Alp Glaubenbielen in Giswil

Ideal resting place on a hiking tour with a great view from the terrace. Make your own cheese, which can be bought in the “simple” shop or in the farm shop. Is only open in summer and can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot from the nearest parking lot

From the Glaubebielen car park, 20 minutes on foot. The path leads over an unpaved road and is also easy to manage with a stroller. The Glaubebieler Alpgartenwirtschaft is open from May to October.

Very fine bratcha cheese. Simply baked on bread. For 9.50 Fr a very good price/enjoyment ratio. Plus a nice view. Just right at the end of a hike.

It's wonderful here if you can leave the prepared path on the Glaubebielenstrasse with snowshoes.

Easily accessible on foot from the parking lot. View is great. Unfortunately, I was not treated as kindly as my predecessors. Although I don't know what I did wrong. The landlady wasn't wearing a mask inside and was coughing. We decided to go shopping elsewhere due to lack of friendly and hygiene and left immediately after desert. What a pity...

Beautiful location, recommended cheese slices, gingerbread with cream, delicious cheese, great starting point for hiking. Were on August 1st there was folk music, alphorn and accordion
