The Lagalb is an insider tip for skiing and snowboarding, especially when there is fresh snow. The magnificent view of the Italian Alps also invites winter sports enthusiasts to linger. very friendly staff, good and solid food, small but fine wine selection with very moderate prices. for dessert: schümli plümli. one of the best in recent years.

The dishes served are good, everything else doesn't work. The so-called "Bergrestaurant" of Lagab is unfortunately not suitable for people with intolerances and allergies. The staff is not capable of bringing an apple strudel without vanilla sauce, this is today's experience made as a test to find out if the service is still as bad as I remembered. This trend of inattentive staff, in a hurry, who do not pass on all the information, and above all incompetent about the contents of the dishes is a trend that has been reconfirmed for about 5 years.

Magnificent view and lovely interior. Stressed, unpleasant service. The poor rating is due to the great difficulty encountered when dealing with an allergy to dairy products: almost nothing available on the menu. Upon request for only grilled meat with fries, vegetables were added, bathing under a cream béchamel sauce. I had to save the meat before the béchamel got to it, and my husband ate a double portion of vegetables. The meat and fries were delicious.

In case of low wind, one of the best mountain terraces I know.

Has to. Although early August, Saturday, peak hiking season. You get to the top and are happy - and everything is closed, no notice, everything is closed.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and prompt, what more could you want at the end of the season. We'd love to come back!

I loved going to this restaurant with my parents as a child. Back then there was great roast beef with remoulade sauce. I still dream about it today. and this restaurant has always had a reputation for having good food. Now I have returned after 30 years and am extremely disappointed. If this is supposed to be Swiss alpine gastronomy, then goodnight. After we sat down at a table that was full of leftover food from our predecessors, the waitress came and said she would clear it away straight away. After 30 minutes nothing had happened, we just did it ourselves. After 40 minutes we were finally able to place an order. After another 20 minutes the food came. In the meantime, the cutlery and napkins were thrown on the table with the message that we could please distribute them ourselves. The whole ordering process was also incredible. We had to quickly explain what we wanted to order. And when we wanted to order something more - no response. Even later we were never asked if we would like some dessert or coffee. The hash browns with fried eggs were very good. The pork too. Completely oversalt the goulash soup. When we had finished eating and indicated that we wanted to pay, this was finally possible after another 15 minutes. The waitress told us that two people were missing today and that's why everything was going haywire. At the same time, all areas of the restaurant were open. Very unprofessional. Why not just close a zone with 10 or 15 tables on a day like that. And then provide reasonable and professional service. Really very unfortunate.

Unlike many other ski Restaurants with often horrible food at hilarious prices- this place offers very nice traditional local dishes. Nice people that stay cool when it’s hectic during high season. And of course a great view!
