Bar Laura in Lugano

I had a drink in the afternoon. Staff friendly, but not particularly attentive. The place needs a good overhaul.

First time in Switzerland, a friend who lives nearby took me. Very nice bar, but the thing that struck me was the friendliness and professionalism of the waiters. They recommended me a very good beer. Overall I was very satisfied!

Bar in a tactical area in the center of Lugano, exactly under/behind the Balestra car park. Passing between the big migros and all the offices. Plenty of places to sit both inside and outside, friendly and quick service waiters. Decent coffee. Higher price than all the other bars

Entrance crowded with people standing and chatting without masks. Beer served without foam because it was left there for several minutes before being brought to the table. Waitress serving customers not in order when ordered. Ridiculous aperitif (see photo). It used to be a nice place...manager, do something! . Update 12.24.2022 I forgot and came back: - flat beer, - thick chocolate that wasn't thick, - embarrassing aperitif appetizers.

I have been frequenting the Laura bar for 10 years. This is why I give three stars, otherwise I would have given less. Unfortunately lately I'm no longer very comfortable. 40 francs worth of beers, brought us two olives and a small aperitif (which we had to request). It's a shame, once upon a time the service was much more attentive to the customer.

A very quiet place, clean and airy environment, good and diverse food, good service, accessible for wheelchair users, excellent hygiene, helpful service, easy access.

The quality of the food and the coffee is ok, however the service is demanding. They don't accept credit cards

During the day, an excellent place for coffee breaks or quick meals (excellent piadina). In the evening, a fantastic meeting place with friends and beers, always lively and cheerful.

Very nice bar, there aren't many seats but if you go during a rush hour you can easily reserve. The environment is very welcoming, the prices are not very cheap but for Lugano this is perfectly normal. Easy to reach (if I'm not mistaken near the bar there is a multi-storey car park and a post office bus station) and the music isn't loud at all: you can have a conversation without having to shout. The bathrooms are very clean.

Very interesting bar when it comes to the internal environment, decorations and sound system, if we want to talk about the service and the cuisine, we'd better not comment ... if you just pass by for the shot while listening to one of the current commercial songs it suits us .. mainly if you have time to spend .. on the contrary, forget about it! place completely very very badly organized, distracted and unfriendly waiters ... unfortunately this is what I think! you go and get rid of your doubts ...

Guys, if you don't know how to spend the end of the evening.......at Bar Laura you will always find it open 7/7 Youthful atmosphere, ok music and TIP TOP staff In Lugano when everything is closed here you can find beer, chocolate and food until late. Waiters, bartenders and bosses ok........well done everyone, keep it up!!!!!!

Non andateci, servizio estremamente lento, è troppo frequentato e non assumono abbastanza personale. La gestione del locale è mediocre a dir poco, andate altrove, non per niente l'età media della clintela del locale si è abbassata drasticamente. Ci andavo solo per la compagnia ma farò in modo che non ci andremo più, per i motivi sopracitati.

Locale molto carino, pulito e con un ambiente piacevole. L’attesa per i cocktail non è eccessiva data la grande affluenza di persone che arrivano alla sera. Piccola nota dolente è la musica, che è sempre migliorabile. Il personale in generale è abbastanza disponibile e gentile, ma il grande merito va a MICHELA che è sempre sorridente, solare, molto dinamica e coinvolge sempre tutti. Quindi il bar senza di lei è niente, lei è l’energia del locale.

Il posto molto carino, prezzi giusti, alcune volte c’è da aspettare ma penso che sia normale per tutti i clienti che ci sono ogni volta. Vorrei fare i complimenti alla cameriera Michela per essere: dinamica, molto sorridente e simpatica.

Bar con ambiente bellissimo, ma servizio lentissimo. Per due birre abbiamo atteso 27 minuti. Il bar non era nemmeno molto pieno.

Posto carino, se non fosse che il servizio è pessimo, il barista e la cameriera che limonano dietro il bancone facendoti aspettare il drink per u quarto d ora.per di più il barista tra un servizio e l l'altro versa in bocca al cameriere il Montenegro direttamente dalla bottiglia. Ci vado quasi tutti i giorni in compagnia di amici. Buona la colazione, caffè e brioches ottime. Per pranzo una grande scelta, dalle insalate a panini molto gustosi.Per gli aperitivi molti stuzzichini. Tutti i cocktail a 10.- fatti molto bene. Prezzi onesti e qualità molto buona. Camerieri molto gentili e simpatici. I migliori, assolutamente consigliato.

Arrivati al Laura verso le 17.30 il cameriere ci ha detto di sederci dove volevamo. Quindi ci siamo seduti su un tavolo da 4, ma eravamo solo in 2. Abbiamo ordinato una piadina e una coca e, prima che arrivasse la piadina ci ha chiesto di incassare come se dovessimo scappare da un momento all’altro...Spendendo 17 fr. Dopo un’ora ci hanno detto, con la scusa del Covid, che dovevamo lasciare il tavolo libero per altre persone e volendo potevamo andare dentro in un tavolo piccolo. Ci siamo sentiti sfrattati, anche perché abbiamo speso una cifra alta calcolando che c è gente che resta lo stesso tempo ordinando solo due caffè!Servizio pessimo. Mai più!

Mi sono recato al Bar Laura che ha ospitato una serata informativa sulla Cappadocia su proposta della Compagnia del Relax dell'amico Enrico Radrizzani, specialista di viaggi. Il responsabile del locale é Reto che é una persona solare ed ospitale che ha sviluppato un ambiente familiare e crea spesso ottimi eventi. Ottimo il servizio é bella la frequentazione di questo bel locale luganese!

Ubicato nelle vicinanze dell'autosilo, ben frequentato specialmente nella stagione estiva, possibilità di pranzare e aperitivo molto attraenti. Evidentemente vista su palazzi ma almeno un po' lontano dal traffico

Premetto che ci sono stata sola una volta, di recente. Forse era la serata sbagliata,ma mi sono trovata malissimo. Era stra pienisssssimo (tutti ragazzi di massimo 18 o 20anni) e quindi per questo motivo il personale (un ragazzo in particolare) era stressato e soprattutto sgarbato. Un cameriere in particolare era estremamente maleducato ed arrogante. Rispondeva alle richieste guardando in cagnesco e non lasciandoti finire di parlare. E quando abbiamo aspettato 20min per 4 birre mica siamo andati a stressarlo, anzi! Però fuori col suo gruppo di amici era tutto simpatico. Ho notato musi lunghi anche sul resto del personale ma come detto sarà stata la serata. La musica è pessima (ma sono gusti) e trovo che sia un posto più adatto a ragazzi giovani e giovanissimi. Chi è in cerca di un ambiente "più maturo e accogliente" dovrebbe andare altrove. Comunque, a leggere le recensioni, non siamo gli unici ad esserci trovati male con lo staff...

La capacità di rinnovarsi pur rimanendo fedele a se stessi! Ottimo per un aperitivo, dove ti portano sempre degli stuzzichini, o per un pranzo veloce. Prezzi decenti

Bar vicino al centro e all'autosilo. L'ho trovato abbastanza caro per qualità e quantità. Metto 3 stelle perché il locale comunque è carino e particolare. Cameriera scortese, mentre il ragazzo è stato molto gentile.
