One of the places where you can still find 'Schlumbärgerli'. Large and very good selection of sandwiches - great. Good coffee. Unfortunately, today I was advised to stay away from this coffee. A pity!

Basically, I like coming to this bakery, but last time I visited, unfortunately the selection was very limited in the early afternoon and the "mini tart" that I ordered with the coffee didn't taste that tasty (taste is of course always a very individual thing) and what's more I couldn't get it out of the aluminum baking pan, which made eating quite difficult. The coffee was delicious and beautifully presented.

I already have a lot of Joohre's bread from the Meier bakery. Freshly delivered every day from the baker or from the boss directly to us. Our shop and I are always very happy and I'm always amazed at how long the bread stays fresh. This is very important in a restaurant. I always have three or four types. All bread is very, very good. Pries/Leischtig's bakery is perfect. And there the same motto is used as it is with us: "Live and let live" I buy some bread and the two bosses always come over to eat with us. Very nice bakery in a quiet area. Here the hustle and bustle of the city is far away. Drinks are served at a few tables and if you want, you can accompany them with very good patisserie. Recommended place and extremely friendly staff.

Good café with really fine baked goods. There are daily newspapers available, which is great and has no longer been taken for granted since Corona. Personally, I miss the variety (whole grain breads/rolls). Unfortunately, milk coffees (bowls) are served in the same cups as the coffee cream, i.e. in ones that are too small.

I always like going there. It's not around the corner from me. But it's worth it. The staff is always very friendly and incredibly patient. With so many delicious and fresh products that the bakery offers, I always need time to decide. The malt bread and the spelled plait are highly recommended. Actually everything.

We were very satisfied. The baked goods look great and taste delicious. The latte macchiatto was great and there was also a small water and heart chocolate. The cafe still has some seating in the back and for the summer also some nice seats in the front of the biulding. Der staff was really friendly.

The bakery itself is nice, it has a great selection and what I've consumed so far has been pretty tasty. But the reason why I will no longer enter this location is that I observed how the boss treated an employee. The boss criticized the employee in a highly unprofessional and nasty tone. The boss didn't notice that I was there. This was a very unpleasant situation for the employees, as well as for me. Maybe this business should take a crash course in “communication and giving constructive feedback,” because that kind of behavior is unacceptable to me. It's a shame, because when she noticed that I was there, she immediately acted as a friendly waitress. I wonder what else is going on behind the scenes.

Hey dudes, this is the best bakery in Basel. Nice location. Top offer in the showcase. You feel comfortable there. Very good, friendly and courteous service and the boss's mom is also there. The selection of wines and champagne is also very well maintained. I was very surprised to find this in a coffee in Basel. I am convinced that the young boss, Gabi Meier (dressed in black), will make this beautiful coffee even more successful. I'm always happy to come back when time allows. I'm really looking forward to my next visit.

Perfect down to the gold spoon. Just the right place for coffee and coissant on a Saturday morning. It was a spontaneous visit to Basel. If I were closer, I would probably go there more often.

Our guests ( Bohrerhof Allschwil) ask us every day where we get our good bread from. Here you give the bread time to develop, which means it stays fresh longer, which is particularly important in restaurants. So we can recommend this bakery with a clear conscience.
