Thirst and hunger during midday. But in Engelburg you can't get a fresh Berliner and a warm coffee at the only shop here at lunchtime. A pity

Unfortunately, opening hours are not good. Unfortunately it was closed for lunch and there was no coffee or something to eat after the hard work.

Lovely little bakery and pastry shop with delicious sandwiches, delicious bread and a huge selection of sweet delicacies. Coffee corner in the room and garden seating in front of the house. Friendly, nice service.

The very best nut and almond peaks ever! The breads are always fresh and delicious at fair prices.

Silser rolls comparable to Lidl baked products. Sandwiches are not comparable to those from its predecessor, Gätzi In Wittenbach. At 8 a.m. on Saturday, some products are no longer available. It's a shame this decline in quality from Gätzi to our current situation. I really appreciate a good Beck in the village. But that's how I'll shop at major retailers in the future.

For me one of the BEST BAKERS in the St. Gallen area.

That was nothing at all. Typical Swiss bakery with shockingly little selection. There wasn't even a summit at 11:30 in the morning. The small brioche and almond topping was dry and too sweet. Why do bakeries in Switzerland always serve the same thing? It is clear that it was expensive. At least the cappucino tasted good.
