We are always extremely satisfied with the quality of the food and appreciate the ideal location - right in the center and in the immediate vicinity of Biel train station, which is perfect for us. We ate at La Rotonde for a birthday and the welcome was already a little cold... the waitress was not very smiling and seemed not to want to be there (we won't stop at that because it can happen but it was unsettling, we were trying to be nice to her). I chose the game menu and unfortunately I was a little disappointed.. the deer steak was good but the red cabbage and spätzli less so.. too buttery for my taste. The desserts were good and plentiful. We paid around 350.- for 6 people with a bottle of wine, it was OK.
