Beachtown Biel in Biel/Bienne

When I read the reviews here I am amazed. Beachtown always has sturdy plastic beach cups to ensure safety. The scratched plastic cups are scratched because plastic unfortunately gets scratched after so much washing and because the cups also come into contact with sand. I don't know how you don't think about that. But whatever. Beachtown has been around for 12 years and has always been by the glass. For those who don't like it, there are also Redbulls, organic bitterlemon, tonic, black orange in cans. If someone doesn't like their drink or something is wrong. Then why on earth are you drinking it? Go to the bar and complain. Asking too much? Overpriced? No ! They bring us tons of sand to Biel and we complain about a 5 chf soft drink? Really funny. Sorry had to get rid of that ☺️

The staff was very unfriendly and brazen, they wanted 40.- for entry and then her work colleague told her "No" in French and said 25.- they wanted to rip off the local people!!

Right on the lake, you can relax, the only thing you can pay for is the drinks deposit, which can only be paid in the bank and returned

Ordered two carbonated waters. Undrinkable water from a 1.5l bottle was POURED into an extremely scratched “plastic cup”. Then there were still black particles in it. Simply unhygienic and inedible... Sadly, I still charge 14.- fr for it (2.- deposit).. will never order anything again

Small "beach" with a very pleasant atmosphere. Background music not too loud which allows you to chat with the people who are with you. The sand on the floor is very clean and the cocktails are good.

a glass of still water from a 2L plastic bottle 7 CHF .. I asked the bartender if they have 500ml bottled water, and he said he was sorry, he had already opened the 2L one, without he asks me ! :))

The view is perfect, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Every time we buy a warehouse we get confused, but other than that we really liked it

The food from Baan Thai was very tasty. The drinks from the Beachtown Bar, on the other hand, were more of a disappointment. The Aperol Spritz was not with original Aperol and the Hugo was out of the bottle. You can expect more for CHF 10.

Loved this place, but unfortunately disappointed by the staff. I wanted to drink and sit there "But I urgently needed 5 minutes to charge my phone. Even though I obviously had a cable there for the phone, the employee told me "we don't have a charging device." Then he explained to me that the owner forbade them to charge customers' phones. A pity.

We visited this bar one Sunday afternoon to have a nice drink and enjoy some summer vibe atmosphere. This place didn’t disappoint, except for the music, it was a bit too loud, a bit disorienting and without any structure. You can see around that the people weren’t really enjoying it, but for us, we decided to finish our drink and leave. Good thing that we did because as we were leaving, they decide to charge for the entrance (not sure why would this be the case) around 5PM. All in all nice place, but music and charging policy can be significantly improved.

TO RUN AWAY!!! We order 6 cocktails for 14.-. No one else at the bar, it's still early. The waitress... took about 20 minutes to prepare them for us. When she finally puts them on the table, she says "sorry, we're out of ice. Wait, I have one cube left, I'll put it in this glass." It was 35 degrees. the joke. We told him that we were sorry, that we didn't want a cocktail without ice (that the price justifies a little quality)... that we were happy to wait until we found ice (as there was about 4 stands she could go next... (in short we wanted to be nice). Reaction from the arrogant waitress? she looks at me and says "ok you're the one who said so, so if you don't want them... I'm not going to bother with that... and she throws the 5 cocktails in the trash! !! We're not complicated people. but being treated like that, nothing justifies it!!

Nicely done but the prices for drinks, which are filled with ice and mineral water, are far too expensive.

Unfortunately the coffee comes in a mug instead of a coffee cup👎

It's a really cool, relaxing place, you immediately feel like you're on vacation. Really great, nice people, cool drinks, just a sea feeling. Great, it's nice that something like this exists.

Unsatisfactory drinks....had a lousy vodka/lemon with hardly any alcohol, no taste and lemon soda was also out....🙄😬🤪

Simply very beautiful! There is a place to walk, lie down :))) and even swim!!! You can also take a boat ride!! In general, I advise you to visit and enjoy the beauty of nature and the conveniences of human progress.

Mega great location by the lake. Lots of choice of drinks, good music & there are also shishas for those who like that sort of thing. Great for an after-work beer😉

Pleasantly furnished and has a summer flair. Good drinks and music. Party people with style. A bit tight.
