It was awesome!!! Very friendly staff, you immediately felt at home. The ambience is optimally decorated like at the train station, great. Had nachos, absolutely brilliant, with bacon sooo good. The steak tartare was excellent. Nadine Saxer's wine is a Swiss Pino Noir, very good. I was overwhelmed by the dessert, a white coffee ice cream and a Snickers ice cream, literally melting away. Thank you for the great evening.

Salad and spare ribs were very good for lunch. It was worth it.

The food was world class. Everything is homemade and of top quality. Very friendly and humorous service. The ribs were world class, a bit too sweet for me personally. But that's probably a matter of taste. The only negative point for me is the volume. Perhaps this can be improved with acoustic mats or something similar. It was way too loud for me.

A great place to eat and drink in good company

Clear but tasty menu and an above-average number of beers and wines to choose from. The staff is very attentive, friendly and personable, the atmosphere is pleasant and friendly.

The two of us were there in the evening for a beer after work. The parking spaces in front of the restaurant were all occupied, and apart from the parking garage opposite there were hardly any parking spaces available, but 3.50 for 3 hours is more than cheap. Ambience cozy, atmosphere good, but a bit too loud until shortly before closing (it was hardly possible to have a conversation at normal volume) but that's subjective. I liked the anteroom where you can smoke, it was a bit quieter, and the large selection of drinks and bottled beer (self-service) in the refrigerators. Food was good but a bit too expensive for the small portions (hence points deducted). I think we will come back occasionally.

A little gem in the middle of Sursee. Enough parking spaces, friendly staff, beautiful outdoor area for eating or a separate chill lounge for a relaxing drink. If you like gin or beer, you will find a hundred choices there. The food was perfectly presented and exquisitely prepared, it was a real delight from the starter to the dessert. A restaurant that I will definitely recommend and will happily visit again.

We were ignored by the service for quite a long time, everyone around us was served, we were only able to order when I asked. We were only able to order from a small part of the already clear menu, with the reason that it was late and things that took a long time could no longer be ordered. I think you make pulled pork in advance, you can't do it when the guest orders, so this reasoning doesn't really make sense. They probably didn't have any left. The burger that could still be ordered wasn't really great, and was rather small for the price. The fries, on the other hand, were very good, originally made and the sauces were great. This means that the Bahnhöfli has gained another star. Nevertheless, our conclusion was that we would have been better off going somewhere else. A pity.

Google's pricing is highly misleading. Certain reviews are also misleading. Food was tasty though. But the price is too high. 25.- for a small pulled pork sandwich without any side dish. Just under 60 for the whole “menu”. If the sandwich were at least big enough. And definitely not cheap in terms of taste.

Maybe it was just the perfect evening, but everything was really right: the salad was crunchy, the burgers were delicious, the fries were excellent, the beer selection was sensational, the service was totally attuned (Swiss German for being in a good mood, positive), the location was great inside and out cozy. Everything just fit perfectly - thanks to everyone!

Unfortunately, quality is not in line with the price! Carelessly done! 27.50 for a burger thrown on a plate without any side dish (fries cost extra!) didn't particularly convince me!

Great atmosphere including a live band and despite the rainy weather. The selection of beers in the Giga fridge is great. The honey ribs were great, but unfortunately the fries were a little less so. We would like to come again.

A real experience and a must for railway fans. The Bahnhöfli restaurant is located in the former Sursee-Stadt train station. The food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambience is quiet. A lot of details from the railway era are still there. Clear recommendation!

Nice place, nice staff, but the 27.50 for a relatively normal burger (without fries) is already a cracker, the 7 of us agreed.

Friendly staff, quick and available to satisfy all customer requests. I recommend booking in advance as there aren't many places, especially if you want to eat inside. The choice of meat and excellent vegetarian alternatives is very interesting, for all tastes!

The restaurant is beautiful. In a very coolly furnished house or the very cozy outdoor area you can enjoy very good food and a selection of many different drinks. The service works great. The only point of criticism is the relatively loud atmosphere in the restaurant.

Sensational for burgers, beer and meat lovers. Personally, I think the prices are a little high (but not too expensive), but everything about it is sensational. I particularly like the nachos as an appetizer. Spare ribs and burgers are a hit. They also have a very large beer selection. I think the house beer is really great. I've been to Bahnhöfli several times and never had a positive experience. Long waiting times (1h+), unfriendly, stressed staff and prices that are too high Compare to the quality of the food. Compliments to the beer selection, it's really difficult to find a restaurant with a good beer selection in Switzerland! Cool location and the food is super delicious! We had the nachos with bacon and I haven't been able to get them out of my head ever since😂I would come back just for the nachos😄

Excellent! Friendly service, clear menu (fits on the placemat), the food was great. There is also an “outside cage” with around 100 different beers for self-service. The only downside: After the starter we had to wait quite a long time for the main course. But that could also be due to the large crowds and the A1 special class burger definitely made up for the wait! Gladly again!

Starting from the outstanding service, the really, really delicious food and the best iced tea I've ever had in my life, everything is just right. I had nachos (with the pork belly chops!!), spare ribs and Toblerone mousse and as already mentioned it was top notch. If I had to name the top 3 restaurants I have eaten at in my 29 years, the Bahnhöfli in Sursee would definitely be there.
