Lousy service. The waitress didn't understand what we wanted to order, so a different meal came than what we wanted. The same thing with coffee, we ordered Café Creme, an expresso was brought... The staff was overwhelmed and hectic overall, once the pizzaiolo shouted loudly into the restaurant to stop ordering pizza, he only had two hands! By the way, the full price was charged for the meal, even though we immediately complained that it was the wrong meal. Only after we lodged another complaint after paying were we offered compensation. The risotto was basically delicious, but if you didn't order what you ordered and you're so annoyed and the atmosphere is so bad, you still can't enjoy it. Very unfortunate. I will no longer consider the restaurant, even if it is close to the exhibition buildings.

I have never experienced something like that! Despite a reservation, I stood at the entrance for 30 minutes and didn't receive a single glance. There was a huge queue in front of us and after us too. No space despite reservation. That is not how it works!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with Bella Vita. It started with the aperitif: Prosecco was stale and warm, but at least it was replaced. Then we ordered and asked for a special combination, no response means it should work. It was promptly served incorrectly, we then agreed and ate what we didn't order. The cellar explained that we would then have a coffee...but this was on the bill. Overall, we were extremely disappointed, the mood was hectic and it seemed to us that the staff was overwhelmed…..well…. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

It was my first time there, the service was friendly, the pizza was delicious, all in all a very nice and good lunch.

The food was very tasty, but not enough staff when the restaurant is full. We received our food quickly, but were hardly served afterwards - otherwise we would have liked to order dessert.

Overall, a good restaurant with a very great and spontaneous boss. Sometimes waiting times are slightly longer at lunchtime. The Bella Vita is often busy at lunchtime, so it's best to make a reservation. Take-away possible without any problems (enough early to take the staff into account). So far, the take away has always worked on time (and really on time!).

Whether it’s pizza or pasta, go for it without thinking. Then let yourself be served by involved employees. They do not hesitate to recommend the best wine for the dish ordered. In addition, the restaurant welcomes you even after 9 p.m. which is rare in Bern (unfortunately).

Lovely Italian restaurant with wonderful staff. Food came quick and was delicious. Nice setting near Guisanplatz, and popular with local office workers. Staff was very understanding and helpful which was much appreciated, thank you! :)

5 stars for the pizza, praise to the pizzaiolo! Salad for over CHF 8.00 loveless/0815. Service leaves a LOT to be desired, it's a shame. Long wait, wine was brought to attention several times, only served halfway through the meal. When we informed us, we received an unfriendly answer from the waiter. We would have consumed more, but despite the delicious pizza we won't be back. There are still many good pizzerias in Bern with friendly service.

Pizza was tasty, but we had to wait a long time to order drinks and say several times that we wanted to pay. One or two more employees in service would be an advantage.

We reserved a table for 5 people 3 days in advance. When we arrived we had to wait until we got attention. When we wanted to go to our table we were told that our table had already been given away even though we weren't even late. After another 30 minutes and a long shot back and forth, a table for four was set aside for us. The service and the food in and of themselves were good, but we would have expected at least a small apology from the boss, but that didn't come. It was only when we requested that we were offered a limoncello. We definitely won't come back here again. It's a shame when you reserve a table to then pass it on to other people!

Fr. 17.-- for a portion of pasta in the take-away is a proud price - the quality has to be top notch, which unfortunately is not the case...

Nice restaurant with its own parking spaces. The service is very accommodating. The lunch menu is very simple. The dish I chose, chicken breast with a honey sauce that was about too sweet, was a bit boring. Luckily, I was able to swap the sauceless pasta for steamed vegetables. But the prices are very fair.

Very good Italian restaurant. Price/performance is top. Unfortunately the plates are cold! The meat and sauce in my wife's dish got cold too quickly because of the cold plate. Unfortunately the service is not attentive, otherwise you would have sold even more! But we'd still like to come back.

This is an Italian restaurant. It's really delicious. The clerks are also friendly. It was good except that the response was a bit slow due to the small number of clerks. Delicious Food, staffs were very kindly but they were so busy so we needed to wait.

Very unfriendly, inattentive service. For a Saturday evening when there wasn't much going on, the service was extremely slow with long waiting times. Pizza "Surprise" is a pizza with toppings from about 5 different pizzas. Taste wise 4/10. We definitely won't go there again!

Fantastic food. We had pizza and pasta. Nice terrace. Unfortunately there is a star deduction for the lady in service. A robot would certainly have done better. I haven't experienced so much dissatisfaction at work in a long time. I also strongly recommend that the lady take a course for this profession.
