinced of the good impression of the first time (a month ago).. Instead I changed my mind. Timing between kitchen and pizzeria outside. I ordered two pizzas for my children and my husband and I two fish dishes. Bottom line, my kids ate after me and my husband. Nothing to say about the food.

My husband and I went for a nice dinner and we were both very happy😁 Amazing pizza with spectacular crust, I took the fish caught of the day and devoured it with great pleasure! Let me start by saying that in Ticino I'm not crazy about choosing fish, I love it when I'm at the seaside but when I come back I will definitely always get it again! Very good congratulations!!

If you are looking for the Neapolitan tradition in Ticino, I recommend the Pizzeria restaurant "Al Pesce Azzurro" in Sementina, stratospheric pizzas, SALSICCE E FRIARIELLI pizza, pizza with Bufala Dop and Prosc.di Parma, but the real surprise was a PACCHERO with snapper, Taggiasca olives and pine nuts a real delight 💯.. everything to be enjoyed in a clean, modern environment with friendly and nice staff. Nice food, very tasty. But they really took the meaning of SLOW food to the extreme. The waiting time is biblical.

Ok food, tasteful but terrible service. Totally in disarray; no organization; errors on orders, wrong timing (e.g. at the same table one course arrives and the other waits, waits and waits then it arrives wrong). They just opened, yes; let's trust them... sure... but at this rate they are digging their own grave. All these guys are anything but trained or competent on the subject.
