The food was very good and was prepared very quickly but it tasted very high quality and compact, the bagels didn't fall apart, the atmosphere is very nice and in general I will eat here again

Nice little bagel place. Works in a really similar way than a Subway but with bagels. Staff was really friendly. Great when you’re on the go. Vegetarian options.

I went there for lunch, and I must say I was rather disappointed. Given the reviews, it seemed unlikely to me that I would be so disenchanted. The emphasis is mainly placed on the quality of the breads and indeed aside from that, the quality is excellent. However, I was still hungry after eating the bagel. Having chosen one with chicken, I instead ended up with a salad “sandwich” mainly, then with tomato and finally chicken. You will agree that at this price, we still expect more meat. In conclusion, it is better for me to go for a “lower” quality sandwich but one that will fill me up.

Moderately efficient service. Fresh and good ingredients. Crispy and soft bread at the same time. Special mention for the delicious coleslaw which will pleasantly accompany your bagels.

😡 TOO DISGUSTED! We arrived at 7:30 p.m. there were still people inside but they refused to let us in. We came from Berne and what’s more, they were still serving these people! It says open until 9 p.m. anyway! But they didn't want to know! SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!!!

The inner decoration of this place is lovely and very original, and the staff is friendly. They have one vegan bagel sandwich that tastes ok and the ingredients seem fresh... it's a bit expensive though. If you're very hungry, you may have to order a side with it.

I really liked this place but they now have a foie gras bagel. It is such a cruel product and its production is even banned in Switzerland because of the mistreatment of ducks. So I can no longer recommend this place :(.

Before there was a very friendly manager and we were always greeted with a big smile and a little personal word as if we were at home. He left a few weeks ago and unfortunately we feel less welcome...

First time and it was excellent. A good snack. The manager was super nice. Well recommended. I had the pastrani bagel. The premises are also well located. Very close to Friborg train station. It’s really the best for eating something on the go.

I absolutely love the unique bagel sandwiches that are freshly prepared in front of the guest. Price performance top. If you don't know Bagelstein yet, subway and sbux are united under one roof. But with premium quality and creative store design.

Unforgettable experience, but in the bad sense of the word. As a surprise ingredient, I got 2 large pieces of plastic in my takeaway bagel. When I brought it back, the seller didn't even offer me a refund or a new Bagel, but just barely apologized and offered me a dessert in exchange... I would therefore advise the 2 sellers to concentrate more on the preparation of the food and to review your commercial gestures. And stop twerking and singing like you're in the shower. And for Bagelstein: train your employees better!

Allée 2x bagels très bonsLa première fois on a pu sans autre faire notre bagel (ai eu un prix correct), mais la seconde fois on a l'impression de déranger comme on ne prend pas une formule et on nous facture au prix d'une formule alors que moins d'ingrédients. De plus, leur comptoir ressemble à ceux de subway donc on se dit on peut faire notre bagel non ?Service pas très rapide et on doit redire plusieurs fois les choses

J’y suis allé deux fois. Une fois pour y boire un verre et une fois pour y manger qqch. Le personnel est accueillant et la décoration est magnifique. L’endroit est bien situé au centre de la ville de Fribourg. Quand j’ai été boire un verre c’était nickel et tout était bien.Cependant quand j’y suis retourné peu après le deconfinement j’ai trouvé que l’hygiène était moins bonne. J’ai mangé un donut qui était posé directement sur un plateau ce que je n’ai pas trouvé fameux. La table ne paraissait pas très propre non plus. Chose intéressante, j’y étais avec une amie qui a aussi mangé un donut et deux jours plus tard nous sommes les deux tombés malades d’une gastro-entérite en même temps ce qui me paraît louche surtout que c’est la seule fois où j’aurais pu m’infecter. Je ne dis pas que c’est chez eux que je suis tombé malade mais que il y a de fortes chances.

The bagels and cakes are very good. Lots of choices of Bagels which are also well stocked. There is also the possibility of choosing bread. The employees are nice but perhaps not serious enough and too insistent on buying a dessert. The decoration is very original and funny.

I find the price of Bagels too expensive 10 francs bagel alone and very very little filling... The bread was not at all that of the real Bagel unfortunately... Otherwise very nice decoration of the Bagelstein :-)

I went to this fast food restaurant and I was quite disappointed with the way things went... How is it so complicated to order a bagel (overpriced). Like, I just wanted a bagel, not answer a questionnaire that I had to do twice because there are two employees who do two things, one to cook (assemble) your bagel, the other to... to tell the truth, I don't really know. I made 3 round trips between the cook and the (cashier)? Anyway, 0 smiles, I had to be charged for one dessert too much (which I didn't ask for because it was such a disaster... I just wanted to leave) ah and one more thing, the decor is Really ..........................................
