Bäckerei - Konditorei - Café Gut in Willisau

Food was good, service friendly. I found it annoying that our cake was placed by hand from the display onto plates. And there was no lactose-free coffee, which should actually be standard these days

We have visited this bakery several times in the past and have always been very satisfied with the service and quality. Today our post bus was delayed after an excursion and we decided to stop in Willisau and while away the waiting time for the next train instead of waiting outside in -4 degrees. Unfortunately, today, contrary to expectations, we were denied entry into the café with our guide dog. This despite the fact that the staff took special consultation. We were therefore denied a service due to the disability. This is clearly discriminatory.

I like the good selection and the view of the railway tracks from the winter garden. Wine-friendly service is also added.

Very friendly staff, also open on Sundays, very tasty bread and delicious desserts. All products purchased so far have been very good. I shop regularly.

A nice place to stay. Right next to the train station. A well-positioned staff. The selection is delicious. Stable coffee, fine canapes and massively sweet cakes. The vegetable burger is incredibly good, fresh and delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. Thanks

Good place to stop for coffee and cake, sandwiches etc. Nice service and also with many guests. To recommend.

The simple sausage salad tasted wonderful and the salad dressing was excellent. The apple fritters with vanilla sauce were still lukewarm and tasted excellent.

The staff always has a smile on their faces. Quality of the products is also good. Only the price takes some getting used to. PS: Soft ice cream could easily be available all year round. ;)

The best sandwiches far and wide. Another highlight are the breads, especially the dark Lucerne Wegge. We like to go to Willisau for that.

Best Berliners and vanilla Berliners in the entire canton!

This is how coffee works: The milk is perfectly tempered, which gives it the wonderful creamy consistency and slightly sweet taste. For me the first really good milk coffee in a long time. There are also super nice ladies in service. It's a shame that I was only visiting Willisau; would immediately become a regular customer.

Delicious butter plait and nut roll The Gut bakery is expensive compared to the competition. A nut snail costs CHF 3 compared to CHF 2.30 for the competition.. but the quality of the products is fantastic.. In my opinion, it's worth buying the products from the Gut bakery every now and then... preferably less often, but really tasty

Very very good bread. A bread that isn't hard the next day. The bread I bought is already 4 days old and is still soft and fresh in taste. It's a shame you can't buy this bread flour there and bake it yourself. But I'm happy to drive so far for this bread.

Cafe is welcoming. Staff friendly. Was there today January 21st, 2020. We ordered apple chüechli...... 2 x five pieces...... One chüechli costs 2.70 Fr. With vanilla sauce...... So that's 27.- Fr. I've never seen anything like that. They advertise and the price isn't even advertised. 😱🤔...... I've already paid 6 pieces with vanilla sauce at other places for a maximum of 12.50 Fr.🙏 so only 3 1|2 stars.

Friendly staff, also open on Sundays, good bread, hamburger buns highly recommended, the food selection isn't immense, but everyone can find something they like and it's always well cooked. We have never been disappointed.
