We rounded off our company ski day with dinner for 80 people. The food was excellent and the service attentive.

A wonderful mountain hotel to recharge your batteries and unwind. This hospitality and helpfulness is unique and very difficult to find. The dishes are perfectly put together by Markus and leave you hungry for more. The hosts will fulfill your every wish and we would like to say thank you very much for this wonderful day with you.

NB: we only visited the restaurant, didn't stay at the hotel. Great view from the terrace. Crazy sunny though, I didn't bring my sunglasses and suffered the consequences, but even besides that it gets quite hot after sitting in the sun for half an hour. Food was good, there is enough variety, including vegetarian options.

A pretty mountain cabin in a beautiful place in nature. Easily accessible on foot from the mountain station in summer and winter via a good path and a well-maintained winter hiking trail in winter. We only visited the restaurant. The menu selection is naturally not very large - but you wouldn't expect that up here. Our lunch menu was tasty (see picture) and was on our table within a few minutes - wow! The whole service was nice and active. They're excellently organized up here. Happy to come back!

Once again we had a very pleasant week of skiing in Elm with unexpected snow and nice weather. Very relaxed lunch breaks on the Bischofalp with very attentive staff, great views and good food. We'll definitely come back.

An insider tip on the edge of the upper tree line above Elm. This was the second time I've been there for a few days on a skiing holiday and it was perfect every time. The food and service were simply great. The rooms are of a modern standard and spacious. 👍👍👍

We spent our skiing holiday on the Bischofalp for the fourth time. Sämi, his daughter Silvia Hefti and their team were, as always, highly motivated, friendly and competent hosts. Everything was perfect - wonderful views of the mountains, modern yet homely rooms. We will be back!

Friendly staff and service, but this is a terrible place for food. The menu is very limited, especially if you don't eat pork. We ordered vegetarian sandwiches which had some lettuce on ketchup-mayo sauce and sweet chili sauce (the kind that goes with spring rolls) and some cheese slices. The carrot soup was okay. The bill came to 52 CHF!! I think it was the worst food quality to price ratio I've ever experienced in my life (also just the worst restaurant food of my life period), and I've lived here for 13 years and love eating at mountain huts. There are other restaurants nearby - go to those instead or bring a packed lunch!

From October 15th - 10/16/2022 stayed overnight. From arrival to departure I felt like I was in good hands. Friendly staff, everything was very clean and tidy, very tasty food and good drinks and food options. A personal highlight for me was that every time the food was served, we were told what was available. The plates of the food were really hot. These are small details that are unfortunately no longer a given today. That's why I'm happy to mention them here. Many thanks to everyone who made this possible. I will gladly come again. The restaurant is very nice, with lots of wood and beautifully decorated. It has a very large, partly covered terrace with plants. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The view is wonderful.

Our room was spacious with a great view of the Panixerpass, a modern bathroom, and plenty of space for stowing gear. The hotel has a shoe-room in the cellar, great for keeping the common areas clean. The dinners were simple but ample, with emphasis on local products and regional specialties. Dinner was served outside on the terrace where there is a fabulous view of the Alps, including the Glarner Überschibung and the Martinsloch. The breakfast buffet included a variety of breads, some meat and cheese, cereals and yogurt, and boiled eggs. The hostess, Silvia Hefti, is very friendly and helpful -- she was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions without fuss or drama. Her father provided very helpful information about how best to start our hike the next day. We definitely plan to return!

Aussen wie innen sehr geschmackvoll, hell und modern. Die Wirte sind sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich. Wir hoffen das Bergrestaurant bald mal voll testen zu können.

Wir haben wunderbare Familienferien hier verbracht. Schöne Aussicht, schöne Zimmer, feines Essen und ein tolles Bischof Team.

Ein traumhafter Ort mit einer unbeschreiblichen Aussicht, einem schönen und gemütlichen Zimmer, einem super feinem Frühstück, einer gepflegten und abwechslungsreichen Küche sowie einem immer freundlichen und sehr hilfsbereiten Team! Kaum purzelt man nach einer sehr ruhigen und erholsamen Nacht aus dem Bett, so steht man bereits auf der Piste... All das macht aus den Skiferien auf der Bischofalp ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Einfach Traumhaft.....dort kann man den Alltag vergessen . Wir kommen wieder .

Corona bedingt leider nur Take away möglich!! Aber sehr schöne Terrasse, man kann am Boden sitzen und etwas Trinken!

Tolles 3-Gang-Menü jeden Abend, köstliches Morgenbuffet zum Start und sehr herzliches Personal. Sollte man Allergien haben oder etwas nicht gern, dann sind sie sehr flexibel und zaubern etwas anderes hervor. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Piste und die Zimmer sind sehr schön und angenehm gross. Unser Zimmer war doppelstöckig und somit hatte man doch noch etwas Privatsphäre gegenüber den Kindern. Das Badezimmer hat eine grosse Dusche und 1 Lavabo. Alles in allem sehr schöne Ferien die wir gerne wiederholen. Sehr gut ausgeruht da noch selten so ruhig geschlafen sind wir glücklich nach Hause gefahren. Wir kommen gerne wieder und lassen uns eine weitere Woche, oder einfach ein paar Tage, verwöhnen.

Sehr gemütliche Zimmer, die im modernen alpinen Stil eingerichtet sind. Die Gastgeber sind äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf den Tisch kommen viele einheimische Produkte, die spürbar mit Liebe zubereitet worden sind. Besonders toll ist die Lage neben dem Bischof-Lift und die Aussicht. Wärmstens zu empfehlen!

Moderne, zweckmäßige, gemütliche Architektur / Inneneinrichtung. Personal zuvorkommend, kontaktliebend, arbeitstüchtig und kompetent. Hotelküche sehr fein, vielseitig + professionell angerichtet.
