Negatives: • Despite the culinary highlight, the service was not at the same level. Some staff seemed inattentive and I had to refill my wine myself when my glass was empty. It would be desirable if the staff were more attentive and more attentive to guests' needs. • The reservation over the phone was disastrous. The staff were arrogant and claimed that there was no space available even though the restaurant was only half full. The online reservation, however, worked perfectly. • It was a bit disappointing that we even had to pay extra for sauces even though they were delicious. Conclusion: The Argentina Steakhouse in Uster offers an outstanding culinary experience that impresses above all with its first-class kitchen performance. Meat to the point, everything tastes delicious, recommended as a side dish to the corn gratin!

We are regular guests at the Argentina Steakhouse Uster. The food is always perfect, the desired cooking points are exactly met. The option to get steaks as a fitness plate is great. The meat has always been very good, nice pieces of good quality. Salad, vegetables and fries are also prepared just as deliciously. Dessert too, and the coffee is also tasty. Very good house wine (Salentein Malbec). There are parking spaces in front of the house, which can quickly be full in the evenings. The staff is great, very attentive and accommodating, even when the house is full. We will continue to visit Argentina in Uster regularly.

Good meat, a bit overpriced but good.

It is quite a place if you like something special. I could imagine that if the restaurant gets crowded the guests might need some patience, but if you love argentinian food it is worth it

Very tasty steaks good price performance ratio

I ate here at work or with friends. This time I ordered the Black Angus (150g each) with country fries. The meat was properly fried for my taste. The fries were seasoned with enough salt. Price range rather expensive. Meat 39.chf with side dish + 7chf. And another drink too. But quality is good. The service was neat, attentive and friendly. There's nothing wrong with the cleanliness either. The atmosphere is cozy. I will visit this restaurant again and would happily recommend it.

We went to the Steakhouse Argentina in Uster again last week and won't be coming back. The price/performance ratio is no longer right for us. Food: We came here to eat a piece of meat. For the Bife de Lomo 150g portion, the fillet tip was served. Due to the irregular shape of this end piece, it was completely cooked through to completely raw in places. Side salad was nothing special. Otherwise the quality of the meat was ok, all the other side dishes were mediocre. Service is nice, but not very attentive, for example sauces or bread were not refilled. Ambiance very simple without any big chic. Conclusion: If you come here, you should order a large piece of meat and not expect much more than to be served a good piece of meat. Then it fits. Anyone expecting ambience and all-round culinary enjoyment will be disappointed here.

The Argentina in Uster is an absolute delight for lovers of the Argentine atmosphere and exquisite meat dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The location of the restaurant also offers a great view. The meat here is always prepared to perfection and of the highest quality. The chef really knows his craft and the meat special, as shown in the picture, was simply incredible. A little tip: If the menu were occasionally expanded, we would certainly be guests even more often. Nevertheless, Argentina is a place we will definitely visit again. For us it is a must

Own All good, but medium and well done is a difference for me..

Great place with a fabulous view over the lake in the summer. Food was nice, well cooked as we ordered it, and nicely presented. Service was according to expectations. The atmosphere inside is a bit 'cold' but the food compensates. When we were there a "mariachi" played guitar and sang, and it was too loud and out of place, and we did not enjoy it, perhaps good to ask in case you also would like to enjoy food, company and conversation instead of live music.

The place was empty, when we arrived the only customers there were leaving, it was late.... The service was quite slow, in fact we had to leave without dessert or coffee due to the rush. The food was very normal...somewhat greasy...we didn't eat the battered onions and the chorido...very greasy Nice people....

We went for a walk on Sunday and wanted to have coffee and ice cream. We were sent away at 4:00 p.m Apparently they had something to do and prepare for an event. But there were other people drinking there and the person serving wasn't alone either! I'm not going again A pity

We are repeat customers and come here often, but this time we were disappointed. One fillet was expired and tasted sour. We objected to this and my wife received a Kafi Zwetschgenlutz. The coffee in it was almost non-existent and therefore didn't really taste good. It's a shame because of the good view!

Top meat, sauces and side dishes. Is worth every franc. Were there on a Tuesday evening. Terrace and restaurant half full. Service attentive and friendly. If the toilet were checked more often, the score would be 100/100. But for me that's no reason not to eat at Argentina anymore. It was just too good.

Perfect food with great service

Waiting for five quarters of an hour, even though there were only four people present besides us (10 people), is not possible. Food was good, meat didn't cook as expected. Price-performance ratio is not right. Consumed for CHF 700.00. The otherwise nice waiter didn't ask if everything was OK. In response to the criticism regarding the waiting time, he said laconically: “You just have to accept a half-hour waiting time”!

The best restaurant location in Uster but it's hard to put my finger on it. The food is OK, I just feel its too ordinary. If I was the chef I'd take a fresh look at the menu. Don't get me wrong, It's worth a visit if just for the amazing view but don't expect to be amazed with the flavour because you have most likely had it all before.

Bife de lomo comes exactly how you want it. Bleu is bleu, saignant is saignant.

Unfortunately disappointing. The food was of average quality at best with above average prices: the side dishes were greasy and bland. The meat was ok, unfortunately served with cheap and tasteless sauces. The service was very friendly, the ambience was very simple in relation to the prices and the dining room was very loud. We paid almost CHF 200 for two people, each with two courses and a glass of wine. Subpar food cannot be offered for such a price.

We ate at this restaurant twice. Once in the room at the end of the stairs and we ate very well. The second time with friends. After this good experience we went again with our family and ate on the outside terrace. This 2nd experience was disastrous and a priori we will never go there again. It was the same day as a wedding dinner, which perhaps explains why the service was so poor. Some details: - Wait and wait again to be served. - Asking for the same thing multiple times (repeating) and waiters forgetting. - Tomato and mozzarella salad with 4 slices of tomato and 2 slices of mozzarella. For the price of a gourmet restaurant. - A poor quality dessert with very little goods. - A plate of cold cuts that you would easily find in a university cafeteria. - etc... - And unfortunately exorbitant prices compared to the food received. In short, a very bad second experience. And that was for our oldest son's birthday! So sometimes very good and sometimes catastrophic. We won't be trying again anytime soon. It's up to you to have your own experiences and share your feedback.

Waiting time of more than 1 1/2 hours is definitely too long, the cooking levels ordered were completely wrong for all 4 people. (note photo, medium was ordered) this meat could easily be sold as boiled meat. Potato wedges over salted and still hard. Very, very bad... the location would be awesome but unfortunately the rest doesn't fit. Once and never again!!

We spontaneously went to the steakhouse one evening in May (weekdays) and luckily we got a table for two people. I think it would be an advantage to reserve at least on the weekend... If there's one thing a steakhouse has to be able to do, it's sear a piece of meat to the desired point. Unfortunately, they can't manage that and it significantly spoils the experience. Ordered 2 pieces medium rare and received medium+ (hardly pink anymore). The mini portion of country fries that was available for an additional charge (you could grab the whole portion with three fingers) wasn't worth a plus point either. The service is very friendly and attentive, even if drink orders sometimes had to be repeated. The food is otherwise excellent, but these points desperately need improvement.

We were 6 with children and so to be simple we all agreed that the service and food quality were excellent. We all had starters, main dishes, summer cart menu, kids menu, desserts, etc. and everything was just superb. Not that expensive comparing to other restaurants which we also gave 5 stars. This one in Uster the service is better, very friendlyness, and we had also ordered much more food and it was meat (which costs more), perfect view, they offer that pre-starter (bread with sauces, before we actually ordered the starters), so yeah go and try. What are you waiting for?

The food is very good. Price is rather high, but still OK. Great location. Very good view. Extremely inefficient and inattentive service, outside on the gravel lot. We were there on May 29th in the early evening. We always waited a long time until we were served. Because we didn't feel like waiting anymore, we decided not to have dessert.

After waiting for over 30 minutes without being served, we left again. A pity.

This star is for the rudeness of the waiters this evening... the kitchen closes at 9pm... 2 of us arrived at 8.25pm ​​without a reservation... There were both free tables and still other people. Our children 15,17,20 love Argentina Steak House, we always enjoyed going to the restaurant as we love meat. On our last visit 2 weeks ago, I took my family over for lunch to celebrate my birthday. We have apua in our flesh ordered it didn't come so it was raw in the middle. Me and my son put the meat on the grill again, the meat came back, it certainly didn't end up on the grill again but in the microwave or somewhere else???? I put the meat in my mouth and felt so sick that I almost had to spit out. I felt really sick and lost all enjoyment and appetite. The waiter tried to give me a stressful situation, lots of steaks on the grill blablabla... I grew up in the catering industry myself and was a host for 30 years. It's a shame that employees forget that customers pay their wages and try to sell them stupidly.

Highly recommended! The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was authentic. We really enjoyed surf and turf and the wine recommendation was perfect. Prices reasonable. We will be back.
