Absolutely recommended! Very nicely furnished guest room where you feel very “homey”. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and professional. You feel very well looked after. The food will definitely fill you up and no one goes home hungry because the portions are very generous. A real culinary delight in terms of taste.

Fine food and great views. The short walk from the PP to the restaurant is very pleasant. On this day, a slightly longer waiting time was to be expected due to the lack of staff. Otherwise everything was tip top.

A little difficult to find according to Google Maps...(PPs) is a bit of a walk. If you don't like walking well, you can call and ask about a PP and then you can drive up. Very good. Delicious meal. Nice to walk. Extremely likeable. We recommend.

The food was good but too expensive! With so many reservations on Good Friday, there were simply not enough employees. We had to take the bill apart ourselves, even though we said we wanted to pay separately!! It's a shame but we won't be coming anymore

First of all, the food was good! Special day, lots of reservations, I would provide more staff. Orders were lost, and the attention of the staff became less and less as the food was ordered... good food also has its price elsewhere, but this is accepted with good service.

I took part in the torchlight hike yesterday. Really a great idea for the cold days. I was completely satisfied and can only recommend it. Great team… gladly again at any time!

We were in this beautiful place with 8 people and had a torchlight hike. Good mood. There was mulled wine to accompany the campfire. Afterwards we had fondue, which we enjoyed very much. Friendly, attentive service. On the way home we were given a torch, which certainly lit our way. All in all, we would love to come back.

Torchlight hike for 85fr per person. Have 30 Fr. more per person with wine. None of the surcharges (except for the 2 drinks at the table) were communicated. The broth at the end of the fondue chineoase was skilfully left out, the dessert was dismissed with "sorry, I'm alone, the boss is already home, there's no real dessert anymore." The torchlight hike back was very dark because there were no more torches... it was a nice evening, but we felt ripped off thanks to poor communication.

We were there at lunchtime on August 11th, 2022 and had a great meal. The menu and therefore the selection is very well put together. The menu suggestions as well. Price performance absolutely OK. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the service was served very quickly. Last but not least, of course, the restaurant has a beautiful location with a great view over the vineyards and the Appenzell panorama. The location is highly recommended and is worth a visit at any time. We will come back. Thank you very much.

A very special place to stay. A path that you absolutely have to take leads over the vineyards through shady oak forests to your destination. During the walk you will be rewarded with views over Lake Constance, as far as Germany, Austria and the Appenzell Vorderland. You get to the “stony” with ; -spoiled us with delicious sweets. The menu is also recommended. So we spent an unforgettable afternoon with “exercise”.

The renovation and change of tenant were worth it! Been there again for a while and was curious to see what it would be like. The view of Lake Constance hardly needs to be emphasized, it is too well known and appreciated. The restaurant invites visitors with a fresh ambience. You feel pleasantly comfortable both outside and inside. And - last but not least - the tenant Daniela is worthy of special recognition: friendly, committed, flexible and quick to respond, she serves the guests and leaves nothing to be desired. And the beef fillet was of a class of its own, which - I confess - I did not expect. Gladly again!

A fantastic place to unwind. And the way there (only possible on foot or by bike) leads past an idyllic castle with a constant, priceless view over Lake Constance. The inn there invites you to relax and enjoy.

Service is soooo. 4 ice cream cups ordered, 2 wrong ones brought...neighbor table complained about the food.....guests left because the waiting time was too long.. The restaurant wasn't very busy. It's a shame

If you were a drone... You would actually have a fantastic view of Lake Constance here if the trees hadn't grown so high. Still worth a trip, the vineyard alone is fantastic. And who isn't proud of having managed to climb the many steps (if you climb from this side). The offer was quite limited - probably because of the Covid19 measures - which is a shame. I still give it four stars!

The most beautiful place and location where you can pamper yourself with good coffee and homemade cakes. The menu is mega and fine and very tasty. The mountains and lake views are enchanting. But none of this would be possible without charming owners like Ms. Bruger and her partner Edi.

I know the rest. It was remodeled in the old style, it's very nice, it's bright, the view is fantastic from all sides, the food from the menu can be arranged as you like, it's beautifully presented and the staff are very nice. A top recommendation and a nice place to visit

On today's holiday we were surprised that the restaurant was open. That's why we spontaneously interrupted our hike to grab something to eat. We ordered a small salad and a vegetable omelette. We waited 1 1/2 hours for this, which really pushed us to our limits because we wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather on a hike. Unfortunately, the quality of the food couldn't make up for the long wait. Although the service was nice and apologized for the long wait, we would have been very happy with a small gesture of compensation. It's a shame that we can't recommend the restaurant after today.

We were briefly in this restaurant this lunchtime. It was recommended to us because of the good view and we read the reviews online about the good food. We were in the restaurant for about 5 minutes, the windows were all full of cobwebs and flies, there were also spiders in the restaurant (unfortunately not as Halloween decoration but really dirt) The sight lost our appetite. There was also everything lying around on the tables, notebooks, pens, laptop rails for the arm, etc. Well, the nice staff and the good view didn't help either.....
