Althus is my favourite bar and restaurant in Zug. Delicious food and an amazing selection of craft beers plus other drinks for the non beer drinkers. The service is always so friendly and the staff speak English and German which makes ordering a breeze. The ribs are my favourite and the sweet potato fries are hands down the best in Switzerland. Thanks Althus!

We LOVE coming here! You can tell immediately that a lot of heart and thought has been put into this place. The selection of drinks and food leaves no wish unfulfilled. Great atmosphere and awesome team! The location is fantastic. 15/10 would recommend.

Der Besuch heute Freitag war sehr ernüchternd. Die Bedienung für mich nicht wirklich kundenorientiert. An einem schönen Tag ist man nicht bereit die Gäste auf der Aussenfläche zügig zu bedienen. Es ist wichtiger die Tischreservationen vom Abend anzubringen, statt bei den sitzenden Gästen die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Immerhin sind wir um 15.30 Uhr dagewesen und die Reservationen sind um 19.30 Uhr aktuell. Ausserdem steht in der Karte, dass erst ab 16 Uhr Snacks bestellt werden können. Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dass es nach diesem Lockdown noch nicht genug Umsatzeinbussen gegeben hat. Man kann sich's leisten nicht parat zu sein. Traurig, aber wir sind ohne Getränk und Snacks wieder gegangen. Ich hätte mir mehr erhofft. Die Chance jetzt zu überzeugen und die Kunden zu binden definitiv verpasst.

We found this new restaurant on a rainy evening and came in for some shelter. It was a delightful surprise - the staff were friendly and welcoming and it had a relaxed atmosphere. To pass the time, we played some card games they have in a basket, and ended up spending the whole evening there. We had the weekly special and the ribs, which were great. We'll be returning.
