Absolutely mediocre. Croissants & rolls have a strong yeast flavor.

I wanted to buy a cake or get advice, but the employee didn't feel like giving me any advice and was very unfriendly, like buying something and getting out of here. Very unprofessional if you don't feel like working in this industry you should think about changing careers.

The service was good, the food was generally good, unfortunately you don't check the products where you offer them so certain products are expired, such as the mustard see photo. And hygiene when eating is not as important as it is with the waffle iron, for example, see photo in the appendix.

The bakery brunch was sensational and very varied. From braids to rösti to beef filler and homemade jam, there was nothing missing. For this unbeatable price there was even champagne and cappucino at no extra charge, that's great and contrary to our expectations. We were able to experience a stress-free and very child-friendly brunch with a 9m toddler and a very good child seat. But the absolute top thing about the brunch was our super friendly service, which was simply great. Unfortunately, we weren't used to this from the "new Bangerter" in the past. All in all a very positive surprise. Thank you for everything...

Cozy environment to grab a coffee before work.

The food was very good. The only thing that bothered me was that the sun blind was broken (it had been for a long time) and it was quite hot. There was also a lot going on and therefore very loud.

Great and delicious brunch. Although strangely something went wrong with the reservation, a table was quickly found for us. The only shame for us was that the cheerful chef was reprimanded several times not to be so loud, which didn't bother us at all, on the contrary ;)

Food was great. Service was also good. Ambiance is okay, but the infrastructure needs to be renewed. Broken roller shutters, resulting in strong heat development due to sunlight.

Terrible place. We were turned away from the restaurant because we had a small dog with us. The 2kg Yorkie, who was sleeping in a bag, was described as a “health hazard”. What kind of juice shop is this in 2024?

We like to come to Lausen to Bangerter, if we are nearby a visit is a must! Friendly staff and the products, whether sweet or salty, are all a delight. I can also recommend brunch on Sunday with a large buffet and the price is TOP! Card payment no problem.

Good pastries .Mostly there staff though that doesn't know its way around well. It's impossible to deal with dogs. They're not allowed in the coffee, but a dog basket is placed in front of the door. Which dog owner leaves his dog in front of the entrance and goes out for a leisurely coffee 🐕absolutely no go and therefore not of interest even as a bakery

We like to get fine braids on the weekend, especially the Winston braid because of the fun shape. The café and shop are modern and easily accessible. We always find a parking space. The salt wains continue to inspire us. Our insider tip is the pumpkin waie.

Unfortunately, Sunday brunch is disappointing for people with lactose intolerance. There are no lactose-free dairy products. The only thing I could get was a COLD chocolate with oat milk - according to the staff, a hot drink is not possible (why?). The range should definitely be brought up to date (allergy sufferers, etc.). Furthermore, the staff seemed disorganized, we had to wait a long time for our drinks and some were even forgotten.

We were disappointed once again when eating the coupe. Of the 4 types of ice cream that should have been included in the coupe, 3 types were missing. Not to mention the other ingredients No hazelnuts, no banana pieces in there. It wasn't the first time we were disappointed. The vanilla ice cream is always missing - that can't be right.

Dear management, we have been loyal to you for many years, but since the last time and today we will no longer be coming. That was the bottom drawer of the catering industry, dirty tables whether inside or outside, overwhelmed and untrained staff added to that. The waiting time to order is beyond imagination - 30 minutes. Until the desired product was on the table and then another 55 minutes. It was only 2 coups and a drink.!!! It's a shame that the ice cream is diverse Iced varieties are actually very unpleasant to eat. What a pity.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the bakery for allergy sufferers. I drove by this morning to pick up breakfast and the selection for people with milk allergies (no dairy products) is minimal. Found two dry rolls. Dear Bangerter team - it doesn't have to be milk and butter everywhere. A general revision of what is offered would be desirable.

Need to revise review from 5 years ago. Sunday brunch. Braid top, Rösti flop. Staff totally overwhelmed and uncoordinated. Maybe too little. I can not judge over this. Unfortunately a negative... -Was informed at least 3 times when ordering the lunch menu (12:10 p.m.) that the menu was unfortunately sold out. -Apparently there are no more coupes on Sunday?? Since when? - The selection of patisserie decreases rapidly more than 4 hours before closing time. - Some employees are untrained and have little idea what exactly their job is. -Sometimes very long waiting times in the cafe. - Unfortunately, the härzige Beckerei in Itingen was also closed. - Some service staff are unfriendly and don't know how to serve guests. I think those are the biggest complaints. I'll leave the little things alone and therefore give it 2 stars (previously 5) We hope that Bangeter can improve the quality again and train the employees.

Only if you have a lot of time and don't necessarily want the drink with the food. After about 25 minutes and our plates were empty, we finally ordered a coke and a beer. After waiting again, at least the cola came with the request to pour it yourself. Unfortunately I never saw my beer. When I expressed my dissatisfaction while paying, I got a rude answer. We ordered open tea. For one glass, fill the tea strainer full with herbs, enough for a whole liter of tea. The tea was bitter so I ordered more hot water, which came half an hour later. The waitress wasn't interested in whether the tea was ready to drink, even though she bought it several times and saw that I wasn't drinking anything. The strawberry tarts taste like cardboard!!!! A bakery that doesn't even make the floors themselves. Please bakers there, try the bases. In the end we had to go to the counter to pay, where we were simply ignored and the staff behind the counter simply continued to argue even though we were waiting. So never again. I also work in service, if I worked like that I wouldn't have a job anymore. Too bad for the money.

I can only agree with Kris Schneeberg on every single point! I also know from my own sources what is going on there and how to deal with the employees. It's really indescribable... The range and quality have decreased every day since the branch managers quit. New branches are opened without hiring new employees. Work 8 days straight, then take a day off and despite the early shift you have to work longer because there is such a lack of staff. What is expected of the employees here is inhumane. Last but not least, I would like to say a few words to GL: Your behavior towards your valued customers is the most unprofessional I have experienced in a long time. What is the most important point when being criticized? You acknowledge, accept the criticism and take it seriously, you apologize, offer to make amends and do better in the future. That's the one thing, the business world. And yes, I went to school, so you don't have to insult me. I know you like to do it, but it never goes over well.

Far too overpriced, hardly any friendly staff (especially the older generation), every day things are thrown into the trash that could be used for better purposes, e.g. donations to aid organizations, employees are taken advantage of in the best possible way. In addition, the bread is almost no longer edible after just one day. Overall, the last visit.

We went to Bangerter with my daughter to eat ice cream. The waitress didn't even dare to serve us, much less clear the table (full of plates and cups). After 20 minutes of waiting, we just left... really shameful. I will never set foot in there again due to great inconsideration towards the customers.

The products offered are okay, but there are definitely better and more creative bakeries. By the way, Bangerter is not recommended for vegetarians. The brunch was very good. Rich selection of pastries, meat products and juices. Actually how you imagine it. The bratwurst, bacon and hash browns could have been a little warmer. It's a shame that a service employee was unreasonable and lacked friendliness and the conditions left something to be desired when we asked for another table because the light from the lamp was brighter than the other lamps. It was really blinding.

Nice coffee and bakery, good for a quick bite

After my request to get the latte macchiato with half cold milk, this was immediately upgraded so that I can now give the full 5 stars again.

The worst stomach bread I have ever bought/eaten. Has nothing much to do with stomach bread, dry & doesn't taste fresh at all & no taste of the traditional stomach bread. Same with the bread, ok in the evening & hard & very dry the next morning. I wonder if this loaf of bread was even fresh when I bought it. Unfortunately I have to say that Coop's bread tastes much better to me and is still edible even after 2 days. It's a shame ☹️

I occasionally order larger quantities of sandwiches from Bangeter for business meetings. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with my last order. When I picked it up, I noticed that some of the sandwiches were not the smaller and cheaper sandwiches that I had ordered (by phone). I immediately pointed this out to the sales staff, but it was made clear to me that I had ordered these exact sandwiches. Back at work, I checked the order again against the Bangeter sandwich list and discovered that it wasn't the type of sandwich I ordered. So I decided to point this out again in a friendly manner (via email). Unfortunately, I have not received any feedback on this email to date, which disappoints me a bit. Of course, incorrectly delivered sandwiches are not the end of the world, but I would have expected at least an apology with a short explanation. PS: The sandwiches were good as always. ADDENDUM 1 MONTH LATER: To date, no one has contacted me.

Terryble service, 40 minutes for an orange juice. They didn’t want to serve us warm food because it is Sunday they said but another Sunday with a Swiss friend they served us…I don’t recommend this place at all.
