Apparently the management at Galli is made up of dog haters. The saleswoman's argument that dogs are not welcome for hygiene reasons is extremely flawed. Luckily, we and our little dog are warmly welcomed at the Steinmann in Thun. Steinmann is still significantly better in terms of quality. Anyone who excludes animals should be excluded themselves. P.S. I've never picked up anything from a dog, but I've picked up a lot from people. And very importantly, I have been working in the areas of hygiene, retirement homes, hospitals, catering and building cleaning for over 25 years.

12 noon in the Galli bakery in Steffisburg. First there is a Nespresso capsule coffee which costs 45 cents at my house. When I ask for a sandwich I have to choose one at the counter. The selection is very modest for a bakery. I then order a Büezer sandwich with salami. According to the “boss” there is only this choice left. In a bakery with a tea room. I decide differently and take the VOI to the train station in Steffisburg. Cool sandwich selection. And lo and behold the sandwiches come from the bakery in my neighboring town. Conclusion: not every baker has a right to exist today.

We always like to stop here on the way back from Heimenschwand. Great plait and probably the biggest (and best!) nut croissant in Switzerland! :-)

Very good coffee and friendly staff!!

We were passing through and visited this tea room for the first time today. Very nice male service. Nice, clean facility and a very large selection of delicious things. The spinach and vegetable cake was very tasty. The latte was also served with a smiling face.

This bakery has a variety of small pieces that you can't find so quickly.

Very nice, but not for the price-conscious

The very best Beck in Steffisburg, the croissants and bread rolls are truly outstanding. In the tearoom you can also enjoy a delicious breakfast, which even tea drinkers will not miss out on

I bought 2 sandwiches and a pretzel croissant from this Beck. A large ham sandwich and a Wegglis sandwich, also with ham. Cost 13.80.- (large 6.50.- / Weggli 5.50.- / croissant 1.80.-) The Wegglisandsich was well topped and was “juicy/with enough sauce”, there were also 2 pieces of cucumber and a slice of egg in it. A fine Weggli sandwich. The large ham sandwich is made from good (real) bread, made by Beck. You simply notice the quality. It's well topped, there could be a slice more of ham on it, but it's not a bad thing because the rest is good. It has enough sauce, there are also 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of egg on it as well as some lettuce. The croissant was crunchy on the outside and still had a soft core. Just as it should be. Here, too, you can easily tell when Beck knows his craft. All in all, it was tasty and worth the slightly higher price. The coffee/seating area also looks cozy. By far the best bakery in all of Steffisburg. Only recommended! I'm happy to respond, it's good :)

I really liked it at Bäcketei Galli AG: nice service, good coffee, cherry cake & healthy bread (ParaPan). All this for just over 20 CHF.

Quality has its price. Unfortunately not enough parking spaces.

The village bakery in Steffisburg. The selection, availability and quality of products has improved massively in recent months and is currently at a very high level. Pastries and patisserie are very good, breads are excellent. The retail store also includes a small coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Very comfortable and recommended.

Very nicely decorated bakery on the main street. You can sit very nicely, the service is very nice. It's very nice to have a small breakfast. There are enough parking spaces on the side street.
