Excellent vegan salmon and cream cheese bagel and reasonably priced!

Nice place to hang-out with children.

So before I write this: This was s a review by someone not vegan who drinks vegan coffee drinks and eats vegan baked goods on occasion. The place looks super inviting and the staff are very friendly. However, I was passing and got a very mediocre almond croissant and a flat white I disliked so much I poured it out, for exactly 10.-.

Best bakery in Bern. Truly recommend it! Always fresh and tasty things to eat! Although i am not vegan i really like this bakery.

Soe and Ellena are great! Food was great! I probably had to freeze for 5 minutes because they wanted to ventilate.

Super delicious vegan food, great playroom (!!!) for children, co-working corner, but also cozy corners to chat or read a book and very friendly staff! The cinnamon rolls are my absolute favorite!

Great offer, everything is delicious too. Unfortunately, the prices are very high, especially for confectionery, and are therefore only worthwhile for true vegans. Clearly too expensive for non-vegans and not an attractive alternative.

A very cute café in the beautiful Länggass district. Everything on offer is vegan and the selection of pastries and drinks is really huge. It's all very tasty too. Unfortunately, the prices are really worth getting away with.

Dear Bakery Bakery Team, I actually always enjoy coming to you for coffee or pastries. Most of the time we go to Breitsch. Yesterday, Sunday October 15th, we went to the branch on Länggasse. The coffee and pastries were always delicious. Unfortunately, the service and the condition of the branch were really questionable. It was very dirty (lots of leftovers all over the floor and not a single table cleaned, old dishes on the tables and empty pet bottles on the floor) and I felt like the staff were overwhelmed. The brunch was also rather carelessly prepared (we were there around 1:30 p.m. It could also be that the brunch was already over...). The employee cleared the dishes and just cleaned this table. The others were not cleaned. It's actually a shame for a place like this, it wasn't that comfortable. The price-performance ratio is also not right for me. It would be nice if things were a little different in the future. But otherwise the staff were really very friendly.

A really cute place! A lovely spot in Bern where you can have brunch, drink a coffee, or simply have breakfast. Must to try: their special Jazmine pink milk! Prices are quite high, but the food is very well-made and the atmosphere is very nice...and it's all vegan!!!

I love what Bakery Bakery has to offer despite the very high prices. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to Länggasse. The atmosphere is great and the playroom is perfect for the little ones (that's why we went there). Unfortunately the employees were very unfriendly. We (5 adults and 2 small children) came today (Sunday) around 3:30 p.m. and ordered all sorts of things and were only informed when we ordered another one at 3:50 p.m. that the bakery was closing in 10 minutes. Well, we drank and ate everything straight away, the child had to be quickly changed (we can't do it in the... left the store sitting) and the playroom tidied up. We were outside at 4:04 p.m. and the employees were extremely annoyed and treated us unfriendly, even though we were obviously hurrying along. They could have simply informed us of the opening times in a friendly manner early on (e.g. when we first ordered at 3:30 p.m.), then this would not have been a problem. Too bad.

Are slow & even though there were several people there, there was only one person working behind the counter at 9am on a Saturday morning.

In an inspiring and warm setting, we enjoyed delicious chai lattes (hot and cold)

Very friendly staff and fantastic pastries! I've only tried the GinkenSipfel and a donut at the moment, but they were really very good and beautifully made! I'd love to come back!!

I ordered an aperitif for 15 people. The puff pastries and the various sandwiches were simply amazing, fresh and super delicious. The person in charge was very nice, courteous and helped me competently with the selection and quantity. I would be happy to order from you again!

Cool, relaxed coffee with very nice staff and really good baked goods. Everything vegan here... For families and children there is an indoor play room and for students and readers there is a great atmosphere :) Caffee fredo was really tasty!

The vegan salmon bagels are super delicious. And Carac is also vegan - like (!). Expensive yes, but that's what I'm used to in ZH.

Very tasty products and lots of choice. I've also brought croissants to friends (not vegan) and they said that the croissants are the best and much better than the "normal" ones. But the prices could be a little cheaper. Otherwise great😊

You’ll regret not visiting! There is so much variety, I was spoilt for choice. I tried one of the sandwiches and some of the pastries, they were incredible! The staff are very helpful and answered any questions I have. They also sell a range of vegan chocolates.

Very large selection and very friendly people working at the counter. There is a brunch menu on the weekend, you can also order individual items from the menu (such as granola or plaited bread).

The best vegan croissant I ever ate!

I was treated very unkindly (racist). The customers before and after me are greeted with a big smile and very nicely, but the second time it's my turn it's a completely different story. No greetings, not even looking in the eyes and treated very annoyed and unfriendly. Just because I look different!!!? Absolutely unacceptable!!!! I haven't felt so discriminated against in a long time. If you are against racism, then I would recommend that you take a close look at who you hire. But if you don't do that, I ask you to remove the picture against racism, because it doesn't fit together. Visit date: February 26, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.

Fine products, chai, turmeric and matcha latte. As a non-vegan, I really like the croissants. Donuts are generally a matter of taste, regardless of whether they are vegan or not. The fake salmon bagels are also great and very large. There is also a small shop with ceramics, chocolate and other vegan foods. However, the reason I only give this 3 stars is the extremely slow service. I planned 15 minutes more time on my way to the train station to get something to drink and eat and had to leave empty-handed because otherwise I would have missed the train. There was a single customer in front of me who had already had his food and was just waiting for a coffee. That wasn't very pleasant.

The brunch and all the other food and drinks on offer every day are simply incredibly delicious. Very very friendly employees :-) Nice place. Just a little expensive.

I loooved it here in the beginning. they have the best choco croissants! but unfortunately service is getting worse and worse. I always have to double check if I’m getting something to take away. it’s very expensive and I payed now several times too much, cause they started forgetting something. very annoying experience.

The chocolate and almond croissants are always good, and they have plenty of other options for sweet or savory vegan food. They have the worst coffee though, at least for my taste. On the expensive side. Dog friendly :) Service is just ok.

The baked goods are delicious but the waiting times are sometimes not for the impatient... I just can't understand why when there are 2 people there, only 1 person has to serve and also make the drinks... That just takes too long.

Very tasty nut croissants. Still wonderfully fresh from the day before. The cinnamon roll was also very tasty. Unfortunately not a cinnamon roll as we usually know it. It would be a very tasty nut roll. ;) It's a brilliant idea to sell last day's pastries at 50% off. The bakery looks very inviting, cozy and beautiful. It is very well attended and run with a lot of love. However, we were on the way to a lecture and took it on the way. :)

The vegan baked goods are highly recommended, but there is still room for improvement when it comes to coffee. Otherwise there is a good, exclusive range of drinks and food. However, the exclusivity also has its price.

Really yummy and well-presented food. The service is a little on the slow side but its definitely worth the extra little wait.

Chai latte with a minimalist foam head. It tastes good, but I find it weak. The prices for chocolate croissants and cinnamon rolls are too high for a mediocre taste.

Although I don't follow a vegan diet, I love the goods from Bakery Bakery. Definitely one of my favorite bakeries in Bern. Can only recommend it to all vegans and non-vegans. It is lovingly furnished, centrally located and has a large selection of drinks and food.

Actually, the taste and ambience etc. are all good (there are certainly small things that could be improved), but what would definitely have to change so that we would go again are the prices! 10.- for a sandwich where you have to look for the filling with a magnifying glass? 5.40 for a loaf of bread (not organic) is a bit questionable...

There’s a cute and more quiet room in the back for dates or work. 🤗 Other than that, it‘s the usually bakery bakery interior and product selection as they have in their other locations. Rather expensive but worth a visit.

i am happy that they sell the leftover baked goods for 50%. i got the leftover vanille cornet, vanille Berliner and schoggi Gipfeli. all are delicious and worth the money. taste just like non vegan one

Nice place. Nice service. Coffee has a very “hipstery” taste, sorry. ;) I'm more of a coffee nut and don't know much about all of these varieties and roasting processes. By "hipstery" I mean that fruity sour taste that's available in so many places now. It just doesn't taste like coffee to me. But who am I to judge this?

Amazing bakery with so many delicious sweet and savoury options and a great coffee. I've seeked it out because it's vegan and went there also with my non-vegan friend for lunch (take away though due to corona). And guess what - he really enjoyed his sandwich too 🤩 I just hope they'd expand to Basel soon!

Bakery Bakery's new location in the Langgässe is a 2-minute walk from the Bern's train station and 1 minute from the Uni. The place is spacious and offers all their pastries, cakes, sandwiches and bread. They currently only offer takeaways, but once the covid restrictions are lifted, you'll be able to work, meet-up and have cute dates at this hype location.
