I was recently at the Cafe Kübler branch in Steinen and was absolutely thrilled with my visit there. The coffee I ordered was simply delicious. It was brewed perfectly and had a wonderful taste. I've tried many types of coffee, but this was definitely one of the best I've ever had. The service in the branch was also excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They were always willing to answer my questions and make sure I was happy with my visit. I felt really cared for and valued as a customer. The atmosphere in the branch was also very pleasant. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Cappuccino is like an Americano with a foamy head

Wanted with the shop door open at 4:05 p.m. on July 31st. Buy a little something sweet and was turned away because it seemed to be closed. But the people at the table in front of the bakery were still easy to use. At least the shop door should have been closed (but it was open) or private friends of the saleswoman would be given priority in the bakery. Something like that doesn't work! Ms. Nicole Nobel does an excellent job and is courteous and friendly to everyday customers. Keep it up !

I consider myself a critical customer, but I have to defend the business and the sellers from many bad reviews. I've had two visits now and I think I've formed my opinion. 1) The service is actually very friendly and always gives me (and others) a smile when I say goodbye. She also politely asks if everything can go in a bag. 2) The pastries are excellent! My work colleagues could also see straight away that the chocolate in the croissants is not a run-of-the-mill brand, but rather has quality. The croissant itself, of course, too. 3) Even the bag is great, in hot weather it didn't let a melted croissant leak out (I thought it was important to mention). 4) The ambience and selection is great. If I would like to and will come back very much and am very satisfied, I give 5 stars and that is the case. I came to the store in the morning and of course I can't speak for possible occupations in the afternoon... The only point of criticism would be that it's a shame to be closed on Sundays.

I give this bakery lowest review because of extremely rude staff member, to be concrete and not to be mistaken with other people working there it's older woman with long black hair (and I think some tattoos). This is my first time I give such a bad review for any place but I really gave it a chance several times. There is a rudeness and hostility towards the people who are using english language, even though the place is near some companies and you would expect that this is not such a rare thing to have english speaking visitors. I will never understand why on any, but especially on sale places people hire somebody who has a problem with different nationalities, languages or races. I will never enter this place again and would advise the same to other people! Do better!

Extremely unfriendly service in the shop at the Heuwaage. They make customers wait unnecessarily and then treat me very arrogantly. The Lenten loaf was barely baked… not edible! A written complaint will not be taken seriously. That was the last time at Kübler!!!

It's sad how internal employees are forced to wear masks; despite several studies that it is exactly this part that makes you sick. It was probably my last purchase there.

I've been to the Kübler bakery several times to get something for breakfast in the morning. Today will probably be the last time. No matter whether it's grain rolls, pretzel rolls, sandwiches or chocolate Weggli, it all just doesn't taste completely fresh. I think it's a shame when you buy a bread roll at 7 a.m. that tastes like it's been there for two days. You can also really work on the friendliness of the employees here.

Good products but Ms. Nobel at the checkout is impossible. Absolutely unmotivated and huffing and groaning as if everything was too much. You can also wear a sign with “no interest” on your forehead.

I work in the transport service and the service there was very friendly. All I had to do was change my seat, that's all and the bowl and the poppy seed sandwitch were very good so keep it up and I'll be back

Good afternoon Mr. Owner The negative criticism of Ms. Nobel is certainly unjustified. As a regular customer, I can say that the entire staff is very accommodating, not just Ms. Nobel. Other employees of my company also go to the Kübler bakery in the Steinen every day and everyone is always very satisfied with the service. The entire staff is very accommodating and polite. I don't think it's appropriate to reprimand the staff.

Unfortunately, unmotivated service. The croissants weren't fresh either (at least today).

Unfriendly staff who are more interested in private matters. Experienced bullying in the workplace live. In the Corona period, cleanliness should be high: dirty toilets at 9 a.m. and a face mask is worn on the chin.

We ordered a coffee cream and an espresso, the espresso was the same size cup as normal coffee, it tasted the same, the two filled Silserli were soggy and sparsely filled, I think they were thawed, were very disappointed...

Racist Customer Service. If you don't speak dutch step away of this shop. The angry lady working there will treat you as if you were an idiot and even shout at you "this is switzerland you should speak dutch". Unbelievable that in a multicultural city such as Basel there is still racist people like that.
