Bad Schinznach AG in Brugg

We have been visiting the thermal baths for years. Now when we were rearranging the apartment we found 2 entrance vouchers. But they no longer accept it. Where is the goodwill? We don't come anymore, luckily there are other thermal baths

A very nice place to relax!! Erholsam wirklich 😍 There are thermal pools, normal pools, children's pools, as well as a slide on the street. The price is pleasant, as for Switzerland. Just a very bad impression of an older lady with black hair who was very arrogant and finally talked to me stupidly so that I came out a few minutes later. Simply bad!!!!!!!!!!

I have been coming to the sauna in Schinznach for more than 10 years. At the beginning the total entrance fee was 49.00 CHF, as of this year we are at 59.00 CHF, unfortunately not with the same standard!!! Of the three showers in the changing area, only one works!! Up on the second floor in the sauna, the shower area has not been good for years. One waterfall shower comes out with more of a trickle, the other one can't be turned on at all, or with others the turn button is so difficult to press that I often couldn't get it to turn on. The infusions are great, today Claudia made the best of it, even though the sauna was only 67 degrees instead of 80 - 85 degrees 😊👍 the scents are great, today there was even nice relaxing music, really great. We all know that energy prices and many other things have risen and we are certainly willing to pay more, but then everything should be right. The same thing at the parking garage 😞 previously 5.00 - 5.50 CHF - today the same period paid 10.50 CHF and that is usury as there is no other option!! Everything has also become more expensive for us as customers and we are also weighing things up carefully…. where we spend our money. In this sense, So there is still room for improvement 😊

The bathing is very nice, comfortable and has a great price/performance ratio. Of course there is always more and more modern, but as I said for the price it is very good! Another big advantage here is that it is child-friendly and it is possible to go swimming with small children.

Today I was sad to discover that there will no longer be a KulturLegi offer in Bad Schinznach in 2024. Previously, economically disadvantaged people received a discount for the 1 1/2 hour entry, which I really appreciated, especially for health reasons. It is important that financially disadvantaged people can continue to offer something to their children so that they do not become additionally socially disadvantaged or excluded. The Bad Schinznach certainly achieves good sales every year and could continue to afford the offer. It's a shame that people always save money in the wrong places.

The food really didn't taste good and was very, very expensive. Salad plate per 100g 3.80 but the plate is also counted. It was at least 200g

Today I was in the bathroom with my family. While playing with my daughter, I lost my rubber bracelet. When I contacted the information office, I had to pay Fr. 50.00. For what reason ? The band will definitely come back after cleaning. And if someone takes the part with them, the chip doesn't cost Fr. 5.00. Just a huge rip off. Definitely my last time there.

Nice, clean bathroom. The sauna area is inviting and cozy. The infusion ceremonies are very intense, the scents are of the finest quality. Only the fact that the cold water pool is at the bottom and the saunas are on the second floor is rather inconvenient. It's probably a question of available space, but a lift can help. I'd love to come back again.

We had a very interesting and impressive tour, underground... these machines and pumps... very impressive, what it takes until we can swim happily.

Were at the night bathe where presecco and other drinks are included and after the 3rd small presecco the waitress insulted them in Albanian (stupid that we as Swiss understand Albanian) she said omg the "curse word" are probably already drunk. We also came to the bathroom sober and after 3 small pressecos we are certainly not drunk. She was generally very unfriendly and always talked to her employee about the gesture in Albanian. We left now 1 hour before the end because we didn't feel welcome. The bathroom is actually good but if you pay for free drinks you should get that.

We absolutely love the bathroom! It also has an adult section, which costs a little more, but it lasts. We will be back! And the restaurant is good too.

Really a great bathroom. Everything was very, very clean, well maintained and a very friendly staff! There are free drinks everywhere (tea, water, lemon water) and apples in the spa area. I would definitely recommend it. Gladly again :)

Excellent!!!! Lots of pools with hot tubs, a water slide and also pools to work out in. Low price and high quality. Competent and friendly staff. I recommend it! The park surrounding the pools is also beautiful.

A beautiful place to enjoy and linger. I was particularly impressed by the huge salad buffet in the restaurant.

I am a regular customer at the Schinznachbad I go there 3 times a week, but yesterday on May 7th, 2023 I was yelled at for the first time in the sauna by a large permanent German employee because I didn't have a towel with me. She could have told me normally and not so cheekily. She was completely incompetent because she doesn't know how to talk to customers. I had to leave the sauna instead of getting a towel. I would have also paid for the cloth even though I had a day ticket.

Absolutely the last time I was there. Great praise on the website for being barrier-free and suitable for people with disabilities. I, in a wheelchair, was really looking forward to the day. First of all, I didn't know that I had to change the wheelchair because it wasn't anywhere. Then an employee came along with a shower/toilet chair that had so much play in the wheels on each side that it almost collapsed under its own weight. When I refused to transfer to this, I received a strange look and the statement that nothing had ever happened to him. They then reluctantly looked for someone else. After waiting again, he came with the same model. Ok, the wheels only had a centimeter of play left. After changing, I laboriously made my way to the water lift. I waited there. The employee looked over at me a few times without making any move to help me. Only after my wife went to see him did he come. He was quite overwhelmed when operating the lift; he said he hadn't needed it for a long time. After about an hour I noticed that my strength was slowly running out and I wanted to get out. We went back to the elevator. No lifeguard or other staff member could be found. My wife rang the bell at least 10 times. Absolutely nothing. I was left in the water for about 20 minutes, half drowning because my strength had run out. A cleaner finally had to take me out of the water. She told us that the bell hasn't worked for two days. After we were outside and asked for an employee to submit our complaint, this incompetent employee came. But instead of presenting a solution, he lied to our faces. If I could give zero stars, I would. That day with them was hell!! No more !!!!!

After a very stressful year, we were about late trying to find something about Christmas. Luckily there was a good offer here: 2 nights, half board with a gala dinner (5 courses) and use of the entire thermal bath. The staff is very friendly, the food was very good, the thermal baths did their best for our relaxation. The host took enough time at the aperitif before dinner to greet everyone and exchange a few words. All in all, it was a very relaxing few days for us.

Sunday evening for a relaxed end to the day. The price increases are slowly having a negative impact. Even the parking lot opened up. This should actually be included in the asking prices. The bathroom itself is now getting old and could do with a bit of fresh air. But... the prices are now outrageous, and we will probably go to Germany more often, where the service and the offer are much better. Annotation: Save yourself a visit to the restaurant!

Sauna and spa are good, but there’s a very limited amount of options for kids (1 short slide)

What particularly distinguishes this thermal bath is the smell of sulfur, which unfortunately is very similar to rotten eggs. The reason for this is the high sulfur content of the water, which has various advantages, but for me personally it relatively limits relaxation (due to the smell). See their website for the different saunas and pools. Unfortunately, only 1 sauna (clay sauna) is not in the nude area, all others are textile-free. You can't just enter the bathroom restaurant every now and then to have lunch. It is compulsory to get fully dressed again, including shoes, in order to even be able to go for lunch. Controversial because in the sauna area, which we paid for, even a bikini was forbidden. The prices are rather high for the services, so I recommend comparing other thermal baths. The staff, on the other hand, is very friendly and attentive. Since the floor is very slippery, the staff had to constantly mop the floor to avoid falls. I would have liked a clear map, as some areas are rather hidden.

Sauna nice and relaxing. The current price increase of 27 to 31 CHF for 2 hours on Sunday, however, is well above inflation. Why the parking garage also increased by 50% at the same time cannot be explained by the increase in energy costs.

The Thermi Spa is well done, the saunas are functional. It's “normal” that prices are rising at the moment. But unfortunately I don't think the pricing system you're using is happy, for example if you want to visit all areas (sauna, Aquarena Fun & Thermi Spa) you have to buy the day ticket for high Fr 55.-… even if you only stay 2-3 hours... Unfortunately there are a lot of children in Aquarena Fun who make noise and have their cell phones with them. Unfortunately there are no controls..

We had a great stay here. When we went in we were given free bathrobes, fruit and snacks! There are a variety of baths and saunas. It is clean and hygienic. Water with lemon is offered free of charge.

The bathroom and sauna area are very clean and well maintained. I really appreciate the Aquarena.

The only thermal pool was full of children. Accordingly, the water quality was really bad. (Full urine) There are no alternative options without an additional package. Thanks for the eye infection. I can't recommend it.

You can really relax there. Of course it wasn't at rush hour, it was relatively quiet, in the wellness area there was fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts and of course plenty of water and tea for all sauna visitors. Friendly staff, but a bit complicated for new customers, you have to look for everything and explore the whole area first.

Very quiet and comfortable hotel. Meals: unique menu but delicious possibilities for a second course. Super large swimming pool next to the hotel. Free parking for those who are at the hotel.

Modern and nice but relatively crowded and not really relaxing on a Sunday, understandable but otherwise good. Prices are also ok if you can use the full 2 ​​hours.

In reception there is confusion about options. I wasn’t properly informed and I bought not the ticket I wanted. Sauna… you have to be totally naked (nobody at reception informs you about it). And it is common sauna- men and women together. So no division section there. For me it is not pleasant experience seeing other people going around naked without anything. And foremost it is not hygienic when they sit with no underwear no towel in sauna. Disgusting. On the top stuff ordered me to be naked or to leave!!!!!. It wasn’t pleasant experience- not worth money.

Since the sauna was renovated, it has become far too bright. You feel like you're at a lamp exhibition. You can only drink the water out of plastic cups, which is a shame. The saunas themselves are very nice. But please dim the lights a little.

The bathroom is very nicely laid out. It's not particularly big and only has a few pools. The atmosphere created by the light and rock walls is very pleasant. We took part in this year's moonlight swim and recovered very well. The fire bowls, snacks and aperol made the evening very special. A really good idea. Unfortunately the water is a bit too cold for my standards. This is a completely subjective opinion.

I've been here several times, the bathroom itself and the infrastructure are ok to good. However, I have noticed the reception staff negatively several times, quite disinterested and unfriendly. In contrast to the employees in the bathing area, they are very nice and helpful. The grace period is too short for a family with 2 children; after all, I pay for the time in the bathroom and not for the time in the changing area.

We were there for almost 5 hours on Wednesday, there were few people. Oriental cocoon with peeling, the saunas and baths: it was just great, pure relaxation!

Despite a valid certificate, tourists are not allowed to enter; the behavior is completely unprofessional and very dismissive. The certificate wasn't even looked at properly. I would like to give 0 stars but unfortunately that's not possible. Definitely not a recommendation to visit this.

We wanted to go swimming and my partner is German. He had his vaccination certificate with him but the nice woman at the checkout doesn't accept it but only with a QR code.. huge cheek! Everything could have been proven, the woman was not interested! Not recommendable!!!!

Nice bathroom but unfortunately a lot of visitors don't adhere to the most minimal hygienic requirements, namely showering, which should be a given! Even men with underpants under their swimming trunks are scary! Great offer in the restaurant even in the evening!

Beautiful and modern sauna area. The price is on the higher end, but it's still worth it! Not so many people at the moment because of 2G+, but it can get crowded with more guests. There are a lot of children in the swimming area during the day - you just have to take this into account and go at off-peak times if you want it to be a little quieter.

Our only problem was the worker who greeted us at the cashier. She confused us about what options we had. Otherwise, a lovely place with a wonderful experience to offer. Will be back.

I really like the Thermi Spa. Quiet (adults only), very clean, very friendly staff and really modern and stylish with lovely high quality materials. I also find the 50 day entry very reasonable. There are 2 towels, sauna towels, drinks and dried fruit. There is also the Aquarena Fun. This part is loud and often a bit crowded (lots of families and children). Design is also a bit outdated. It's not exactly what I'm looking for, but it seems to suit many others.

The thermal baths here are awesome, a very relaxing experience on one side, and fun with the family on the other. The facilities were very well kept and clean as well. Would definitely recommend going if you're around this area.

Nice thermal bath, have been here several times. The massages are always very good and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, there are 2 points that I find unfortunate: 1. Two massages at the same time is not always possible 2. Certain things should be renovated or repaired. Such as: the cold water basin in the Hamham or the floor in the bathroom.

Very relaxed, cozy, friendly service

It is one of the most beautiful, quiet and pleasant thermal baths I have ever visited. But in my opinion this place is much more attractive if you visit it in autumn, winter or spring, with cool or cold weather.

Went with the kids and really had fun, has usual here. Place is not too crowded and we did not see time passing in the hot water.
