We visited the restaurant twice for lunch. There is a vegetarian, meat and grill menu, which always includes soup or salad and a dessert. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly.

But we were then able to negotiate 8 pieces, meaning every third of us was allowed a dessert. You probably don't need to make the guests happy... Next time I'd rather go to a restaurant that is grateful for guests. Enjoyed a wonderfully pink fried steak as the main course. Very attentive and friendly service at all times (despite the restaurant being full - lots of guests, which is very pleasing). Tip: reserve a seat, otherwise it may be difficult to find a free table. I'll be happy to come back to you at the next event in about 3/4 years.

I would have loved to try the spinach burger, but ended up with the tuna, which was wonderfully tender. The staff is also very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is festive but cozy. Only the salad dressing was a bit disappointing as it was bland. There was fantastic bread for that! Fresh, crispy and airy and smelled hearty and fresh! We couldn't get enough of it!

Ce soir-là ce fut mon choix et j’ai bien apprécié sa cuisson à point avec son accompagnement de frites allumettes maison. En entrée, une belle salade mêlée et en dessert, une succulente boule de glace caramel à la fleur de sel. À relever le choix de vins de la région comme vins ouverts même si leur prix est à l’avenant (8.- le dl). Service pro et sympathique même si on a dû beaucoup attendre (bon, nous étions nombreux!).

Wartezeit zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang rund 1 Stunde. Nach Domizilwechsel in die Bar, welche eine der schönsten ist in der Gegend, war es mit dem Bestellen wieder recht anstrengend. Der Kellner stellte sich an den Rand der Runde und fragte, ob noch alles gut sei....( gemeint war aber, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten) Der Wunsch nach Feierabend lag in der Luft;) Die Rechnung flatterte dann auf den Tisch mit der Bemerkung: können Sie mal schauen, wer was bezahlt? Wir haben in 4 stunden für Fr.1‘200.00 gegessen und getrunken. Ist da die Erwartung zu gross, dass der Kellner Paarweise einkassiert, statt uns alles selber ausrechnen zu lassen? Jeder kann sich seine eigene Meinung bilden, wir waren aber ziemlich erstaunt und auch enttäuscht. Schade, denn das Essen war nämlich trotz der saftigen Preise ( Rindsfilet Stroganoff im Suppenteller !!! angerichtet für Fr. 52.00) sehr fein.

Wie sind häufiger hier und deshalb wissen wir dass der Service und die Küche immer gut ist. Aufmerksames freundliches Personal. Offene Küche wo die Gäste in hineinsehen können. Bar mit tollem Fumoir. Nicht zu grosse Karte aber gut ausgewählte Speisen und für jedem etwas dabei. Das Restaurant hat einen edles Ambiente ohne das man sich underdressed oder overdressed fühlt.

Das Baulüüt überrascht einem bei jedem Besuch. Wir waren gestern mit unserem 2jährigen Cousin dort und er wurde von A bis Z verwöhnt. Am Schluss durfte er sogar in die Küche um zu schauen wie seine Glace ausgestochen wird. Mein Schweinssteak vom Nierstück mit Kartoffelgratin war perfekt und das selbstgemachte Eis (weisse Schokolade und Salted Caramel) eine Sünde mehr als wert. Der Service ist jedesmal 1A. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Vorspeise war eine Süsskartoffelcremesuppe, welche geschmacklich sensationell war! Kleine, aber nur kleine Kritik. Die junge Kellnerin mit den dunklen/schwarzen Haaren, darf ruhig mehr lachen und Einsatz zeigen. Jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag,ja...aber dennoch könnte man sich etwas anstrengen.
