This morning at 8:50 a.m. no more butter peaks, chörni or lye peaks are available. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that peaks are not available around nine o'clock. Drive specially from Effretikon to Illnau to the bakery.

We often bought bread and other baked goods here. Every product is made with love and craftsmanship and you can taste it. Anyone who complains about high prices here has not understood that a small bakery cannot keep up with the prices of Migros Coop etc. The products therefore stand out in terms of quality from mass producers. If you don't understand that and want to compromise on quality, you don't have to shop here, it's simple.

I would like to give 5 stars because it's nice to have a village bakery where you receive friendly service. What I don't fully understand, however, is that you don't send a saleswoman home to be cured if she coughs around in the sales room like she did today. But then I didn't do anything because I wanted the croissants urgently

I can't fully understand the many negative reviews. I am greeted and served by friendly people every time I visit. Since I have always received good quality products that are not dry even after three days, I am happy to pay a little more. For me a good and recommendable village bakery. I'll be back.

The sandwich was OK, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio was by no means right.

The service is unfriendly. The sandwiches are overpriced and the bread is already hard. You can no longer eat the braid the day after you go shopping because it is simply already hard. After I complained, I got the “great” tip to make it wet and put it in the oven... My tip: Zopf from Coop, Migros or the Steiner bakery in Fehraltorf. You can still enjoy these even after 3 days.

Very very expensive bakery. If the quality were also high, we could still stand behind it. The croissants are dry and nothing special and the sandwiches are only visible through a magnifying glass😂. Friendliness/satisfaction was limited.

Delivery worked, but instead of a prince's cake there was a children's ice cream cake that was really not edible. It's a shame that there was no response to the email message after more than 3 months. A pity. Will be avoided in the future.

Very good breads, although a bit expensive. In any case, the service could be friendlier for a local store. I think it's a bit of a shame when you don't feel any joy among the employees and there's no personal level.

Well, the "fresh" pretzels were probably very greasy, but hard.

It's a real shame that quality has been lost. How can it be that you have to pay 7.80 for a small ciabatta sandwich and the roll is stone hard? Cake also has no taste... it has become too expensive for us and lacks quality.

Points of criticism: Too expensive for the service\quality! When you ask about allergy information, you often get a sigh instead of a competent answer. Even at Migrolino, croissants are fresher and better. This was confirmed by several locals in my area. That's why the Beck at the Bhf or even Migrolino is often preferred. I hope this gets better and more Illau residents would definitely shop with you again.

Friendly, attentive staff, varied selection of breads and pastries, delicious variants and surprising new products, good value for money. Uncomplicated pre-orders and quick processing.

There's nothing wrong with quality. But the price is a little too high. I paid a whopping 7.90 CHF for a small tomato and mozarelle sandwich. The roll was smaller than a Weggli. A pity. The following day I went to the competition in the village. You could even get a larger sandwich for less. And the quality was good too.

Great bakery in Illnau. The bakery has plenty of parking and a great selection of patisserie and bread. The braid is particularly recommended. It's definitely worth a piece of the Meterzopf on the weekend. The waitresses are friendly and the prices are normal for a bakery.

Everything tasted really good. For me, the value for money is simply not right, especially with the canapés and sandwiches, which are expensive and have minimalist toppings.

A very pleasant and friendly staff. The baked goods are simply a dream. Hard to find in this quality, taste, smell and baking art these days. The bread could easily be on the table in any award-winning restaurant. I'm happy to pay CHF 7.20 for this. Despite being 15 km away, I would like to shop here more often.

a village bakery that knows its craft, a gem that I know from childhood and not a chain with sterile, monotonous products - my gourmet favorites: Silserbrezel, Oberländer bread, chestnut cake and the very best toast bread!

Always good baked goods. The ancient grain bread is highly recommended.

A bakery must have two things: 1. fresh products, 2. friendliness of the staff. Neither seems to be available at this bakery. “Chocolate bread rolls” were dry (were they from the day before?). That is not how it works. A pity! Was here for the last time... luckily there is a good alternative in Illnau.

The Rapunzel dark (also called Fyrabigbrot dark) is sensationally good: perfect crust and a fantastic taste. I don't know of any better bread in all of Switzerland.
