The food was excellent and the price was also affordable for what we got. Unfortunately there were very few croquettes to go with the Leberli with croquettes. In the future it would be nice if there were more of them on the plate. With the cordonbleu we had fries and also croquettes, as they are really very tasty. But here too, unfortunately there are very few of them. You could probably order more, but I assume (personal opinion) that these are generally a bit limited in number/quantity.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Bannholz Restaurant and we really enjoyed it. From start to finish we felt very comfortable and accommodating. The staff was extremely attentive and very loving. Our dish was also very tasty and of very good quality. We are already looking forward to coming back. It's definitely a restaurant we can recommend to everyone.

I've never had a more bland sauce for this fantastic meat. Spaetzle, sauerkraut... everything was very tasty. Unfortunately the sauce was unseasoned, limp and bland, probably the Knorr brown sauce powder from Aligro

Good food, service was slightly overloaded (about an hour wait until the food was there) because we went out to eat something for lunch on Sunday. The food, on the other hand, was freshly prepared, mostly seasonal and overall very good. I'd love to come back.

The Cordonbleus are legendary, there's nothing more to write about! Comment from my 19 year old grandson: brilliantly good (with chilli) and so big that he took a third home with him! Today I chose the boiled beef with apple horseradish, bouillon vegetables, leaf spinach and buttered parsley potatoes. The three slices of lean meat were at least as tender as a well-seasoned beef fillet only tastier, in short, a poem. I haven't eaten something so commonplace in such excellent quality for a long time and at a very reasonable price. My rating for it is 6 stars. The attentive and very friendly service also deserves praise. As a guest at the Bannholz you feel completely at home. Thank you, it was a nice Sunday afternoon.

We arrived at the Bannholz restaurant at 11:30 a.m. All places in the sun and with a view were reserved. We assumed for people coming for lunch. Because we only wanted a coffee and a piece of cake anyway and didn't plan on staying long, we asked if we could still sit in the sun at one of the reserved tables. The landlady didn't react particularly kindly, but then granted us this when we assured us that we would leave again at 11:45, i.e. before the guests arrive at 12 o'clock. When two more guests, who we assumed were the guests who had made reservations, arrived at around 11:40 a.m., we offered to make room and move to the vacant table next door. The landlady then snapped at us in a harsh tone: “Ah no, you’re going to talk anyway!” We finally paid for our coffees and cakes at 11:50 a.m. and got up straight away. We released the reserved table 10 minutes before the reservation. As we were leaving, we mentioned to the landlady that the harsh tone from before and the sentence “you don't have to mouth anyway” didn't have to be there. Finally, thanks to us, the landlady had earned money within 20 minutes with little effort and we released the table early enough. Of course, she then hit us even more harshly and she said you wanted to leave at 11:45 a.m., but now it's already 11:50 a.m. When it comes to the hospitality and economic thinking of the wait staff, there is still room for improvement at Restaurant Bannholz. It's a shame, because the view is beautiful and the food is supposed to be very good.

Absolutely great! The kitchen is very prompt! The Cordonbleus are simply amazing! We were there with our Harley group of almost 20 people! Everyone had their food on the table in less than 30 minutes! (of course by advance order) but also the service staff was great! Great praise! Will definitely recommend you to others! We went for lunch with the family (2E, 3K) on a Wednesday lunchtime during the fall break. The restaurant seemed well staffed, but not overly crowded. The reservation went well and we were assigned our table quickly. But then we waited 10 minutes until we got the menus and could order the drinks. The drinks were delivered quickly and we were able to place our food order straight away. Then it took a whole hour for our food to be served. It was only when serving that the staff noticed that a children's menu had run out and was therefore missing! Alternatives were offered, but of course with a corresponding waiting time. Our wine order was also forgotten. There is significant potential for improvement here, especially with children such a long waiting time is tedious and annoying. We didn't have any special requests. Nevertheless, the food we ordered tasted excellent, the price-performance ratio was okay, the portions were decently sized and the service was always friendly and apologized for the problems. We will definitely come back there and hope for a smoother experience next time.
