We made a short drive on purpose to come and discover new flavors... NO REGRET When I read some comments that say it’s expensive, cold etc… For our part, everything is prepared by hand and well presented (we ate there), it's normal that it's not free either. There are plenty of choices of different formulas for all tastes. The adorable, smiling staff, who explain what's in it, attentive to food allergies, all the meats are 100% Swiss, the prices are correct for the quality that we are served on our plate. If we are sad when we arrive, we feel warm when we leave ❤️ thanks to all these smiles and laughter

The menus are affordable and very good. The only downside is that the baos, like the ravioli, are sometimes dry on the edges when you come at 2 p.m. or after.

I liked that the person who took my order was very friendly. What I don't like, however, is the price-performance ratio. The combination of two mini baos, a very tiny portion of edamame & an ultra-watery iced tea that they make themselves to take away cost 22.50 (without bag & tip). In my opinion, the portion is only enough for a small hunger. The edamame portion would cost 7 Sfr individually and it's not even a handful or around 20 pieces - I think that's really overpriced, especially because it's also self-service and take away. The food tasted okay but not great either. The bao was very cold (I usually know that at least the bun is warm) & the filling was rather bland for my taste. I also thought it was a shame that there was only one vegetarian option for the fillings. Conclusion: For my taste, there are better alternatives for a delicious lunch in the area

1st BAO experience, took the chicken one and the shrimp one with cucumbers on the side. The taste was really excellent, a pleasant culinary discovery. However 22.5 CHF the menu a bit expensive I was hungry in the two hours that followed

I ordered a shrimp ramen through Ubereats and I couldn't even eat it because it was so salty. If I had ordered it locally I would have returned it. They should try what they serve to the customer. It was my first time at Bao Boys and I won't be returning. I do not recommend at all.

Good food, but poor organization and not enough staff. The tables are dirty, we waited more than 30 minutes. Bao Boys was better before.

The employees do their best but there are 2 of them to manage the orders and the kitchen. So endless waiting, empty drinks fridge, dirty tables (luckily the customers clear their trays themselves). It's a shame !

Clearly the best Bao I have eaten, there are various options on the menu, some more tempting than the others, the drinks and desserts are just as delicious. The waiter welcomes you warmly with super friendly service, it’s very pleasant! Without a doubt a mandatory stopover if you come to Neuchâtel!

Great discovery in Neuchâtel, I didn't know about bao and I was pleasantly surprised. I took an M menu with a pork bao and a tuna bao, a cucumber salad and edamame. The bao both had an excellent sauce, slightly spicy and the combinations were super good.

First I have to highlight the friendliness and kindness of the owner, he is a very good seller and the product accompanies. Then the food is inexplicable, the chicken melts well spiced, the bread is perfect, I'm not a fan of vegetables but the cucumber salad mmmm very good anyway, I can only say good things about this place, it is incredibly good. As soon as I arrived, the welcome was incredibly warm, and the chef was very kind and gave us very good advice. The service was impressively fast, and the food was truly delicious. I recently had the pleasure of dining at BAO BOYS restaurant and would like to express my gratitude for the warm welcome and excellent service provided by the team. The staff were extremely nice, friendly and present throughout our meal, which really made our experience memorable. Their tact in service and attention to detail was impressive. The baos were delicious, with a variety of toppings that satisfied all tastes in our group.
