Cheese - Toggenburg - View. That was enough to pay the restaurant a visit. And that in advance, we were not disappointed! The home-made cheese can be found in many menu options on the menu. This doesn't make it easy to choose a dish because there are so many exciting things to discover. Cordonbleu with special ham and our own cheese, cheese spaetzle, Schnippo or the daily menu, everything tasted delicious to us. Portion size just right, service very attentive and overall very friendly staff. In the room you feel very comfortable, homely, great view and traditional decoration. The prices are more than fair and next time we will try one of the many fondues that are on the menu.

Nice restaurant with a good view. There are enough parking spaces available. We dined here as a group of 14 and were all very satisfied. Good preparation and very attentive service. The food was very tasty. (It's a good idea to have cheese if you have dinner here). The seasonal quince punch and the pear ice cream were also extremely tasty - we can recommend them to everyone! The only downer: the time between ordering and serving was quite long. Everything was hot and there was even a greeting from the kitchen. We would definitely like to come back.

I stayed here for one night as an intermediate stop between St. Gallen and Winthertur. Good price. Very kind to leave me a huge room even if I was alone. Perfectly clean bathrooms, spectacular panoramic view. Unfortunately the managers don't seem to speak English but we understand each other anyway.

A very cozy Swiss restaurant with a beautiful view! The owner makes the cheeses himself, with which delicious fondues are on the menu. Also a good wild card. Service is good, friendly and smooth. Price-quality is excellent, especially for a Swiss restaurant.

To all dog owners, just never ask the boss for some water for your dog. The answer today was, NO, I'M NOT A DOG PERSON, AND NO...ASK THE waitress, she might bring water. We were really horrified and disappointed by such a spiteful answer.

If you love cheese, you've come to the right place, as their delicious home-made cheese is used in almost every dish. There is also a large selection of cheese that you can buy to take home, so there is something for every taste. 😊 The service was also very friendly and very patient with our large group. Furthermore, the view is amazing and there is even a playground for children including a trampoline outside 😊

Went to the butcher in the barn. Food and service perfect. I only give 3 stars for the ambience because the cold wind from outside was always noticeable near the entrance and not only the guests but also the service staff used it.

We were on a motorbike tour and ate, drank and stayed overnight at Berghof AG from September 4th to 5th. Everything was great! The service and the boss were very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious and the view was awesome. We would like to come again :)

We were able to spend our twentieth wedding anniversary on October 18th, 2022 in this beautiful place, with the best weather together and with great anticipation 🤗 (something we already know) without stress. Svetlana at reception, service and.... was the first,, Heihleit,, when we arrived ☝ 🤗😉🙏. Very friendly and well-positioned, despite the many hikers who enjoyed the beautiful autumn weather in the natural garden restaurant with natural wooden benches and tables, be it with a cool blonde, cold plate with the best cheese from our own production or a refreshing dessert 😋 😋👍. After we had absorbed some "soil and energy" in addition to a first aperitif and the sumptuous cold platter 😉 we decided to pay a visit to the Bruedertöbeli cave 👍 which can be found not far from the Berghof and is worth a visit 🤗👍 But it's best to convince yourself of it 😉. Afterwards we again felt the urge to get to know the garden restaurant in the Berghof, the foresight of the surroundings, the drinks menu and Svetlana in more depth 🤗🤣🤣. HIGHLY recommended is the whey bath in a copper kettle with a capacity of 2,000 liters and a wonderful view of the Toggenburg, as mentioned above, and still in the most beautiful autumn weather. Now Vreni, the dear boss of the house, comes into play or comes to our table and we asked her how we can sneak into the whey bath 🙈🤣, since this inconspicuous pool is right at the entrance to the garden restaurant in question and we ourselves forgot to bring a fig leaf🤗😉. Your statement was no problem 🤗 until you get into the whey bath there will no longer be an audience in the garden restaurant ☝☝. It wasn't EXACTLY THAT way ☝🤣🤣 because the sky opened up again and the garden pub was again well occupied so that Svetlana didn't get bored either. Naked as God created us 🤗 only modestly covered by a white bathrobe 😉, we sneaked around the corner at the entrance and completely uninhibited ☝☝🙈🙈🤣🤣 dropped our wise covers and relaxed into the whey bath, the melch The lovely husband from Vreni had warmed up for us in the meantime 🤗 Svetlana headed towards the pool and treated us to one, or was it two🤔😖 fine Prosecos ala Berghof ☝🤗👍. So my dears🤗 I didn't actually want to write an essay 🙈 Vreni cooked a very fine meal for us in the evening and of course we also spent the night in the beautiful Berghof 🤗👍 but unfortunately the story up to the fine breakfast table falls victim to censorship ☝😖😉🤣🤣🤣. I'm almost sorry to write this review but our visit wasn't good. We were there on September 4th, 2022 and waited 45 minutes until we could order. Countless guests who came after us were served first. The organization was very bad. Only when my 12 year old daughter got up and went to get a waitress did someone come. It then took another 30 minutes until we had our drinks. In the end, the waitress was annoyed because we didn't have the right coin and went to get change for about 10 minutes. We wouldn't come anymore.

They can't even serve me. I had to wait an hour for my food and then it was even wrong

A wonderfully located restaurant with a wonderful view. The beer garden is really rustic with benches and tables made of thick wooden trunks. The service was very friendly. The recommendation for drinking was a grape spritzer, which was very tasty. The cordon bleu was also very tasty. In terms of price, I thought it was absolutely okay for Switzerland. You should go there if you are in the area

It was really awesome. Great atmosphere. Food top as always. Selection of different cheeses. Simply top, always happy to come back.

There has been a charging station for electric vehicles for years, we will come back and use it when the sun is shining so that we can charge 100% of our own solar power while eating a delicious ice cream. The charging station test was excellent; we specifically took the small Skoda Citigo IV.

Super rustic farm with great food in a beautiful location. That alone would be a reason to visit the farm, but the friendly and attentive owners and staff also make you feel very welcome. I can also highly recommend the accommodation options (comfortable and clean), so I'm already thinking about when I'll come back! :)

There were two of us here, we had business to discuss and were then able to enjoy the fine cuisine. Very creatively staged dishes with and around cheese. The cheese ball and the cheese platter for dessert were a hit, the cordon bleu was delicious, but I found the size a bit tight and the breading not crispy enough, but that's a matter of taste. The view over the valley is wonderful and the service is clearly at the highest level, discreet during the conversation, yet always attentive and afterwards very close to the customer without being intrusive, bravo... Only a few people can do that...

Went to the Berhof today on a recommendation and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. Had to wait over an hour for a cold plate. We also had to wait 30 minutes before we could order the drinks and were then served the wrong one. The operating staff seemed extremely stressed and unfortunately there were some errors in the orders. It's a shame, because the view would be amazing!!
