Were there for lunch. Great value for money, food was very good.

Pleasant, family atmosphere, very helpful, breakfast had everything I needed. Price/performance very good (in the hotel as well as in the restaurant)! Gladly again :)

Great surprise. Booked it last minute and did expect much of it, as i had been booking hostels in Switzerland for higher cost than the bergheim which ended up being disappointing. The hotel is well located, reachable by bus which goes from Sargans to the slopes. Room was clean, quiet and comfy. Bathroom was shared and clean. The owners were very nice people. Breakfast (included in the price) was good. Bread, butter, jam, ham, coffee. Great discovery, will come back.

Ideal for motorcyclists with a garage. The best thing is the kitchen. Absolutely good food, I haven't eaten this good in a long time, but one more star.

We stayed here for two nights in August 2023 during a very rainy weekend... The good: The hotel is warm and welcoming. We had very bad weather so can't we comment on the views unfortunately. The accommodation is simple but had everything we needed. A traditional Swiss buffet breakfast was available with a choice of breakfast foods. It was all delicious. The red-shelled eggs were a point of conversation. We had to stop ourselves from going back for thirds! We had dinner here once and although we found it pricey, it was so delicious that I still think about it! The mushroom sauce was simply unbelievable. There was enough English spoken by the lady that we managed to communicate (with a bit of help from a translator app). We had a shared bathroom but it was immaculately clean and in perfect working order. The bad: Only one small negative point: Walking into the restaurant from the hotel can feel like walking into a private club where you're not welcome. The owners and their friends sit at the table by the door and when we walked in, a couple of times, the whole table stopped their conversation and just stared at us without saying a word until we asked to be seated / checked in. However they are actually very friendly, helpful, and welcoming once you introduce yourself and communicate your intentions. There is no English on the menu so come ready with a translator app on your phone. Google Translator got the job done very well.

Nice little hotel with simple rooms. As a tip, you can see beautiful sunsets at the top of the mountain.

No no no for the restaurant. If you are not a hotel guest they do not want your money. Maybe even if you are a hotel guest they do not want you here. They for sure didn't want US there. They were inconvenienced the moment we walked in the door. The woman was like, yeah whatever, go where you want. And truly did not care we were there. No wifi (unless you're a hotel guest which makes no sense considering they could also make money from restaurant visitors) and no English menus. So they've left it impossible to sort out a meal. She barely gave us attention after 10mins at which point I said, they don't want us here, let's go. We left. And will never return and hopefully encourage no one reading this to attempt. Shame.

Very quiet place... the owner does everything possible to understand Spanish... the restaurant service and the clean and pleasant hotel are recommended

I was there for one night, very friendly hosts, well-kept, beautiful rooms. I was able to enjoy a very tasty dinner and a great morning with lots of choice. Definitely worth a visit again

Good bourgeois atmosphere, the hotel is clean and very cheap for the health resort. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. A place where the locals feel comfortable. Since May 25th, 2022 the restaurant has had a new terrace. A true place of relaxation for guests and the village population. The innkeeper is also known to the Walensee Fischer. He receives the fish delicacies upon receipt. If you have it, you'll find it on the menu.

Functional, clean room. The breakfast buffet was rich and the dinner was always very tasty. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at the Hotel Bergheim for two nights and really enjoyed it. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The meal was delicious. Ski lifts are easily accessible by bus. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated.

Really nice accommodation with simple and clean rooms. The hosts & staff are great and the food in the restaurant is also very tasty. We'd love to come back :)

You can feel the passion of the host couple when looking after their guests. Very familiar and accommodating. Rooms are simple, relatively large and very family friendly. For us, the solution with a connecting door to the children's room was perfect.
