Four of us had dinner with you. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly. Food was ok, hot pot a little too spicy, there were a lot of chillies in the broth. The desserts are very puny for the price of 9.50 - half a banana fried with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and three apple slices as decoration... otherwise everything is fresh and good.

The red curry is really good, but in my opinion there are too few vegetables. The Pho is also very good, the meat is really good quality. Szechuan beef, pak choy, kung pao, chop suey, etc. don't convince me. The prices are relatively high, especially for takeaway. 24.50 CHF for a red Thai curry is too high a price for take away. At the Thai takeaways in Bern and the surrounding area you pay at least 30% less for a red Thai curry or a Kung Pao etc. The rice as a side dish is also not enough. You actually still have to order an additional portion and that costs another 5 CHF more. :-)

The waitress thinks she's the boss, not at all friendly, on top of that she gets the order wrong, and when she brings us the bill, there are drinks from another table on our bill. In short, I won't set foot in this restaurant again this evening. The rot for people who don't know Asian cuisine, in short, to avoid!!!!!

Simple, very cozy village restaurant with very friendly service.

Aisle with gourmet passport on a Saturday evening and not informed when booking that only buffet... Lots of people and we were seated in the dining room smoking room without warning us. No one smoked but unpleasant smell of cold tobacco. Food wasn't bad but disappointed.

Attractive offerings, pleasant atmosphere, something for everyone.

I recently had noodle soup with chicken for 22.50. It was priced very high for this performance. Taste-wise a disaster. The broth was nothing more than hot water. Although there were bowls of seasoning, it only made the water spicier, not tastier. Noodles were enough, meat could be a little more.

At Bären Aarberg you can expect a great selection of specialties from Thailand, Vietnam and China. The food is very freshly prepared and the service is friendly. I personally recommend the Cantonese duck with the homemade soy sauce, as a side dish I recommend the Cantonese rice or fried noodles.

Aperitif great, the drinks looked good and were tasty. Unfortunately the satay skewers were way too dry, a shame about the good peanut sauce. Unfortunately, the various main courses were meager and we all didn't like the taste. It also took quite a while to prepare even though there were few guests.

This is the second time we have ordered there. All dishes were very good. We will definitely eat there again. order.

Good service, fair prices, good food

Unfortunately we were massively disappointed. My husband had reserved a table for Valentine's Day a week in advance. We arrived and they had to already look for the reservation. We were there with our children aged 3 and 5 months. When we were at the table, a woman came and said: Buffet today/come on, I'll show you. We were still in a good mood then, so we got up and went after her. When she arrived at the buffet, the woman went away because she saw a friend and wanted to greet her. Unfortunately she completely forgot about us and just ran away and couldn't be found again. My husband took a plate for our son and himself. I immediately lost the mood to eat there because the woman, who was probably the boss, showed no interest in entertaining us in any way. We went back to the table, which was completely carelessly set up in a room full of people. It was TOTALLY uncomfortable!! The waitress didn't even come to ask if everything was ok, the staff was just at the front. It was massively disappointing and the VERY BEST thing was when we got up after 30 minutes and wanted to leave (since we had no service and the buffet was really minimal) we were still allowed to pay 95.-. 2 children and 2 adults. To mention again our daughter is 5 months old and drinks BREAST MILK🤬 but we had to pay. The problem was simply that she should have said from the start that it would be a buffet. The other thing: we were completely open, even if we were a little disappointed, because we were looking forward to a quiet evening (getting food without getting up, etc. (anyone who has children understands this). But when the boss was so uninterested and ran away from us when She actually wanted to explain the process to us and we had no waitress, it was easy enough for us. It's really just a shame and cheeky!!!

Magnificent we ate very well, fresh products. very good food and we were very well served in a relaxing atmosphere. A lot of choices.

One of the best, if not the best Asian Thai Chinese restaurant. Price performance is good. My favorite is the Cantonese-style duck. Cury, whether red, yellow or green, is also highly recommended.

I went to the restaurant on Saturday evening to eat with my family. We waited over 15 minutes for the card. 30 minutes until the first drink was served. We waited over 1 1/2 hours to even start the main course. The staff is disinterested and shows little enthusiasm. Reorders for drinks must be placed several times. The light is very unpleasant for the eyes, a dim red light. That was the very last time I will visit this restaurant!
