Best restaurant in Nyon region. Super nice service and wine to dream about. Malakoff's menu is absolutely amazing. Greetings again to the host and the kitchen.

Our greatest discovery! For us, these are without a doubt the best malakoffs in the canton! Everything is a delight, both the sugar loaf salad and the dried meat. Excellent dessert also recently offered: Fresh oranges with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and orange zest, ideal for digestion. The service is always top notch and the manager very friendly and helpful. Recommending us 200%.

How can you not love this restaurant? The food was delicious 10/10 and yet I tried to find faults but impossible. It was the first time I set foot there and it won't be the last because from the starter to the main course to the dessert everything was good But I especially wanted to thank the waiter Donato who took very good care of us during the evening thank you 💪 The 5 young people of the evening of March 16 🫡

I would like to make a remark which I hope will be heard by the owner of this establishment, we went to eat on Saturday February 3 in the evening. We witnessed an unacceptable scene from a waiter towards one of these colleagues, insults and shouts erupted, there was a lack of respect and the show on the part of the waiter should have been stopped by the owner of the establishment who was physically present but morally absent, too bad.

If you like malakoffs try it it's worth the detour and in summer on the terrace it's great too but you have to book before otherwise you will be disappointed not to be able to be received

Good evening We have just left the restaurant, because I wanted to introduce my friends to the Malakoffs. When we arrived, we were received by a frustrated waiter, because he was arguing with a colleague, so the atmosphere was tense all evening in the room. The service was OK with a few forgotten orders (drinks). What prompted me to write a comment is that when paying, the waiter rounded the amount to be paid for each person by an additional 5 cents, without telling us. On several occasions, I pointed out to him that the amount displayed on the machine was wrong, but in vain, he decided to round up each time. First attempt the machine bug, second attempt he asks how much it is per person (see the photo on the receipt) and the machine bug last attempt he brings another machine and puts the amount of 38.60 instead of 38.55). I'm not close to 5 cents, but the waiter's attitude was really not correct or even disloyal (theft). I wish you a very nice evening and I will get in touch so that you have read the comment carefully.

Fantastic server Donato. Very nice to him and the others. Top service. Good food and good daily menu option. Recommended. You just have to wear unimportant clothes because afterwards they smell like cheese.

A great discovery 🩷, a warm inn, a very pleasant and friendly welcome, family and super friendly cuisine! A delight for the palate, I highly recommend this address and hope to have the opportunity to come back!

Nice atmosphere but annoying waiter and overpriced prices, especially the homemade desserts. Avoid Saturday evenings when the service is overwhelmed! (For the servers, it's the kitchen that doesn't keep up). The salad arrives after the malakoffs, and 10 minutes later the fries that we ordered. Overpriced on the gourmet menu at 52.- with an overcooked filet mignon and in light quantity and including dessert (canned orange wedges, 2 mini scoops of ice cream and Grand Marnier which we are still looking for at 11.50 at the card!) is a pure scam! Ditto for the lemon tartlet for 9.- which you would swear came from Migros or Coop.

Great servers. Amazing food. It was soo good that I ate until I couldn't anymore. I had a special request with my order and they delivered perfectly. I had the steak tartare and they brought a sample to see if the spicyness were to my liking. They also had a wine selection from the local vinyards. I would definately go again.

Relaxed atmosphere in a large, packed room... on weekends it is better to reserve. Despite the attentive service, the malakoff and other dishes were delicious.

Excellent food but you really need to put your dish of the day on the first page of your website or Facebook (it takes 30 seconds!). The server is a bit strange.

I only go there for the malakoffs, which are very good. The salad goes well with it and is really delicious. From my experience, the other dishes are not bad but can be served really out of sync, which is really not pleasant for eating in a group. The real fault is the service which often shows a blatant lack of sympathy, or which allows itself too many liberties. In particular, we had very limited behavior towards a young woman at the table, based on "my pretty", physical contact and other disgusting behavior which has no place anywhere, even less coming from a waiter.

Based on the website and the reviews, we were looking forward to a gourmet menu. The menus are average village kitchen meals that don't justify the price and also seem to be made with a lot of semi-finished products, not entirely by hand. (E.g. cake bases, cream, etc.) Food was also very salty and heavy. Exception: starter charcuterie and wine is local and excellent! The staff was friendly, but they didn't manage to serve our courses at the same time despite the restaurant being poorly attended. One person was already finished by the time the other's food came, and for me even the starter came in parts.

So I only gave it 4 stars. The malakofs were perfect, but the big disappointment was with the lemon tart. Already the color wasn't there and neither was the taste. After speaking with the staff, the response was that customers would perhaps not be "excited" by the overly strong lemon taste. If you order a strawberry tart you still expect to have the taste and color of strawberries, the same with a lemon tart. Otherwise the setting, the terrace and the cuisine are very good. I recommend (ask to see the lemon tart before ordering it :-))

The malakoffs are indeed good, but the service is disastrous: frank, arrogant and rude. The evening which should have been pleasant with an (excellent) winemaker from the region was spoiled by this substandard service. The world, there certainly was, was not the excuse for that evening. Hiring staff may be difficult for restaurateurs, but there was a big casting error here. To be corrected quickly.

I ate there with my parents and grandparents, everything is always perfect and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

Excellent place for a dinner with friends or family. The staff was very knowledgable for my Glutenfree Diet. Every thing was adjusted to my needs. The Malakoffs Cheese Balls were delicious, the trout with lemon beurre sauce fantastic and the Lemon pie, without cookie but with whipped cream were made in heaven. A bit pricey, but hey, this is Switzerland.

The Begnins charcuterie saves the honor, but we came for your Malakoff No need to tell us to look elsewhere, we won't come back!

We ate on a Tuesday, without prior reservation and no worries. We were well received. The house menu is correct and well served. The malakofs are good. The waitress is pleasant. I will come back to taste something else.

Very good restaurant to eat Malakoff. The all-you-can-eat Malakoff menu is great but could have an accompanying salad with more variety. The presentation of the dishes could be improved. Particularly for the Vaudois Popet. The leek ladle with its sausage, a little inert. The taste of the dish is very tasty, but deserves a little touch on the presentation. The welcome is great and there is always someone to serve you. Don't wait too long if you go early. The desert lemon tartlet is very good. The creamy cream with a nice touch of lemon without being too acidic. Just right.

So as soon as we walked through the door, the waiter, who may be the manager, annoyed us. He was going out to have a smoke. And was pretty upset that we were coming. Throughout dinner he was witty. Believing he was the king of the world. Saying his salad dressing was exquisite and for me too acidic. After 2 bites I had to go to the toilet. Malakoff at will, after the 2nd we didn't want it anymore. We told him and he brought a third one for my boyfriend, so we shared it. He also sold his lemon tartlet. In a tone. Well she was good. But I like to form my own opinion. So for me restaurant to forget. I also like to have peace when I dine out. He would have done better to clean his coffee pot which was crumbling with dust on his back...

The setting of the restaurant is traditional and offers a fairly large number of seats which were full on the evening of our visit. However, the service was not slowed down. The specialty is Malakoff which is available in several formulas. Having opted for the filet mignon with morels, I was not disappointed. They were very well served. There's not much negative other than the fact that the number of people present made the room a little lively. A good discovery to recommend.

Be careful, the customer is not king. If you dare to complain you will be sent back where you came from with the insults that go with it. The boss(es) are poorly behaved. Only open your mouth to swallow if the reception is not important to you.

The site indicates closing at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and we stopped by at 2:00 p.m. to eat malakofs. However, the waiter told us that the kitchen closed at 2 p.m. Not very commercial. Fortunately, the restaurant in the heart of the Côte à Vinzel serves malakofs at any time of the day

A casual restaurant with service that might seem familiar. The atmosphere is good-natured and relaxed. The rooms and the cutlery are a little dated. It's not the best malakofs but they're still decent. Some may be more or less floury depending on the batch. The all-you-can-eat formula is good but don’t be in a hurry. The salad dressing is excellent.
