Very nice dinner and wine, excellent and friendly service. A gem to find in short distance of the train station. Portions were generous. We were there in early October and there were many game dishes on the menu.

We happened upon this restaurant whilst staying in Goldau and what a find it was!! As we approached a brass band was playing to celebrate the landlady's birthday which was fabulous and created an amazing atmosphere. The landlord greeted us very warmly and made the effort to speak english to us as our german was very poor. All staff were so friendly and efficient and the food and beer was delicious. I would recommend to anyone in the area, also worth a trip if you are a little further away.

While passing through Goldau, we had dinner in this very welcoming restaurant and we really liked it! The dishes are delicious and the staff are welcoming and very pleasant. Having really enjoyed it, we came back for lunch the next day and it was still as good as the day before! I recommend 💯

Can only warmly recommend this restaurant! The menu offers a lot and the food has a fine gourmet touch, which I preferred. The bar and the regulars' table as well as the beautifully converted wine cellar offer a first-class ambience for wine connoisseurs! The employees are extremely motivated and courteous. Generally very nice in every way. The food is good quality prepared well, all typical Swiss cuisine (solid and tasty), the staff are lovely and their glasscovered outdoor sitting is charming.. Prices above average but not crazy. Probably the best place to eat in this part of Kanton Schwyz.

The Cordon Bleu was super tasty and the “Imm gin” for the aperitif is recommended. The friendly service rounds off the cozy evening. I can only recommend the Gotthard in Goldau.

Group with approx. 40 guests on January 21st, 2023 for dinner and general meeting. "Normal menu": Various vegetables, wide noodles, sliced ​​meat with mushrooms and cream sauce. Vegetarian variant: Same menu, but without meat/mushrooms and cream sauce. No meat substitute, no sauce substitute. - Unbelievable and this in 2023!

The food was very fine. The restaurant is very child-friendly. At first we hesitated to enter the restaurant with three smaller children. We were also warmly welcomed on a Friday evening with a children's menu, booster seat and a changing table that was even equipped with toys. The staff was very warm and competent. Thank you!

The restaurant presents itself with high culinary standards and also expects the corresponding price. I go there for dinner with my family, sometimes with a larger group. It's a shame, especially for groups, that service and kitchen take longer than customers expect. Therefore only four stars. The food itself is always excellent.

Nice, friendly welcome and comfortable seating in the heated winter garden. The menu is extensive, there are different menus, vegetarian or with meat. The Spätzli pan was good, but a little underseasoned. The menus all come with a soup and salad, both of which tasted very good. Own parking spaces available. We paid 85 francs for 2 people and a vegetarian menu, without dessert and without wine. Rather a bit expensive, the price classification at 2 out of 4 dollars isn't quite right for me.

Gotthard is the best restaurant in Goldau and a worthy treat. We had the degustation menu which was both incredibly delicious and generous. Gluten-free spätzli is a thoughtful option we were very happy with. It's also so special to have 5 litre Amarone available by the glass. Highly recommend.

Nice location, good food, smoke in the wine cellar. Simpatici gerenti, motivated and friendly serving staff. I can only warmly recommend it. We've been holding our family meeting there for about 15 years, and will be there again next year, always in the glass pavilion. Keep it up Team Restaurant Gotthard.

The meals we ordered were very good. I liked very much that you can create your own hamburger by including desired set of ingredients. But what made our visit even better was the staff - the waiter was super nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place

Rigi based on the positive reviews.We were very pleased with the superb quality of the food and the warm welcome.The restaurant is about a 10 minute walk from the Arth-Goldau Mt. Rigi station.Well worth considering if you want a top quality lunch!£££ but really enjoyable .

Kleinlich, kleinlich! Ich wollte bei einem Mittagsmenü von über Fr. 50.-- ein Salätli anstelle einer Suppe. Dafür hätte ich sogar einen Aufpreis bezahlt. Dies war nicht "möglich". Wenn man Salat möchte, kann man nur gegen Gemüse tauschen. Diese Art von Kleinlichkeit erlebe ich nur in der Schweiz, und ich schäme mich für mein Land und dessen Gastronomie. Wer so kundenfeindlich agiert, darf sich nie beklagen, wenn die Leute unser Land als teuer und nicht gastfreundlich bezeichnen. Zum Glück gibt es in Goldau auch ganz tolle, kundenfreundliche Restaurants! :-)

Aus Anlass meines runden Geburtstag habe ich einen Herrenabend im Weinkeller organisiert. Der Apéro riche mit 12 Gängen war ausgezeichnet und von sehr hoher Qualität (u.a. Roastbeef, Tartar, Rauchlachsroulade, Thaicurryrisotto, SüssmostCreme). Der Weisswein (Heida) sowie der Rotwein (Thelygenie von A. Mathier) waren ein Vorschlag des Chefs und habrn sehr gut zu den Gerichten gepasst. Rundum ein gelungener Abend!

We stopped for lunch at this place. There is a menu for everybody, just sit, relax and eat. Food was ok, should try something different next time. It's worth stopping here. A bit pricey but once in a while it's ok.
