Crazy Wolf in Fribourg

We went on Sunday for brunch with friends. The restaurant is located near the city center and is easily accessible by public transport. I rate it 5 stars, because I really want to go back. I really liked the simple menu, the varied and satisfying brunch options, the kindness of the servers and the relaxed atmosphere. Prices are adequate. Okay for the kids. To summarize, I recommend this restaurant to meet up with friends, as a couple, with or without children 👌 To correct: -The arrangement of the dining rooms. ‘La cukkou’s room’ was too tight. As I sat down, I broke a jug of water from the table next to it. Maybe reduce the number of tables, here's my suggestion. -The organization. Even with good food and smiling waiters, the organization was not very good. We waited over 20 minutes for plates, and one of the orders had not been placed correctly.

The brunch was good but too expensive for the quality and quantity presented. Coffee to make yourself, coffee machine broken because maintenance was not done, our dishes were not served at the same time so we had to eat staggered, and what's more the dishes were lukewarm.

Beef burger clearly buyed ready no quality, lightly burned outside, bad taste inside not cooked. Service too slow and incompetent staff. No Premium Spotify, commercial playing between songs. I will never go again

I've known Crazy Wolf since those early days and I've always loved the yummy burger. Lately, I ordered takeout several times... And I was a little disappointed. The yummy sauce was put on the bottom bun and therefore completely pumped out by the bread once home. Maybe it would be better to place the sauce on the meat to keep the burger nice and juicy. Also, the fries were a bit soggy, but I think that was due to condensation in the carrying bag.

We went there for Sunday brunch. Orders are made at the counter and drinks are self-service. We waited a long time to receive our dishes, I think our order was forgotten. We have priced 2x the pancake + baker's basket formula, 1x the salmon and pancake formula and a Burger. The burger arrived with the salmon and the toast (the pancakes were missing) Then 5-10 minutes later the 2 pancake options arrived. The baker's baskets were missing. We had to call the waiter, it was indeed an oversight for these 3 elements... the pancakes arrived for the salmon formula, the baker's baskets took too long to arrive, it was a good 20 minutes that we had finished the rest and asked to be reimbursed for the baskets which the manager accepted. It must have been a stroke of bad luck, everything seemed to be going well for the other tables. The food was very good and the staff pleasant but nothing more.

a super nice and friendly setting, a wide choice of Burgers, especially the student menu (15 CHF) with fries included, ideal for a midday meal before returning to class!

Great address for burger lovers. My favorite is the pulled pork burger.

The dishes are good but unfortunately the atmosphere is quite awkward. To begin with, not the call to reserve, big moments of blankness and a lack of understanding on the part of the waiter. Once we arrived we were treated to a fairly cold welcome. We were told: “you are the last..” what should we understand? We then ordered a brunch menu and a burger. The brunch arrived in 2 parts almost 10 minutes apart and the burger arrived again afterwards. We would have liked to receive everything at the same time so that nothing gets cold.

Delivery is not the order, meat overcooked. I ordered a double yummy and received some I don't know what but only ketchup. Soft and undercooked fries. For the price it's not normal. Bread not good. In short, I'm changing creameries. It ended up in the trash. Sorry.

Very fine brunch every Sunday. Be sure to reserve in advance.

I didn't like it at all, plus I asked for the Heidi and they gave me the veggie. Frankly I advise against it.

Great discovery in Fribourg. Simply the best pulled pork burger

Since the post-covid reopening, the quality of the dishes has dropped significantly... The dishes are served in 5 minutes, the bread is dry, the meat is bland, the sauce is almost non-existent, a salad leaf that you can't smell. The salad (on the side) is bland, the fries are soft and tasteless... For 27fr it's a steal!!!

I look on the internet for the closing time 10:00 p.m. I show up at 9:30 p.m. to order takeaway food and they tell me closed, and this is the second time this has happened, if you don't want to work don't occupy the place 'place for people who want to work, and renovate the place that really sucks

Too bad, their vegetarian menu needs to be reviewed. Their Veggie burger was just not good... Sometimes even a slice of grilled eggplant does the trick. Second shame, we came across a good core in our salad as an accompaniment. For the price, it's a triple shame.

I tried the Veggie Yummy Burger (CHF 18.- + 8.- to make it Menu with French Fries and Drink), which is vegetarian and not vegan. The only Vegan option is a sandwich at the same price. The homemade beet patty was not very tasty and was more a textureless puree. Currently, their's a lot of better options in town for good and tasty veggie oder vegan burgers.

A lovely brunch on Sunday. The staff was friendly and the food was nice. It is surprising that many seats were already reserved. If coming for more people, making a previous reservation may be a good idea!

I had the avocado chicken burger which was quite fine. However, they were rather stingy on the chicken, there was only a tiny bit of it, which was bit disappointing, in particular considering the rather overexpensive price of 20 CHF.

Amazing food! We tried the vegetarian burgers and they were certainly among the best we have eaten at Fribourg. The ice tea that comes in the meal was great too. And to top it all, we were served by very courteous staff. A place you should not miss if you are a fan of burgers and fries!

The place is simple but very nice, orders are made at the bar, but the staff is welcoming and friendly, always ready to help us make our choice. The food is excellent and the service fast. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good burger at a fair price. Little extra for the Sunday brunch which is simply DIVINE!!! Please note, reservations are recommended for brunch.

I had excellent memories of Crazy Wolf, but during my last visit, I did not find the magic of the first times. The burger was certainly good, but the service was very average and I felt tension among the staff which made the atmosphere heavy.

Great restaurant! Original choice of burgers, different from all the other restaurants that offer burgers in Fribourg. Very friendly service. On the other hand, be careful, you can only pay by cash.

Na ja, das Fleisch wurde mit grosser wahrscheinlich nicht in einem Smoker geräuchert. Das Fleisch ist ein Pulled Pork gepresstes Patty. Die Sauce war zu dominant, wahrscheinlich um den nicht Rauchgemschack zu übertönen. Das Brot hingegen ist A++.

Yummy Burger with delicious Béarnaise sauce! The meat is quality, the bread crisp and fresh, the same homemade fries. The little extra salad on the side is perfect. In addition, homemade cold tea is very thirst-quenching. I really recommend the place. The service was very friendly!

Complètement déçue de leur brunch .... C’était déjà mal parti pour effectuer une réservation, premier appel on refuse de traiter ma réservation car ils sont en service (appel à 11h le matin), une dame me demande de rappeler à un autre moment et me boucle au nez... Pour le brunch assiette préparée à l’avance qui attend sur le comptoir ... du coup, plat à moitié chaud, pommes de terre molles, saucisse et lard dure... impression de ne pas manger du frais et d’être dans un fast-food.. assiette peu garnie pour 29.- quand même ! les 3 pancakes étaient le seul point positif du brunch ...!Je n’y reviendrai pas ...

Bon burger, mais frites seches. Pas de coca, uniquement de l’eau ou du thé glacé maison ( plutot bon, mais ce n’est pas du coca ☹️). On fait la queue on paie et puis les burgers sont servis a table. Ambiance chaleureuse. Prix assez riche malgré tout

Very good burgers, great welcome, the homemade cold tea is really excellent. On the other hand, I have to give 2 stars for the disposable paper cups. This is very regrettable. Whether it is recyclable or not, it is a significant source of waste. Why not donate washable/reusable hard plastic cups, with a deposit if necessary? As a restaurant you have a significant impact and you can even set an example. Hoping very much that this change will be made 🙏

Ordered delivery requesting no sauce and no onion in my burger. Guess what I got? Sauce and onion! Incredible ignorance. I wonder if these people understand at all that some people may be seriously allergic to some components... $25 for that and for poorly cooked chicken in the burger and a tiny portion of french fries. If this is "one of the best" burger places as some people claim here, well, I wonder what others are like then. Will have to stick to the infamous Ronald's place then - at least you can choose the meal you get there.

Das Restaurant Crazy Wolf ist bei Studenten und Jugendlichen sehr beliebt, mit klassischen Burgern, aber auch originellen Kreationen. Sie erhalten ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sie können es auch mit Ihren Kindern probieren, sie werden es sicherlich genießen, da es ganz anders ist als die klassischen Fast-Food-Ketten.

Cuisine super bonne et ambiance sympa. Je n’ai jamais été déçue mais les prix sont plus chers que dans certains autres fast-foods équivalents de Fribourg

La carte du Crazy Wolf propose entre autres des salades, des ribbs BBQ et plusieurs sortes de burger, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Faits maison, à priori avec des produits frais et locaux, c’est ce qu’on appelle de vrais burger!Les menus s’accompagne d’une petite salade, de grosses frites maisons et du thé froid maison aussi (il est très bon)Attention: les menus enfants sont gigantesques.Pour passer commande il faut se rendre au comptoir et payer de suite, le thé froid maison est en libre service.

I love your cuisine and the welcome and always very warm. We should just stop putting foie gras on the menu at Christmas and generally add some vegan options.

Regional and responsible meat: Super Homemade tea: great, looks like peach bubble tea the extra cheese is CHF 1.40 very good Hamburger Yummi: terrible taste to me, there were 4 of us to receive the meats burnt black! Sauces: disappointment, they talk about homemade sauces but ketchup and mayo if it's artisanal then it's a failure! Fries: nothing special salad: nothing special the price: expensive for what we got and what's more, they don't come and take orders at our table. The staff during payment were friendly but no more contact otherwise. Please note cash only. The burnt meat ruined everything but even beyond that, I didn't like it and wouldn't come back. Good choice of burgers and original variations. On the other hand, don't count on being able to reach them by telephone, it's a real disaster, no one answers!!

I highly recommend Crazy Wolf if you want to eat in a group. They have a menu large enough to satisfy almost all tastes and you have large tables available as well as unlimited drinks.

Good service from enjoyable staff, were seated fairly quickly. The ingredients are fresh And locally sourced, but the prices are still low. Great personnel, always treat us like family not only a customer. Nice location, a lot of menu choices, we were really happy with the food. Very interesting menu, getting excited about returning to try even more dishes.

Cela fait 3 fois que j'y vais et j'ai toujours autant de plaisir. Rien à redire sur les burgers, le service, et la qualité des produits.

Nous sommes des habitués du lieu depuis de nombreuses années mais force est de constater que la qualité baisse de fois en fois malheureusement.La viande reste au top mais pour le reste.... Nos frites avaient un goût de "fond de congélateur" (immangeable)... La salade verte n'est pas des plus fraîches (très certainement sortie directement des sachets en plastique et posée directement dans les assiettes) heureusement 1 petite rondelle d'oignon frais et un brin de racine rouge donne un semblant de fraîcheur.Il y a également un problème avec la ventilation car les habits (et nous-mêmes) sentions effectivement très forts (friture et autre) à la sortie du restaurant.Le Crazy Wolf a su se faire une clientèle fidèle mais attention aux faux pas, ne vous endormez pas sur votre réputation car le repas n'est clairement plus à la hauteur du Crazy Wolf que nous avons connu à ses débuts!En ce qui nous concerne, nous avons été trop souvent déçus et nous n'y reviendrons pas. Le prix est clairement trop élevé par rapport à la qualité de l'ensemble.

Burger Restaurant im ersten Stock. Schlichte Einrichtung mit Tischen und Bänken, aber stimmig. Bestellung und Bezahlung an der Kasse, die Burger werden dann zum Tisch gebracht. Die Burger können einzeln, oder als Menü bestellt werden. Beim Menü gibt es dann noch Hausgetränke (verschiedene Eistees) oder ein Rabatt auf die Getränkekarte mit vielen Craftbieren und Beilagen dazu. Leckere Burger und ordentliche Portionen. Preis für ein Menü zwischen 20 und 25 Fr.

Dieser Burger Ort ist großartig - günstig, hip, aber der Burger, den ich hatte, war einfach himmlisch, lecker und einen Besuch wert. Ich fand das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit - ich sprach nur Englisch und der Angestellte, der mich bediente, konnte Englisch sprechen, um meine Bestellung entgegenzunehmen. Außerdem - ich bestellte einen heißen Tee und sagte, ich hätte 2 - sagte sie, kalter Tee sei in den Kosten des Burgers (zusammen mit Pommes) enthalten und sie würde mir die 2 heißen Tees nicht in Rechnung stellen.Alles in allem - ein großartiger Ort zum Essen zu einem sehr erschwinglichen Preis mit exzellentem Service.

Best vegetarian burgers ever! I've tasted a lot of different veggie burgers and this one has roasted veggies and its to die for, seriously recommend.
