1) The service is the last thing! I went to get some king cake today (without prior ordering over the phone) and drove to the bakery at 6 a.m. in the morning. At the beginning of the conversation I said that unfortunately I was too late to order, but I was still happy about a king cake. I then received an extremely snippy answer saying that the phone was kept open until late in the evening - this answer has absolutely nothing to do with the matter - I was late, which I know... I wanted to pay with the card afterwards - unfortunately it's not possible (mind you, it's the year 2022). Payments can be accepted with Twint or in cash. If you then want to pay with Twint, you will receive another snippy comment twice that you would prefer cash. Then why do you offer payment via Twint?! Joy and enthusiasm for your products and what you do is definitely NOT present in this bakery! 2) The king cake is last! Tastes good - hence the one star in the rating, 0 stars in terms of size and fluffiness! I know the original Lommiswil king cake from the Sägesser bakery very well - it was 1. Tastier, 2. Bigger, 3. Cheaper, 4. Prepared with love! Maybe this unpleasant, customer-UNfriendly grumpy mood is due to the fact that the Sägesser bakery sold the recipe for many, many millions - at least I hope so... For your own benefit, Bakery Dubach, please learn how to deal with customers!

Village is cozy. Great bakery Dubach. August 1st fire is legendary. The carnival parade is worth seeing. Here you can attend operas/operettas. According to my knowledge, the village youth stick together.
