Bakery Weibel AG in Sursee

Our table for eight people was reserved as requested. We were able to talk undisturbed. Our classmate from the canton of Friborg was very happy to meet us so spontaneously in Weibel after many years. Thanks to the Weibel team.

To all the idiots, you don't HAVE to go to a self-service coffee shop. Admittedly, it's not cheap.

Unfortunately, the Weibel at the train station always smells like diapers. A diaper pail and a comfortable shelf for the changing table would be appropriate. Otherwise great for families too :)

The planted sandwich was excellent! After years of only being able to eat vegan bread rolls, this really enriches my life

They have by far the best cheese tarts I have ever eaten. The staff and service are also very friendly. The coffee tasted excellent. The location itself is very clean, bright and cool. I found the terrace very pleasant. This location deserves 5 stars. I'd love to come back immediately!

Lots of selection of pastries and very fresh. I find the prices, especially for lunch menus and small products such as cocoa, tea, etc., too expensive. Friendly staff and very clean. 🍰

Actually a great bakery, friendly service and a great location. Unfortunately, it's a shame that there are no vegan options for the sweet baked goods. For a bakery of this size and image, they are a bit behind on this point.

As a first experience, this bakery seems extremely average to me. Starting with the charm of the facility, through the quality and enjoyment factor of the cappuccino and croissants to the offering. Furthermore, the size of the restaurant is a deterrent, especially when compared to the minimal capacity of the toilets. After all, the service is above average friendly and attentive.

The best corn croissants we've ever had. Great cafe with a small play area. We like to come back again and again. The waitresses have always been friendly.

Craftsmanship and pride... none! Patisserie from a major distributor makes more sense.

I have never seen such large almond peaks. In my opinion, the price disclosure regulation was also complied with. Why does the dear man only give one star? Because Corona seems to be unknown to the staff. How come? Because the staff wets their fingers in their mouths to remove packaging material. At least that's how I perceived it. For me an absolute NO GO!!!

The concept of self-service is strange and somewhat spoils the friendly nature of the coffee. The coffee tasted good, but the piece of Sachertorte was, on the one hand, already dried out around the edges and, on the other hand, it mainly tasted like aroma. A pity. :-(

...I've been a customer for years and the mandolinos are really great, but lately they've been spending too much time in the oven and getting (too) dark 😢 - please let them out earlier...!!!!

Nice & cozy place. Unfortunately, the taste of the Black Forest cake is far from the norm, there is no taste of kirsch and it is quite sweet - some things could be changed in terms of taste.

There are various fine breads and desserts here. There are various seating areas inside and outside to create a fine café. The staff is friendly and courteous. Parking spaces are located directly on the street or at the train station.

A bakery that is second to none. It is always very busy and always has fresh baked goods on offer. The mandolinos (almond peaks) are the best I've ever had. We'll be happy to come back.

Nice, big cafe. As a tea drinker you will find a good selection of open tea. Fine almond peak (Mandolino). The self-service takes some getting used to, reminiscent of the GDR.

It's not scandalous to charge 5.80Chf for a sandwich. However, offering bread with 2 strips of butter and 2 slices of ham for this price is very questionable. I have already told the nice lady about this. Savings are good, but please in the right places and not on the products.

This Sunday, January 9th, 2022, I was at Weibel in the afternoon. I ordered a piece of Swedish cake and a coffee with COLD milk. The young woman who served me at the counter was unfriendly and couldn't even conjure up a small smile. The coffee came without milk. Either she didn't understand me, even though I was clear and precise, or she doesn't speak German. Or she just didn't feel like it. The cake was ok. But this service gave me the feeling of “not being welcome here”. Thanks for opening on Sunday, on a day when Sursee is really deserted.

This is the third time there has been a hair in my menu. Not only did I have a hair in the menu today, but there was also a hair in the packaging bag. No gloves, no hairnet on the head = no hygiene in the company! You've lost your appetite.

Best croissants in Sursee. Even though there are other bakeries closer to home, I always go here on Sunday mornings

We bought a strawberry-raspberry slice and a tiramisu slice and were looking forward to it. Unfortunately it was a disappointment in terms of taste. I very much doubt that the products were freshly made. Not recommended !!!
