Alpwirtschaft Zwacken in Oberiberg

November 23rd, service was completely out of place & non-existent, waited 3/4 hours for bratwurst fries (yes it was busy, sorry), ketchup & mayo packets were conjured up from the service boy's soiled trousers, mayo expired. To thank everyone, a colleague was able to find a hair in the fries. This is pure mass production and has nothing to do with gastronomy.

I love this place. Down-to-earth, no fancy Micki Züri...that's where you fill yourself up. Great friendly local staff and delicious food

Rather expensive - Fläschli Coke or Shorle for 5.- - rather expensive in self-service, like many mountain pubs in the region. Staff very friendly.

Greatly located alpine farm, with a unique view of the Mythen, Uri and Glarus Alps. Easily reachable in 20 minutes from the Ibergeregg pass. Courteous and very friendly service.

I am impressed. Such warm and natural hospitality with good cuisine. Child-friendly on top of that and what amazed me: I have rarely found such a beautiful toilet in an alpine hut! Can't wait for the next visit.

Went there today with great weather and a great view. Unfortunately, all children who ate barley soup got sick, had diarrhea, vomited.

The view is very nice up there, in the self-service Garden Restaurant😒 there were a lot of flies🪰🪰🪰 I've already lost my appetite. and where we asked for a sandwich at the buffet and got the answer with a very energetic undertone, "Sandwich hey to me," it showed me that I wouldn't leave a red black horse lying around here and I left this Lockal immediately. It's actually a shame, you could do a lot with this house.

We have been visiting Alp Zwäcken from time to time for a long time...for example, there used to be a wonderful nut salad with egg, good homemade, hearty soups and much more...now we were there and were looking forward to a wonderful barley soup...what was served to us was a bouillon with addition... it's a shame, because it's the little things that have to be convincing in gastronomy, then you want more... it was a broth with no taste... it's a shame... but you still have the wonderful view and a fine coffee with güx ….

Not intoxicating. At 12.30 there were no more Wienerli. The offer is very meager. The empty refrigerators and the freezer don't convey that you want to sell something. The Älpler chestnuts were bland and dry. The service boy would have to be trained on how to dress decently and cleanly.

Location and paorama unique. Easy to reach with a pleasant, easy walk from Ibergeregg in just over 1/2 hour on a path. It's a shame: the menu has been thinned out by the new owner. Just sausages and fries. Half an hour further on Holzegg, very appealing menu, quality and service.

Not enough tables outside, huge queue, no service at the table, small portions, no selection (hot dog, fries, Aelper) minimal Aelplermagrone (without everything), still CHF 16 50 (so quite expensive). At least friendly staff (that's the extra star)

Great location with fantastic views and good home-style food with friendly service. That was with Anagreth & Werni! Were in Zwäcken today on August 11th, 2021. I asked for a menu, but the innkeeper was stressed and said he didn't have time to deliver it (only about 20 guests!) and a service employee brought it to me later. The selection is very limited so we decided to leave the restaurant. It's a shame, we'll avoid Zwäck for the time being.

The new tenants haven't quite arrived yet, but they're very friendly! Give them some more time.

As we found out, there was a change of hosts on Alp Zwäcken a month ago, who are putting a lot of passion into it. The location is great, the alp can also be reached with a stroller, there is a natural playground on site with a fantastic view and good home-style food with friendly service.

Ich gebe das nur Okay. Das Umgebung ist gut und Aussicht auch. Aber das Weg für Wandern,musste ich suchen bis ich jemand nachfrage. Das ist nicht das Erste Mal. Andere Wegweiser stimmen auch nicht. Eine Bitte, unbedingt Wegweiser korrigieren! Danke.

Das ganze Jahr ein wunderschönes Ausflugsziel und sehr gut zu erreichen von der Ibergeregg aus. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang ist man mitten in der herrlichen Bergwelt und am Fusse der Mythen . Wunderschöne Alpwirtschaft mit herrlicher Sonnenterrasse und sehr feiner Küche. Ein grosses Lob an Annegret Schuler und Werni Ruhstaller dem Betreiber Paar dieser Alpwirtschaft im Sommer und im Winter.

Einfach und gut mit herzlicher Bedienung.

Wie immer sehr gut ! Und leider gegenwärtig auch wichtig: Hervorragend umgesetztes Schutzkonzept!

Wir haben von der Rothenflue eine Rundwanderung gemacht und sind in der Alpwirtschaft Zwäcken eingekehrt.Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre trotz COVID sehr angenehm. Auch hatten wir 4 Kinder dabei, welche sehr willkommen waren. Wir kommen gerne wieder und danken für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Wir waren auf kurzen Besuch in der Gartenwirtschaft für einen Dessert. Die als Spezialität gross angekündigte Muotataler Rahm- und Kirschtorte war eher fad und nicht sehr aromatisch. Der Kirsch ist vermutlich nur daneben gestanden... Kann nicht empfohlen werden. Für Selbstbedienung ist der Preis der Torte an der oberen Grenze.Mit Schrecken mussten wir feststellen, dass nirgens Desinfektionsmaterial vorhanden war und dass das Servicepersonal keine Hygienemasken getragen hat. Unverständich gegenüber den Vorgaben vom BAG. Wir werden diese Lokalität nicht mehr besuchen!
