I was visiting with a group of children out of season on the fairly empty terrace and treated them to what I thought was very expensive mineral water. After asking the staff, some of them ate a snack they had brought with them, but about half also ordered food (frites, etc.). What was ok for the staff obviously didn't suit the boss: the fact that we would bring sales to the empty terrace with the drinks was ok, but he would rather generate sales with drinks AND (no less expensive) food from ALL the children. Which he will no longer do with us in either case.

Terrible experience two days running. Crazy prices for the worst food. Very long wait for our food (45 mins) and they weren’t busy and seemed to have lots of staff. We were told our outrageously priced burgers (27 francs) would be increased to 30 francs if we have the lettuce removed for our kids! They didn’t even look freshly cooked. One daughter asked for no cheese in hers but it still arrived with cheese. The other asked for cheese and was told there was none (but still got some). What a shambles. We only went back because it was the only restaurant by the children’s slopes.

We had lunch on the terrace today. Everything went great all around, very nice and friendly service. The service was quick and the food came quickly. I think it was the best burger I've ever eaten, awesome. I can only recommend it to everyone and we'll be happy to come back because the rösti looked really good too -:)

Da kamm die Avant Clavo Hütte gerade recht mit dem nach aussen wirkenden Charm. Naja der Schein trügt, leider verspürten wir keinerlei davon. Jeder Tisch war versehen mit Reservierungen was in meinen Augen eine schweinerei ist. Wie soll man so was den Kindern erklären, sorry Kinder Ihr müsst 2 Stunden warten da alle Tische reserviert sind...sagt mal gehts noch!! Man fühlt sich gleich super willkommen. Dan kommt noch das über freundliche Personal (Ironie) das teilweise nicht mal deutsch spricht. Nennt Ihr so etwas verwöhnen lassen (eure Worte auf der Homepage), das ist alles andere als das!!! Was das Essen angeht waren wir ebenfalls nicht sehr überzeugt und die Teller wurden uns regelrecht vor die Schnauze geschmissen und dies nach einer ziemlich langen Wartezeit. Dadurch konnte man das Essen noch die Atmosphäre geniessen, da man den Tisch kurz darauf wegen einer reservierung wider verlassen muss...absolutes no go auf höchstem Niveau!!!
