Absolute insider tip. 🙏🏼💯 Super great atmosphere in a green area. Great design, simple yet chic. Super friendly and fast staff, and when it gets colder in the evening, a blanket is brought to every guest. Great, very tasty menu...small portions, but many courses, so absolutely top. The price is a bit high, but this also reflects the very good quality. Reservation is definitely necessary. Parking garage available.

We had tasting menu. Food was alright but I personally would not mix broccolini with soya sause and creamy salmon. Service was inattentive - 2 out of 7 asked for no meat option and it was not addressed. Had to ask several times to add settings for extra people. I liked the vintage feel but an old chair pulled my silk dress…playground old and very rusty.

What I particularly love is that it is a pop-up restaurant that is only open in the summer. This unique feature makes the visit very special. The creative menu and excellent selection of wines ensure that every meal is a delight. The places in nature are particularly cozy. It's a real treat to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. My children can play on the beautiful lawn with playground while I relax and enjoy the food and atmosphere. It is a place where I always feel comfortable and welcome. Many thanks to the entire berg 8044 team for the wonderful experiences I had with you. I'm looking forward to coming back and experiencing more unforgettable moments.

The staff was extremely courteous, attentive and friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish I ordered was deliciously prepared, beautifully presented and of the highest quality. The flavor combinations were amazing and I could feel the attention to detail in every bite. In addition to all this, Berg 8044 Restaurant also offered a beautiful outdoor atmosphere, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It feels like a fancy picnic and i love it! the starters wasn’t as good.. but the meat was actually really good It was hard for us to find the entrance and it was difficult for a wheelchair user to get to the table

You can spend a very nice time here (weather dependent). There was a lot of variety at Bergtavolata. Presentation was good, flavor combinations could be a bit more interesting. Portion sizes are well balanced. You don't go home hungry and don't explode at the second change of food ;) Points of criticism: - the chair legs keep sinking into the ground, you then sit 'crooked' and have to 'dig out' the chair. You can certainly find a solution. - Dessert was not included in the price. However, the waitress didn't indicate this, just nicely brought it to the table as the next dish. It's a shame it wasn't enough for 5 stars.

They capitalize on the wonderful spot they have, the food is absolutely not worth the money. My filet mignon tasted like a leather jacket. Disappointed but Zurich wannabes will feel their ego well served.

Hidden gem tucked away on Züriberg. Open air dining in a meadow with either a set menu for sharing or a la carte. Authentic Italian tavolata according to my Italian friend! Perfect way to spend hours in the sunshine eating and drinking delicious things. There is a play area area for kids across the meadow within eye sight but not earshot. Parking is in a covered lot just after the address and is 3 CHF per hour.

Beautiful, cozy and hearty location. The food is very tasty. The prices (food and wine) are incredibly high.

A very comfortable dining environment, suitable for gatherings when the weather is good, and there is also a large lawn and game area. The food is delicious but the portions are small and expensive. The service staff is also very slow and you need to keep waving to find someone ~

there is one word for this place "SUPERB" The location is incredible, the food is so good!!! , and on top the view and the atmosphere created is unique... i love the staff they are respectful and at the same time helpful! They made me feel welcome and they took care of every dish and drink in a very professional way. The quality of the food is incredible :) and to be honest this combination is something rare fo find! Thank you ill be back for sure again and again!

Wonderful location - unfortunately neither the quality of the goods nor the attitude of the host are right for the exorbitant price ($$$). Veal cutlet for 56 CHF was simply inedible. But nobody here is interested in constructive feedback to the kitchen - especially the host, who prefers to play with his cell phone. Of course, I'm happy if this restaurant business is doing so well despite Corona that it can do without returning guests. Even by Zurich standards, what is offered is an absolute “no-go”.

Sends unauthorized advertising via SMS about reopening. Responds late to my complaint and request to delete me from the system. Berg 8044 probably misused data from reservations at Foratable. Don't take data protection seriously. A pity. I was interested in the concept of the restaurant and wanted to go there after Corona. Similar cases have been reported in my area. It's a shame, the restaurant runs absolute Nogos!

Fantastic outdoor ambience: spacious, rustic tables/chairs with taste! Fast service, prices in the upper middle class. To experience the most harmonious sunny evenings. Excellent grill cuisine!

Just amazing fantastico, un paradiso, great location, wonderful guys in service, attentive and funny, the starters on the menu were the absolute highlight, incredibly difficult to name the best, pulpo veggie, cauliflower with truffles, braised onions, all kinds of vegetables imaginatively prepared. For the main course I wished the tofu was a little fried, pickled or something similar, otherwise everything was great. We would love to come back there. Grazie mille 🙏🏼

What do you do on a lazy summer day on Sunday? Eating on 'Berg8044' is like a little vacation in another place with guaranteed relaxation from the otherwise hectic hustle and bustle during the week. A new 'player' has been added to the Stadtoase VGZ area. The landlady of Berg8044 took us on a tour of the VGZ and shared with us possible ideas on how to get the Bocca facility back up and running. The Tavolata was the finest and coupled with the ambience consisting of an open kitchen and a lawn that doesn't stop, it was a successful experience. Thank you for the little vacation in everyday life and the wonderful food on a wonderful Sunday afternoon!
