Today there were 6 of us and we ordered something warm and patisserie and also bought a bag of Christmas cookies. When we were finished and wanted to leave the restaurant, the bag broke and the Christmas cookies ended up on the floor. The floor was wet and dirty, we asked the seller if we could get a new bag and his answer was: no, it's not my problem if the bag broke. Very unfriendly seller and mega cheap material where the pastries were packaged. We said never again and will post it in 20 minutes.

Today shortly after 4:00 p.m. we wanted to treat ourselves to a small dessert. We ordered a "Bird's Näschtli" and an "Amaretti" to take away from the, let's say not particularly friendly but slightly bored service. You can see what we got in my photo. A waitress who cannot remember two orders is probably unacceptable in this day and age. It should also be noted that we had to throw away both pastries at home because they were dry and old. Also a way to sell old goods! For the service and your attention to customers, from us: 0 stars!!!!

I was in the area, and was looking for a place to stop and found this place! I was very pleased with the nice interior, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. And, Staff was extremely friendly! Coffee was great as well! This is definitely a place to try!

Always good buttergipfeli, and bread Quartier Brot is a tradition :-). I am sad that around 11 on Sunday the quantities doesn't follow the demand. Used to live in Paris where bakery are outstanding

After a hike at three restaurants in the Säuliamt we found ourselves either standing in front of closed doors or fully occupied garden restaurants. We enjoyed a fine coffee and something with the Z'Vieri was very tasty. 😋

a classic neighborhood pool, perfectly located. The curry canapé was very tasty. My companion ate a cream slice - it also tasted great. Everything looks freshly prepared, good service, friendly, everything is tip top. When the weather is nice you can sit outside - perfect. Less perfect - unfortunately a constant topic - the coffee. I only drink coffee from a fully automatic machine “in an emergency,” which is why I was happy to forgo coffee. My counterpart treated herself to a Café Creme - she wasn't very impressed. It's a shame, a neighborhood coffee shop like this, where the quality otherwise seems to be absolutely right, would underline your quality standards with good coffee and - I'm sure - could generate a lot of additional customers. By the way, the price for a double espresso of CHF 5.80 is very high - almost exorbitant for a fully automatic coffee machine. In Zurich's Seefeld, in a prime location, a double espresso (perfectly prepared) costs CHF 5.00 in a specialized coffee shop. I'm happy to tip and often round up to CHF 6 - a top coffee is worth it to me! >> If you think offering top coffee is more expensive or difficult - please contact me, I'll be happy to give you a tip. And no, I don't work in the coffee industry nor do I have any other use - I just like drinking good coffee :-) By the way: I realize that only 2 stars is a bit harsh. However, I have decided that I will give VA coffee a maximum of 3 stars. So 2 stars aren't so bad - otherwise it would have been 4. Addendum: I think it's very positive that people respond to reviews at all. Of course, it would be even more positive... yes, of course, but that doesn't happen overnight either. So feel free to increase it by one star again 🌟 🌟 🌟 :-)

New owner, on-site bakery changed to daily delivery from central bakery

Takeover by Albisbeck. Since then, worse quality. Less home-baked food. A lot is delivered. Knurzel have also disappeared from the range. Sandwiches now wrapped in plastic. Many of the previous saleswomen are gone. The bakery is used significantly less. Old recession: Always the best quality in the Franconian Valley and the friendliest salespeople!

They make a huge fuss with Covid-19 and contact tracing, but let their guests sit at tables that were soiled by their predecessors. Please pay attention to basic hygiene!

After switching to Albisbeck, the quality is no longer good, no more pure spelled peaks, the sandwiches are wrapped in plastic and no longer taste good at all and are no longer fresh, the same as many other products because they are no longer produced on site in the bakery The quality is reduced enormously. A bakery with a bakery that is no longer used, what a waste. Before the quality was excellent, one of the best bakeries in the city of Zurich has been lost, which is a shame.

A Beck with very good and diverse products

Hello everyone The products such as bread and all the cakes and desserts are simply super delicious. But the most important thing for us are the great employees like the branch manager Michèle Métraux and of course Anna and everyone who works there. Her friendly nature even in hectic times and her ability to cope with the heavy workload is exceptional. I wish that this would also be more appreciated by the management at GEWOBAG and that better consideration would be given to relieving the employees. We are regularly in Franconia and see how much the same employees have to do. I would be happy if the working conditions were as good as the products in the future. Super friendly service - fine croissants & breads & sweets & lunch menus. Cool interior & good selection of magazines. Perfect for a cafe / brunch / lunch or a business meeting. There is enough parking space in front of the bakery. Cool terrace with comfortable chairs. Free WLAN/Wifi.

This place is cool because they have their own on-site bakery, which one can watch through glass walls. Prices are fair and the staff is very nice. They are even okay with lingering/working, which is not the case in many other cafes in Zurich.

It's a shame that the Quartierbeck Frankental has to have its parking spaces "managed" by a security company with questionable compensation in the legal gray area.

Would be a nice coffee place. But for the second time at 9.20 a.m. no more butter croissants, and that in a bakery?..

My friend would take us here after a long night of skating or staying up watching horror movies or street parade or whatever teen shenanigans we had in store. Delicious breakfast but kind of expensive. Also really nice personal. Kinda sad the gang broke apart though.

You can get really good pastries here, the prices are high but the products are really worth it. In my opinion, the croissants/croissants are some of the best in and around Zurich. The bread is prepared in the in-house bakery and is always fresh and delicious.
