Be Heroes in Schlieren

We had de Poinz voucher for all-you-can-eat sushi. As a starter we got a soup or spring rolls, followed by a big plate of sushi. After this plate we could order what we wanted. Food was good. Maybe the first plate could be a bit smaller, so people can order what they like. Now it can be that people do not eat all what is on the plate, it is a pity to waste food.

Loved the all you can eat sushi (with a 50% off deal) - definitely had plenty and great quality. Very friendly staff and nice comfy place, and super location right by the train station. Will come by again and try other things off the menu :)

Very good food, we always use it as take-away. Price is very good for Zurich. Vegetables are fresh and the amount of food you get is great. As a regular customer it's always nice to have friendly service personal that will recognise and you and greet you. Absolutely recommended.

We had the sushi menu or the DeinDeal offer here. That was generally okay, but I found it a bit of a shame that the first round was “mandatory” since the sushi consisted more of rice than anything else. All in all, we had the feeling that the deal was very well calculated and I wouldn't order it for the normal price. I can recommend other dishes here.

Unfortunately very disappointing. We went here for a sushi all you can eat POINZ deal. The soy sauce is incredibly salty and barely edible, ruining the experience. This is probably intended to encourage more drinks to be consumed, but that's too much of a good thing. I would strongly advise against it!

My last visit to a restaurant didn't really convince me. The quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff varied greatly depending on who was on duty. Sometimes the food tasted okay, but other times it just wasn't good - like you forgot to use spices. The service was also inconsistent, sometimes quick and attentive, sometimes less interested. Overall, the restaurant couldn't offer a consistently positive experience. I would only give it one star and recommend thinking carefully before deciding to eat there.

Review: I visited be heroes for lunch and the experience was a real pleasure. The food was delicious and tasty, and the service was impeccable. The two of us were warmly welcomed by lovely Feven at 5:35 p.m. We ordered momos and papaya salad as starters, duck and tom kai gah soup as mains. Finally, Tiramisu Desert. The food was a delight for the palate and the eye. The other guests were polite and in a happy mood. We had a good time and enjoyed the modern Asian vibe at Be Heros.

Saucy food, higher service and fresh and homemade sushi

We were there last night. We had made a reservation for 7:30 p.m. and were brought to the table. After that, we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to us to take our drink order. After the drinks and the starter order, we had to wait 20 minutes for the starter. We waited 30 minutes for the first sushi plate that we didn't choose ourselves. Tasteful: quite ok. Afterwards we ordered our first round of 12 pieces of sushi and had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes. When the food finally got here, the sushi was warm and didn't taste good. We didn't feel like waiting anymore so we paid and then left. I will never go there again. PS: The restaurant wasn't full and everyone who came before us got their food before us. There was even a customer who fell asleep because she had to wait so long for soup. We paid 99CHF and weren't full but then went to eat something else.

Friendly staff but so stressed out that "details" like missing cutlery or napkins or empty glasses are completely overlooked. Had to borrow something from another table. The sushi was a bit rubbery, but overall ok.

It's a good place to have Asian food.

The food was great, but the service was very bad. We made a reservation at 7:30 p.m. and ate about 10 sushi rolls by 10:05 p.m. They constantly ignored us and when they asked, it probably took 30 minutes for it to come. It's a shame, because the sushi itself wasn't bad, but we still won't be coming back. The waiters were unfriendly, not attentive and almost fell asleep while working. Not to mention we had all you can eat sushi and then after ordering twice we heard that the kitchen was closing.

We made a reservation for two people on November 24th, 2023 and wanted to eat sushi. The starter was completely fine, as was the first course of sushi, but we wanted to order a second course and this took more than 1 1/2 hours! This is clearly too long for us.

We ordered the all you can eat sushi for 4 people and we were very happy with the food. There was a large selection and something for everyone. The service was also very friendly and always brought everything very quickly. I can only recommend. Everything was fresh and fine

This restaurant was by far the best in the region, I certainly ate there once a week. ALL dishes have changed for a good few months. On the one hand, it's no longer the same concept in terms of taste, the meat has a strange taste, even the rice in the side dish was not cooked, rock hard. I asked if anything had changed, the owner or the chefs, and I was told no to both. I am very sad about that.

About a year ago we had the most terrible experience ever when it came to the service and ultimately the billing. But we still had a voucher and dared to redeem it today... We decided on take-away - Korean ginger beef, Korean BBQ chicken wings and papaya salad...The waiting time was bridged with really nice drink service. The food was absolutely delicious and we might come back for the sushi 🤪 Ambiance deduction - the outside area could be spruced up a bit😎

Disappointing visit to Be Heroes Restaurant for the all you can eat sushi. An initial huge platter, with no choice, must be eaten in its entirety before further orders can be placed. The sushi had an excessive amount of rice, which quickly filled up - seemingly a cost-saving tactic. Despite the decent quality, the experience wasn't worth the money and unfortunately we didn't get to actually take advantage of the 'all you can eat' offer. A pity!

Of course, here is a negative review for the restaurant "Be Heroes": I was really disappointed with my experience with 'Be Heroes'. Even though we only live 700m away, delivery took over 45 minutes when we ordered through Eats. With such a short distance I would have expected a much faster service. I will think twice before ordering here again in the future.

I've been here twice for all you can eat sushi. I was very satisfied both times! The sushi tastes delicious and I was also very satisfied with the service.

We (4 people) had all you can eat sushi. We were seated at 6:15 p.m. We waited over 20 minutes until the drinks order was taken. After the drink we were told by the waiter (owner?) that we would receive an appetizer, which came and was good. He then explained to us how to order the sushi. First a record came without us being able to choose. Personally, I didn't find it ideal because there were many types of sushi that I wouldn't have used. Only then were you allowed to choose for yourself. The selection was very poor, if you can say so. Four people were only allowed to order 12 pieces of sushi, which meant there were 3 pieces per round for each person and then you had to order again. But by the time the waiter, who was serving a completely full restaurant by himself, had practically forgotten about us and we had to wait 15+ minutes for each additional order, we lost our appetite after the third round. These waiting times are not okay! What also bothered us was that if there are two of you you can order 12 pieces per round, but if there are four of you you have to order exactly that many pieces. These constant waiting times in between are not okay for all you can eat. I don't recommend it. But the sushi itself was fresh. Tip: Be sure to hire more staff when serving and don't cut corners. Waiting times were catastrophic. It was also very cold in the restaurant because the doors had to remain open.

Waited 2 and a half hours for delivery, never arrived!

The food was packed for take away despite dine-in. You felt sorry for the waiter, there was only him and the kitchen seemed to be working very slowly. A pity!

Sunday, August 6, 2023. 1 table occupied. I order a Fride-Rice, but please without edamame, whereupon I receive the very brisk comment that it doesn't change the price 😅 It was clear to me, it doesn't matter - order it! Afterwards, pure chaos! There is also 1 more table that needs to be served 🫣 So, the boys do their best, prepare the wrong thing very late, the object of desire in the take-away box is opened by another guest, etc. etc. whereupon I tell the friendly innkeeper (irony off) that he should keep his money, but that I don't want any more food from him. Long story short; if you want to order or eat from Be Heroes; let it be 😆

problem after problem! We ordered at 11:30... after 4 calls with various "chefs" HALF of the food arrived at 1:01 p.m.... cold... we called again and are still curious whether we will get the other half today or whether it will be for brunch Will be used tomorrow. :-)

A nice local and the Szechuan chicken is simply top

If you want to be a functioning business do better. We waited 2.5 hours for our food delivery, we called various times and they kept lying to us saying the driver has already left. They lied to us 3 times over the span of 2.5 hours. We kept telling them we wanted to cancel and they didn’t want to. Just horrible, I have never experienced this is in my life. Do yourself a favor and never order or go here. You will be highly disappointed and mad at yourself for the entire week that you let yourself order from this place.

Super nice service! Cozy ambience outside. Super fine food peanut curry with planted chicken, the perfect spiciness for me and simply delicious. Momos and dumplings very good. Large portions, enough for me for lunch the next day. Definitely recommended :-)

It's hard to give a balanced summary, I have had maybe 3 good, 3 okay and 2 bad experiences here. But the bad ones are so annoying that I'll take a break from visiting them now. When everything works the sushi and other food is good and less expensive than some bigger brands. But sometimes they are just overbooked/understaffed and even if you have a reservation you just don't get your stuff. Already twice I had the situation where I booked all-you-can-eat and just couldn't get served additional rounds in any reasonable fashion. Once it was Korean Chicken Wings and we only got the initial serving after 45 minutes, then one more an hour later, and then another 45 minutes later were allowed to make a final order because their closing time was approaching. The second was sushi. The initial serving was diminished in size compared to good visits and then we waited about an hour and a half for the next serving, at which point we gave up and just went in to pay. I'm not blaming the staff, I could see them constantly churning out Sushi through the window but I don't know where it was going. Maybe management made them take online or to-go orders with priority. I felt like we were left to wait because we were already a captive audience. I really should have refused to pay AYCE price for that but I shied away from confrontation in the end and just quietly paid 45 CHF for maybe an equivalent amount to the 25 CHF platter.

Ordered Be Heroes rice with chicken in take away today. Rice was overcooked and tough and the chicken meat was dry with a brown sauce that was not freshly prepared and not at all tasty

At Be Heroes you can find delicacies from Asia. The mint hibiscus iced tea was good. Salmon 🍣 Wave as a starter was really tasty and would have been enough as a main course - a lot. Peanut 🥜 curry 🍛 with duck 🦆 as the main course (look at the menu :) was just as delicious 😋 I found everything very, very fine and authentic. For example, in the starter there was real sushi rice, like the one used in good sushi. The Asian chef asked about the food (as did the waitress), which is why I have no complaints about the service. All in all, I'll definitely be back 👍🏼

We redeemed the Dein Deal voucher for sushi all you can eat. We found the sushi to be very good. They tasted really good and were of good quality too. The spring rolls for starters were also very good. The mango passion fruit iced tea is great, you really have to try it! We actually had a reservation on Badenerstrasse, but they were closed so we had to go to Schlieren.

The sushi is good, but the service is disastrous. We tried pick-up 3 times and ever time they mess it up (sending one back and forth between their two locations in schlieren, mixing up orders and so on). Today was the last time we tried to order. We ordered for 5:30pm and when we tried to pick it up they didn't even start preparing the food.

Since I m I n a diet i could not eat rice or noodles. The service was very friendly and proposed me several alternatives. I decided for a curry with vegetables and chicken. The waiting time was quick. But here to mention I did not visit on a busy day. Anyway, service good, friendliness good, food good, atmosphere lovely and chilled. Price well I guess theire rent isn't cheap either...but for Switzerland the price is ok. Ps. thanks for saving my night by providing a good time.

I can't bring myself to give this restaurant more than a 2 out of 5 star review. While the ambiance was pleasant, the overall dining experience was not up to par. We had to wait 20 minutes to place our order, and then another 20 minutes for the first food to arrive. To make matters worse, my friend's main dish was incorrectly ordered as a starter, leading to a long wait for the correct order to arrive. Even then, they forgot the fries which led to another 20-minute wait. The food itself was decent but honestly nothing special. While the ambiance was enjoyable, the long wait times and incorrect orders detracted from the overall experience.

Very dissatisfied. The delivery didn't even arrive after 2 hours and we had to go there. We ordered it on Uber Eats and it said that the order had been prepared and was already being delivered. I called you guys and the order wasn't even ready. Calling you several times, you are not understood, you promise that you will be called back (which was not the case), you send an SMS to one of your employees with 3 photos of our order and you don't even get an answer back. When we got to you, we were told that the delivery person had taken the order for a long time, but it never arrived. You had the order prepared for the second time and it was never delivered to us until we picked it up. We paid for the extra delivery costs and they never delivered our order. It's not OK! 2 free apple shorles doesn't make it any better. Your supplier is very unreliable. You have to cancel it.

Extremely disappointed by the non-existent service, we sat down the waiter came to us after 40 minutes. Let me start by saying that the restaurant was not full. We opted for All you can eat sushi, we received the first course after more than an hour of waiting. Then we repeated the order, after a long wait the second dish arrived. We decided to have the last round, but we waited at the table for more than 20 minutes but no one came to take the next order. Other than "all you can eat", a shameful service to say the least! Nothing we got up paid at the cashier and were happy to walk out of the restaurant. Never again!

Since the accuracy of my review was asked: - Eating too greasy - Chicken too sweet and too black definitely not 'Korean' - Wine glass was dirty, unfortunately some of the table and cruet were too - Different wine glass sizes for bottled wine that we shared, even though the 'same set' was visible at the buffet - long waiting time - Drinks were good - Service person was friendly - Pleasant volume despite the full area So I wouldn't come for the food anymore, but for the drinks

We waited 2 hours for two plates of sushi, inadmissible.

We reserved a table online for Saturday evening. When we arrived we were told that we couldn't do the All You Can Eat Sushi because we didn't make a reservation for it. Unfortunately it's nowhere on the website. We then had to order sushi from the menu (strangely enough, that worked).

The food was ok, not great but not bad either, just average. The staff is below average because it is unfriendly. The menu, of course a matter of taste, but labeling dishes as possibly gluten-free is not possible. Either it is or it isn't!

We had an all-you-can-eat sushi menu. The process is as follows: - You get a test plate with the most sushi - A list is then filled out for each course We definitely got full. The sushi wasn't the best I've eaten, but it was tasty. I can confirm that the iced tea is very good. There are enough parking spaces in the area.

Ordered 3 pad thai and 4 momos. Two pad Thai and one fried rice came. The taste wasn't really edible and the momos were very bad.

We have been to this place on several occasions, they have good options, the 🍣 is very good, even though this day we went some guys didn't have them. But in general they are all fresh and delicious. They have other Asian dishes that are also delicious. (We always go for sushi. The attention is very good, on this occasion we got one of the girls Katharina or Karina. Sorry! (I don't remember her name correctly) super friendly. His partner too. I recommend this place Good, pretty and economical.

We ordered chicken gyoza, Korean ginger beef and Saiten plate for delivery at home. First it took them more than a hour to give the order to a driver. Than the driver got lost and I found him by asking the buildings name around him. He was not at the right street. By that time food was not warm but still ok and tasty.

A place to avoid! We made a booking through the app “The fork” and they did not accept our discount so we drove 30 minutes for nothing. Furthermore, the customer service agent that we contacted from “The fork” called them to try and fix the situation and they put him on hold, just unbelievable. I would like to be able to review the food but after making us feel like fools, we obviously decided to leave.

Excellent. For Switzerland and Zurich really nice authentic sushi and makis. Freshly made. We will go back again. Recommended booking.

The AYCE Chicken Wings were not too bad, but there is no selection of different marinades or types, so you just have to eat what they have, this was a bit disappointing. Also, there side dishes were a bit strange: papaya salad or rice
