Very nice, but even though you have to help yourself, the prices are still not lower. But I also don't find take-away products particularly cheap: 400 gr. Güetzi/Petis fours: Fr. 36.--! And lastly: It's a shame that it closes at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Last Saturday it was still pretty full at 3:45 p.m. and no one felt like leaving. Some didn't come in until closing time. P.S. Maybe I feel all this way because I live in a different country/language region.

Large selection, friendly service

Very nice setup, Its very expensive, 5.20 chf for small cappuccino. Its in middle of no where in Zürich but hey thats Switzerland ;-) I was very disappointed with the Birchermüsli too much whipped cream to make a look volumes. I am Chef my self so I certainly know it. But nice, I go there often for my business meetings.

Extremely dim, cheeky and unfriendly staff and this every time, sometimes subtly, this time really underground, this time the plump blonde won the award as one of the unfriendly bakery employees in Switzerland - where does Pfyl always get these staff from? We spend a lot of time in pastry shops and bakeries and every now and then there is an employee of the more jaded sort, but at Pfyl that seems to have been the standard for years. The woman seemed a bit unhappy, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to take it out on the customer... she would probably be better off in a job without customer contact; according to her statement, every step of the job is obviously one too many for her. Unforgotten, although it was about 2 years ago, was the employee who more or less dug her thumb into the cake on the plate while holding the plate - when we asked her to please hold the plate differently, she hissed at us, her I already know what she's doing... Now that's enough, we came to the Pfyl countless times, but once too much unfriendliness, given the high prices... the Pfyl was already more expensive than even certain bakeries in the country before the food prices were raised the expensive city of Zurich, there should also be some customer focus, maybe even some warmth - never again!

As local who often drops by this bakery to make purchases for the elderly in my building I have to say there are some of the unfriendliest staff - they either constantly look as if they mad at the world or maybe the overweight unpleasant server just doesn't know how to use her face muscles and smile or maybe she is just outright racist - considering that over a a few years of going there she has yet to ever show any form of pleasantry towards myself or other non-white customers, that I have sent there as a test to make sure I wasn't just imagining it. The bread is good but the service lacks in making one feel welcome. Not recommended if you having a good day avoid at all cost as they really don't seem very happy in their job.

Nice cafe, great location - rather unmotivated and not too friendly staff. The baked goods are nothing special and so are the cakes... the products from Albisbeck im Volg are much better and cheaper. The sandwiches, on the other hand, are fine, I haven't tried the lunch menu.

The decor of the bakery is very nice. The work here was done with heart. There is a cozy terrace in front of the café with a view of a large square in the village. The fruit cake I tried tasted very good. Thanks.

Things are delicious, unfortunately the shopping experience in the bakery itself is purely a matter of luck - some salespeople are nice, others don't even make an effort.

I don't know of a café that looks more beautiful than this one. Big compliments to the architect and those responsible for decoration. Unfortunately, the staff lacks warmth and motivation. The Corona measures are only being implemented half-heartedly. During our visit, neither our certificate nor the certificate of other guests was checked.

Concerns MyStop branch. Poor German speaking woman said at 8:03 p.m. they were already closed. Even though the website says until 9 p.m. When I was made aware of this, she said I just had to write an email to report the error. But today I can't buy anything anymore. Super unfriendly and not even sales oriented. I won't bring another franc there.

Cool atmosphere, very fine food

We recommend! I was visiting here with senior citizens, the parking spaces are great for people with walking difficulties and there is also a barrier-free entrance and a wheelchair toilet. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well as very attentive! & thanks again to the owners for the great gesture! We will be back definitely!

It is in the middle of the village and they have rebuilt the whole house, it has become very nice and cozy.👍 They have a large selection, from sweets to savory snacks and it all looks delicious! They also have plenty of bread on offer. The saleswomen were also very friendly and competent. Highly recommended, really.👍😀

Local bakery and confectionery with a very good selection. Good bread, and the patisserie is also highly recommended. Friendly service, there is a nice café attached to the bakery with seating inside and outside. Centrally located right next to the post bus stop at the former post office. Popular with locals. The cream slices and strawberry tarts are nothing to sneeze at.

Unfortunately, the attempt to include warm dishes in the range fails miserably. Toast Hawaii and pizza/tarte flambée couldn't be more loveless and it's also expensive. What a shame for such a cozy and beautiful bakery.

12/1/2018 Super good regulars' table, good saleswoman, unfortunately this is an isolated case. certain staff is unfriendly and unhygienic. drops the food on the floor in front of the customer and thinks the customer hasn't seen it and wants to sell it to him. sad☹ Today is February 21, 2019. It's completely different, new staff. You feel warmly welcome again.
