We came from Italy and stopped here. We were served extremely friendly and courteously. In addition to a cappuccino and mineral water, we tried the Splügen platter. This was full of delicacies such as alpine cheese, salsiccia, dried meat etc. We took a seat outside, although the dining room also looked very homely.

We only stopped for a short time because the mountain house is in such a picturesque location. We had sunny weather with a bit of a cooling wind - there was perfect light for photos, expansive panoramas and spotted models who revealed their location with cowbells (instead of air tags). It would be a shame not to stop here as a photography lover. We also ordered a house-style coffee - which here means it has a strong shot of some alcoholic liqueur in it. This is probably beneficial for the onward journey to Italy 😁 In short: we thought it was great!

We give 6 out of 5 possible stars! An absolute highlight on the return journey from Tuscany - unfortunately the stay was far too short. Impressive location, the entire house is wonderfully furnished. A great mix of rustic - cozy - modern. You sleep in Morpheus's arms and eat like God in France. We'll definitely come back and then we'll take more time.
