It can be coffee or it can be tea, but more than that it was an amazing experience. I had both a flat white with a ‘funky’ bean mix and it was above and beyond. I had to come back to give the pour over a try! Again, it was above and beyond. The place and the atmosphere are quite unique, and Daniel, the owner and barista, made sure the experience was unique. I would go back every day if I could. Just as an FYI check the hours on the jusq’a brand instagram account.

It was a cool place, very into coffee. I do not drink caffeine so I asked for a matcha latte. It was only ok. My husband had a Colombian coffee latte which was done very neat. The barista seemed very passionate about his job.

The coffee jusq'a is centrally located on Brunngasse in Bern's old town. The store consists of two rooms separated by the building's stairwell. On the right is the owner who takes the orders - both take away and on site are possible (the coffees are then served to the table). There is seating in the left room (also outside). The owner is courteous, communicative and warm and gives you a good feeling from the first minute. Now to the most important thing, the coffee - extremely good coffee, if not one of the best in Bern!

Had one of the most amazing espressi there. Very welcoming and friendly owner, laid back athmosphere. Definitely a place for coffee lovers.

Everything was perfect, from the welcome, the decor, the friendliness of the staff and even to the Matcha we tasted.. 😍 My girlfriend is Asian (so she's very fussy about it) and she even admitted that it was “ the best Matcha " she'd ever had in her life. We’ll come again ❤️ A la prochaine !

This is really a unique place on the specialty coffees and teas’ map of Switzerland! Anybody who loves coffees and teas, or who just started exploring the topic will find a special taste for himself (you can count no the Owner’s recommendation too). You will see and taste that the Owner puts all his heart into preparation of each drink. I think with no exceptions. Danny is a Top Expert in what he does, now conveying more and more the mysteries of different tea blends… Moreover, the location of the shop and the vibes around are just fit for purpose! Jusq’a is located in the very heart of Bern, so if you are walking around the old town of Bern this is definitely a place to visit (at Kelsey for take away)! I went to Jusq’a with my parents and we all were truly amazed by the look of the shop, goods/ clothes designed by the Owner… and off course our coffees :) all of them make a consistent value, which is really difficult to find in other places. Don’t hesitate to explore the space as maybe you can find a good for yourself, to take a memory with you home :) Definitely I will come back when visiting Bern next time! Very good specialty coffee. But it's a little expensive... This may be due to the low capacity of the place which also gives it its charm. In any case I highly recommend for the quality of the products

For me by far Dr Kafi and Macha got the bear. Very central and yet quiet. On the day I escaped and enjoyed the finely fried beans and brewed them perfectly. Best coffee found in a three week trip around Europe. It's not too common to have places that offer different roasts, rarer still to be able to brew them to extract the unique flavours each roast can offer. Bloody good coffee, owner is a great bloke to have a chat to as well. If you see this and want good coffee, just go here.

A great coffee restaurant in Bern,,🩵The barista was so kind☺️ He recommended a cold brew, so I tried it and it was really delicious! It was nice to be able to choose between two types of iced Americano coffee beans>< The latte was also very savory.. they were all just delicious ㅠㅠ I said it all after we drank 5 cups together.... Came here because of the top ratings in Google and totally worth it! The cold brew is excellent and the lychee blend is exceptional🤩 not to mention the shop owner is sooo nice:) a huge PLUS to our trip and highly recommended

Wow, that's a hidden jem here! A very small space with nice coffees, a super friendly owner and drinks fitting all tastes - dark roasts, light, cold, hand brew and even a tasty (and eye rolling!) coffee-tea drinks. See the attached picture, after I couldn't stand and took the first sip!

Had an amazing pour over here. It was really unique: an SL28 varietal (which is typically a Kenyan varietal) grown in Columbia, processed naturally. Absolutely incredible: notes or raspberry and chocolate fudge. They have a fantastic selection of retail coffees. Friedhats, Obadiah, Balloons, and more. The owner works the bar and throws down gorgeous latte art in every drink. If you’re serious about coffee, this shop is well worth going out of your way for.

Very nice place to get great quality coffee and matcha drinks. The flat white was great and we tried the different coffee blends available. There is also ceremonial matcha latte that was fantastic.

We visited this coffee shop around 2 years ago and we keep thinking about it. Dozens of coffee shops around the world sampled, but jusq’a is king — the best of the best. Really well done to the team… coffee as good as any you can find in the entire world.

What a gem! We had to come back to this place for a second time in one day. The flat white from fermented coffee beans was a very unique cup of coffee I have not tested before with interesting fruity undertones. I'm not sure whether the guy serving us was the owner but nevertheless he was incredibly pleasant to talk to and clearly passionate about coffee. Highly recommend this little but stylish coffee shop!

Best Espresso so far! Wile in other Specialty Coffee places, coffee seams to be chosen to pleas the biggest possible new wave crowd. I often miss the surprising factor, the adventure of exploring new flavours. Not so at jusq'a, the extraction I got here was a pleasure in every possible way!

The barista offered us a wide range of beans for our simple “espresso shot” order. We decided to go for full funk, and had fermented beans from El Salvador. Such an experience! This place has heart and style, and my only wish is that they were open on the weekends too! 😝

Dany and Nina (I hope I got her name right), are such warm hosts, and their coffee and cookies are just exceptional. If I live in Bern, I'd be drinking my coffee here everyday.

The coffee is really nutty and strong! It tastes like the specialty coffee I had in Korea. If you ask the barista, he or she will recommend coffee beans and coffee according to your taste. It's difficult to drink acidic coffee in Switzerland, but here you can drink really delicious coffee👍

The espresso was excellent. Very likely the best espresso I have had in Switzerland. Daniel, the owner, made three different shots that were single dosed and perfectly extracted with incredible tasting notes for various light roasted coffee‘s. I will definitely be back! If you appreciate specialty coffee or third wave coffee and are in Byrne this is a must stop café.

Excellent place for delicious varieties of coffee and tea (a smokey oolong!) and even mixes thereof. Very competent and friendly staff. The location has sunny spots to sit on the outside. As a passionate matcha drinker, even though I was sceptical, I can highly recommend the sweet hulk, which is an ingenious blend of match latte and a shot of coffee. Start drinking where the coffee entered the cream and do not stir, it is a unique combination of flavours. The other thing we had was a coffee with activated carbon, which magically absorbs the coffee's bitterness and instead allows you to take all the other flavors better. To check it out, it is worth it if you are not hunting for a huge cup, but high-quality grade coffee/tea sipping excellence.

Thanks for lovely experiences. The coffee had a bit of acidity, and the owner was very friendly, so he asked me about the coffee I wanted and explained the menu in detail! The price is a bit expensive, but because Switzerland is so popular, I recommend it because it’s a cafe you’ll definitely want to visit again!

It’s on a quiet street of the historic center. The building where the café located is on UNESCO list. What a nice coffee I have had here.
