Beausite in Unterseen

I was very disappointed with the breakfast. If you see the owner photos you will be too. Breakfast it’s the typical all pre-prepared food, nothing special, nothing typical or countryside. Even the jucie comes from a package. They offer some amenities like slippers in the booklet you find in the room, but when you ask in reception they are rude and tell with an attitude you are not in a 4 star hotel, they don’t have slippers. There is no option for dinner at the hotel, very disappointing too!! Needs some general maintenance, however it’s in general clean.

I'm so tired of hotels trying to make their rooms sound so much better than they actually are. Where do I start? Beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The 1 Queen bed wasn't actually a Queen. It was 2 twin mattresses pushed together with a wooden barrier in-between. (The mattresses were really more of a futon mattress than an actual bed) Walls were PAPER THIN. Do not expect any privacy at this hotel. You can hear bordering rooms/guests easily. Breakfast wasn't bad, but also nothing special. This hotel is classified as a 3-star hotel, but I'd be hesitant to give it a 2-star rating. Very disappointed

Perfect location, Friendly staff! Excellent buffet breakfast with great coffee wow the eggs were great! Worth noting the free coffee and cake from 2pm-6pm was a real highlight of our stay in Interlaken absolute vibe. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay. We loved every minute of it!!! Highly recommend. Close proximity to the station!

The service is really friendly and nice. Always trying to accommodate us the best way. Our room was really clean, the cot bed for the baby was really comfy. The breakfast and dinner were excellent! The hotel is right in the town so easy to leave the car and go visit by walk. We will come back!

One of the best 3 Star Hotel experiences we had as a frequently traveling family least to say thus a very well run family owned accommodation by Max & Imi together with their marvellous staff from Regula to John and all!

We got the room facing the backyard. It was a beautiful view. We could see the mountain and the people hang gliding. The room is good size for us , and clean. The breakfast is reasonably good too. I particularly like the hot chocolate freshly made by the kitchen people. The complementary afternoon tea Was served with some cakes too.

All good! We found this hotel through other websites but I called in to check out some details directly from the hotel: -Car park: we could actually leave the car parked there the whole day after we checked out as we were going up to the Jungfraujoch the whole day. train station is 5 minutes walking and the bus just stops opposite the hotel. -Breakfast: it is advertised as buffet but in these Covid times you hear a lot of disappointed people. In our case case the breakfast was a mixture of buffet and served and it was all good (even the coffee!!) The best surprise was the booking of the room: on other website this hotel was the only one with a 4 beds' room. Over the phone the receptionist offered us an upgrade to a family room (2 separate rooms but connected by an internal door) at even a cheaper price: our two young ladies loved to be "independent" for one night. Personnel was very attentive and gave us all tips and tricks for our mountain visit. Highly recommended

A very pleasant hotel with helpful, attentive staff. Large, comfortable rooms and quiet at night so that we had four very good nights' sleep. Everything is close by- Jungfrau, the Eiger, Thun and you can walk easily to some good restaurants in Unterseen within 5 minutes. Highly recommend.

EVERYONE met our request for refund with compassion and understand due to pandemic except YOU! You mentioned facts, so here are the true facts... 1. we booked on 2/18/2020 for our Trip to your hotel in May 2. We immediately tried to cancel the reservation on 3/13 after Trump announced a travel ban to Europe on 3/12. 3. Hotel Beausite did NOT offer any booking extension initially, refused refund request, and mentioned that you will keep the FULL payment even if we don’t show. 4. I had to actually CONVINCE YOU through our numerous back and forth conversations through email along with Booking.com. So, instead you moved our reservation to November. NOVEMBER! why would my wife and I want to visit Switzerland in the cold of November? 4. Again, I had to argue with you to change dates to May of next year. However the pandemic has hurt us financially. I will leave you and the rest of other travelers with final thoughts. Again, how is that HOTEL BEAUSITE is the only Hotel of all the other Swiss Hotels that did not provide compassion during a Global Pandemic. Lastly, do you think my wife and I would feel comfortable going to your hotel now after this? THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL TRAVELERS COMING TO THIS HOTEL: Be careful with the type people that you are dealing with when traveling, especially on their customer service!
