We enjoyed a delicious fondue on the viewing terrace in bright sunshine and were served very courteously, attentively and friendly. A place where you like to stay.

View great, service ok. It's just a shame that the apple strudel was still frozen.

Amazing location. A short walk from the Gondola Station and a stunning view of the mountains. A small lunch menu but very well done. Highly recommend the “Käseschnitten”, traditionally made with high quality cheese.

Here I discovered a new favorite coffee (Coffee Dani) with an additional, mega-beautiful view. The food is top class. A special thank you to the lovely team. They were wonderful hours which we really enjoyed. We will be happy to come back here on our next visit. Thank you for everything.

Waited 20 minutes for the terrace and no one came to take an order. Inside, service was also served at the window front.

Room is 4 star for the view alone! Room was comfortable and had a good view. Bring your own tea/coffee/milk. Fully equipped although no kettle (I think you could heat the metal jugs on the induction stove). The breakfast was great, the staff were lovely and we got a discount on our cable car pass. Would come again

Go ahead, the bread is good. Minus point 1: Neighbor ordered a voucher (twice even because she hadn't received anything after 1 week and the promise that the voucher would be sent directly)... until today, 3 weeks after the first order, the voucher has not arrived! Minus point 2: My husband ordered 7 rolls yesterday and 1 bread for today. Picked this up this morning and when we got home we discovered that there were only 4 rolls (and 1 bread) in the bag. Annoying. Conclusion: Bread is good, other things obviously don't work and has great potential for improvement.

I recently visited the Zurschmitten Tea Room and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The very friendly hosts, Moni and Daniel, are the second generation to manage the family-run mountain lodge. They made us feel welcome. As soon as we checked in, we felt at home. The rooms were all freshly renovated at the end of 2022 and are of top standard. Outstanding is the breathtaking view you have from every room. I would recommend Zurschmitten Tea-Room to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming atmosphere in the Valais Alps with a view towards the Matterhorn.

Following a recommendation, we walked here at 8 a.m. to pick up fresh pastries for breakfast - but unfortunately we were disappointed. Summits were a no-go from yesterday at 8 a.m. The croissants from the Coop next door would probably have been a lot fresher...

The food is good, but the portions are extremely small. A small mixed salad without bread for CHF 15 is absolutely incomprehensible. The cheese slice costs Chf 20.- and ONE slice of bread is served! Not recommended for hungry hikers.

TL;DR killer views, delicious food. It was the only place open on the day of our visit (Ascension Day) so we didn't have much choice. Fortunately, the food was a pleasant surprise as everything came out quickly and it was tasty. Goulachsouppe was a good start. Käseschnitten was also great. My only concern was that Bratwurst could be better with mustard.

So the service was terrible. The only reason why there are 3 stars is because of the cakes, which were homemade. But that's it.

Good patisserie, especially the chocolate cake and Valais nut cake. The bread is also very good. Coffee and cake are available on a beautiful sun terrace.

We got another studio at short notice over New Year's Eve. Wonderful view from the Matterhorn to Upper Valais. Morning and evening sun on the balcony. Fireworks from Brig to Rosswald are countless. Super furnished, it has everything you need! Individual breakfast from 7.30 a.m. Not far from the gondola - ski directly to the chair lift. Very friendly helpful staff. We are very satisfied!!

Service only moderately friendly... It's not enough for further evaluation because we neither stayed overnight nor ate anything. ..the view is very nice though!

We wanted to eat a clay salad here, garnished with lettuce. Unfortunately the salad had now run out. When asked whether the garnish could also be made with tomatoes, we answered in the affirmative. At the end we were offered a coffee because we hadn't received our lettuce. We call that customer friendliness. Always happy here.
