Incredible cheesecake, always the highlight when changing trains in Arth-Goldau, I can only recommend it…

It's right on Bahnhofplatz, next to the main platform. Popular with train staff (the SOB has its staff rooms on the first floor), baked goods, snacks and daily menus. Branch of Cafe Pfenninger on Parkstrasse.

Extremely nice service, coffee tastes great and the selection of pastries is excellent! I always like to have a coffee there and the atmosphere inside is very pleasant. If you need a place to work, I can recommend it here.

The fact that the coffee has the same price both for immediate enjoyment on site and for take away is questionable? Normally I expect a takeaway coffee to be a bit cheaper. The atmosphere in the café was inviting and the waiting time was short.

The staff are generally quite polite and friendly, but the owner/manageress is extremely rude, unfriendly and unpleasant and i certainly won’t be taking any business there again. The food is mediocre at best and I was made to feel like an inconvenience because another customer wanted to pet my dog and she deemed it inappropriate. Definitely not worth a visit! Unfortunately the options are so limited in Goldau that people tend to support the restaurant regardless of the very poor service. Sad, because the staff try quite hard.

Incredibly friendly and nice staff! As a railway employee, I am often at the Bahnino. Good daily menus and other delicacies, at fair prices. A bistro that keeps up with the times and doesn't just offer the typical "Schnipo". I feel completely comfortable and satisfied there. RECOMMENDATION! for all travelers or from the surrounding area.

I was stuck at Arth Goldau station and Lorena at Bahnino Bistro went out of her way to help me! As a tourist, when someone is this nice, it really makes your day. I am so glad I stopped by. p.s. coconut icecream is delicious!

Waited over 20 minutes for a Quiche Lorraine to warm up in a practically empty restaurant. Almost missed the train in the end. Not so great. Otherwise nice place.

The Bistro Bahnino is a wonderful addition to the offerings around and in the Arth-Goldau train station. Great ambience, delicious offerings & very friendly service. Not only recommended for train stops. It is also worth going to the newly designed Bahnhofplatz especially for a bistro stay.

The Bistro Bahnino has become a popular place where people like to meet for a coffee or a small meal. It has seating inside and outside. Thanks to self-service, you can quickly find something to satisfy your hunger or thirst. Ideal at a train station!

Newly opened branch of the Pfenninger bakery in the spirit of a train station bistro. Nice selection of snacks and small meals to enjoy or take away. The vegetarian selection is okay, but not sensational. My tip: The very delicious spring rolls. Most of the staff are attentive and friendly and respond to customers' requests. Certainly a nice alternative to the Coop Pronto when stopping in Arth-Goldau or taking a short break.

Nice bistro, but not appropriate for the price/performance ratio for warm food.

Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right. Too little choice for the lunch table. Bratwurst with cold fried potatoes. Fried potatoes were baked potatoes. 15.50 CHF is way too expensive.

It's great that the Bahnino Bistro exists - it's an asset to the Arth-Goldau train station area. Good selection of food and drinks, friendly service, beautiful decor that invites you to linger.
