Everything about Albert & Frieda is great: the food, the ambience, the staff, the prices... The homemade cakes taste incredibly good, as do the à la carte dishes. On warm days it is wonderful to sit in the small garden and the staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Always happy to come back.

Amazing food with really friendly staff. We did not speak German but the waitress kindly took the effort to translate the entire menu. We enjoyed each dish fully, which clearly was made with quality ingredients and much skill. A perfect balance of flavour at a beautiful location not to be missed.

We work there with a lot of joy and great commitment. As a guest you can enjoy the result. The map is manageable but well balanced. Very cool furnishings and cozy atmosphere. We felt very comfortable both inside and outside. A reservation is recommended.

Qu’il était bien caché ce petit restaurant... tellement touchant avec sa terrasse herborisé... et l’intérieur est vraiment chouette : Sobre, classe, chaleureux. Le plats sont surprenant par leur naturel et d’horizons tellement différents. Pour ma part, le chevreuil fut un régal, le Cannonau top et le prix extraordinairement bas pour Bern. Le service est parfait. La responsable est douce mais connais si bien ses produits. Un bonheur caché au pied de la Fosse aux Ours Magnifique, je vai y retourner très rapidement ❤️

He estado viniendo aquí durante unos 6 años y me enamoré completamente del lugar. Si está buscando un lugar conmovedor y bellamente decorado para sentarse y leer su periódico o libro después de un excelente almuerzo o antes de lanzarse al río para darse un chapuzón en el verano: aquí está. Los propietarios y su equipo son como una familia y trabajan muy duro ya que la casa también es su hotel. Recomendaría este lugar a todos los que quisieran tener una experiencia bernesa, desde fantásticos ap ros con tesoros locales hasta luces románticas cuando oscurece.

Wir waren schon oft da und sind immer wieder positiv überrascht! Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, äusserst freundlicher Service, hervorragende Küche und ein enorm lauschiger kleiner Garten. Rundum empfehlenswert, gerade für Leute mit kleinerem Budget.

Wieso fühle ich mich wohl hier? Weil der Gastgeber einen wie einen guten Freund behandelt. Weil das Buffet kleine feine Höhenflüge für Augen wie Gaumen bereit hält. Weil das Lächeln des Personals natürlich ist. Weil die vorgeschlagenen Weine allesamt entdeckenswert sind. Weil man im Gartenrestaurant die Hektik des Alltags vergisst. Und weil alles stimmt hier.

Après une journée à flâner dans les rues de la vieille ville, nous sommes tombés par hasard sur cette petite terrasse accueillante, végétale et à la décoration plus qu’originale,Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et amicalement,Une carte originale et aux milles saveurs nous a été proposée Il y en a pour tous les goûts !On a commencé par une salade de tomates mozzarella et un feuilleté à la ricotta, et avons enchaîné avec des raviolis végétariens et des roulés « sri lankais »Un régal en tous points et relevés à souhaits !On s’est laissé tenté par une mousse à la mangue en dessert qui était très légère et parfaite pour terminer 0:)

Wir landeten eher zufällig im Landhaus. Aber der Garten ist wie Ferien, der Service super freundlich, das Essen echt ok und die Preise sehr fair. Der alkoholfreie Gin ist gewöhnungsbedürftig ;-) Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder.

Ein wunderbarer Ort mit sehr aufmerksamen und liebenswerten Gastgebern Kleiner und feiner Garten und auch im Innenraum lässt es sich gut verweilen

Ich bin öfters Mittags dort. Das Essen ist immer super gut, mit Liebe gekocht. Das Personal wahnsinnig freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Ist immer eine Freude, macht gute Laune und Satt. Zu fairen Preisen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Speisen sind unprätentiös aber gut, Getränke hervorragend (auch der silbergemachte Eistee) und die Atmosphäre ist schlicht traumhaft.

Assis dehors dans le patio du jardin. J'ai eu les boulettes de viande et la salade. Très copieux et délicieux. Excellent! Propriétaires charmants. Très amical!

Wir haben hier zweimal während unseres drei-tägigen Aufenthaltes im Hotel gegessen. Aber wenn Sie in der Altstadt sind, ist das nicht sehr weit weg. Entrees sind etwa 15 US-Dollar, was ein Schnäppchen für Schweizer Verhältnisse ist. Besonders genossen haben wir die Salate und Suppe (besonders die Linsen), aber auch ein Lammgericht und ein Nudelgericht. Wie andere schon erwähnt haben, ist das Tafelmenü auf Deutsch, aber normalerweise ist jemand da, um es grob zu übersetzen. Wenn Patrick da ist, sollten Sie ihn engagieren, denn er ist eine Freude. Es gibt Innensitzplätze und eine schöne Terrasse gegenüber der Aare, wenn das Wetter es zulässt.

Schönes Restaurant mit hübscher Terrasse direkt gegenüber der Berner Altstadt. Die Speisekarte ist (nicht überraschend) alles auf Deutsch, aber die Angestellten waren sehr geduldig und erklärten uns alles. Ich bin nicht sicher, was die Namen der Sachen waren, die wir am Ende waren, aber was wir hatten (Pasta mit Hackfleisch, Fleisch Gebäck, Ravioli und Käsekuchen mit Honig) war sehr gut. Unser Server hat die Reise wirklich gemacht, er war lustig und unglaublich hilfsbereit.

Ich habe dort übernachtet und nur gefrühstückt. Die Besitzer waren freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Es gab neben dem Büffet leckere Croissants zum Frühstück, der Cappucino war auch sehr zu empfehlen. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel, für einen Städtetrip sehr schön gelegen (direkt an der Aaare), ebenfalls mit guter Parkmöglichkeit (öffentlicher Parkplatz) direkt beim Hotel.Schon nach einer Übernachtung gehört das Haus zu meinen Favoriten.

Unten an der Aare beim Bärengraben betreibt das Hotel Landhaus ein kleines Café. Die Einrichtung ist hell und freundlich und die Bedienung zuvorkommend. Wir waren nur zu einem Kaffee dort, jedoch wurden wir wie Stammgäste behandelt. Ein Kleinod, das man unbedingt besuchen muss.
