One of the best restaurants in Pontresina. One is very, very good and the ambience with the service is excellent. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

Not just the right thing after a round on the cross-country ski trail. Thanks The salmon poke bowl was SUPER delicious. The ginger and lemongrass tea is a poem and the chestnut cake is a crowning finale. And all of this in the sun on the terrace. I'll definitely come back!

A café that I have visited on every holiday in the Engadine for years. Since it is a cozy place where the price and performance are still right, it is always well staffed. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the selection of food is very diverse. Unfortunately, my filled Silserli was a bit dry, but the content was fine. I always enjoy coming here when the road takes me to Pontresina.

We've only been there for coffee and cake. The friendliest service in a long time :-) Our children were welcomed so lovingly, the restaurant has a play area (but it doesn't bother the other guests without children, as it's on the terrace/in the winter garden) and the selection of cakes is excellent, as is the coffee: -) Immediately again!

Our favourite stop when we go Nordic Skiing around Pontresina, just off the trail near Surovas. Perfect for brekkie, lunch or just a coffee break with nice sandwiches, smoothies, sweets and warm drinks. The sunny terrace or inside is great to stay warm when it's chilly outside.

Near the center of Pontresina, a simple but welcoming place; prices are average in Switzerland but not high. Careful service. Lots of choice on the menu. The very friendly owner made sure we were satisfied. I advise.

The redesign of the BunDi was a great success. With great attention to detail. You immediately feel at home in this restaurant. As a bread and dessert lover, I was also really impressed by the shop with its various delicacies on display. We were there for lunch. Osso bucco with risotto and wild broccoli. A poem! Like at grandma's house. Thai curry is super seasoned and everything is nice and hot. Of course, something sweet from the counter for dessert. The service was very friendly and attentive. The great overall package is worth every franc. Will definitely come back. By the way; An Engadin nut cake from BunDi to take home was a must for me!

At Bun di you can enjoy delicious food, fine cappuccinos in a cozy atmosphere. The Bundi also has a bakery with fine sandwiches and desserts. We go there regularly to buy our bread.

Went to Bund di for tea today... in addition to the delicious tea, we were warmly served in a lovely atmosphere! After taking a look at the menu, we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Fine and beautifully prepared tartare and Angus burger. Very nice French fries were served with it. The barley soup was also tasty. Friendly hosts. You can order by scanning a QR code or during operation. However, ordering online takes a lot longer than if the waitress takes the order. The “Call waitress to table” button doesn’t work either. Otherwise highly recommended restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and fresh food. Parking garage a few steps away or a few parking spaces in front of the house.

We had a wonderful evening at Bun Di Restaurant and would like to share our experience. Donat's excellent service made our visit special. His attentiveness and friendliness rounded off our evening perfectly. The warm hospitality of the owners Karin & Hansueli made us feel welcome and we felt their personal touch in the entire ambience of the restaurant. It's clear that a lot of love and dedication goes into the guest experience here. The food at Bun Di is simply amazing! From the great wild vegetarian version to the special burger to the delicious soup as a starter - every dish was a culinary delight. The menu surprises with a variety and newly invented specialties that positively surprised and convinced our taste buds. The absolute highlight of our evening was the Kaiserschmarren. A culinary masterpiece that even Austrians would love to travel to Pontresina for. The combination of taste and presentation was a real treat that capped off the evening perfectly. Overall, we can only warmly recommend the Bun Di restaurant. It is not only a place for excellent food, but also for warm hospitality and first-class service. We would love to come back and look forward to further culinary discoveries!

Probably the best Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte I’ve ever had. Very friendly service. Hirschpfeffer was average. Lovely kids corner. I can surely recommend this place. They handed out little gifts to our toddler when we left such as jumping balls, balloons or stamps.

We have had very tasty breakfasts there several times!

In the summer we had to wait quite a long time for someone to take the order, even though the 'Bun Di' didn't have many guests. We placed this with the owners. I was there again last week and was served quickly and friendly. The food tasted excellent! In the evening I sat down in one of the cozy mini lounge corners and enjoyed a delicious cup of tea - the Engadin nut cake was very dry. The Silserli the next day was also dry. Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars because the positive outweighs the negatives and it is not a given that you are open to criticism. :)

We ate two very good sandwiches. Prices a little high but average in the area. Super service.. Very welcoming and make you feel at home

This evening we had venison pepper and venison schnitzel. Both were excellent. The service was also excellent.

We were here for coffee and cake for the second time in a week. The first time we were not impressed with the quality of the cakes. We had to wait too long for the drinks we ordered. Because of this first impression, we didn't want to come here again. Due to a lack of alternatives, we gave Bundi a second chance. On the second visit we were more impressed with the cakes and the service was faster overall.

In addition to its great culinary offerings, the Café BUN DI also impresses with its children's play area in the winter garden. Ideal for families with small children to spend time in a relaxed atmosphere. The hosts and the team are very friendly and accommodating. At the end there is a small gift waiting for the little ones. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

Excellent food (ordered pumpkin soup, a curry bowl & mushroom ravioli) and service was personable & efficient. Great space for a meal either indoors or out. Wine list was good. Bakery items looked very appealing.

I was here for dinner. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was great! I can especially recommend the Bun Di salad. There are good vegetarian and vegan dishes, which is not a given, especially outside of Swiss cities. But there still has to be a criticism. I was here in the morning the same day to buy a sandwich at the counter... Unfortunately there wasn't a single vegan option. So there is still potential at this point.

Enjoyed my lunch very much, the Lachs Poke Bowl. Unique and satisfying, creative and not the same thing served everywhere. Nice to find variety! Interesting how you can order at the counter, via the QR code on the table, or with the server. Hope we have time to stop by again this week!

We can highly recommend Bun Di to everyone. The ambience is very inviting and decorated with attention to detail. The food is excellent, you can tell the quality, especially with the meat. Our favorite: The Wienerschnitzel! But the burger is also super tasty! The staff is very friendly and personable, and you feel noticed and valued. You're not just a number, because the employees always take the time to exchange a few words with you, which massively increases your sense of well-being. The bosses are also very friendly and take it to heart that guests feel completely at home. When we are in the Engadin, Bun Di is one of our favorite places to eat, drink a coffee and have a relaxing time. Thanks to the whole Bun Di team. Stay as you are :-)

Fine breakfast for a successful start to the day, delicious sandwiches for our bike and hiking tours, fine dinner to end the day on an enjoyable note (and beautiful cakes as a souvenir for those staying at home). A very cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant, the two homemade iced teas are very fine and beautifully decorated. The varied sandwiches, soups, cakes and patisserie are a wonderful reward after shorter and longer hikes. We'll be back☺️.

During our stay in Pontresina we visited several times this lovely cafe&restaurant. Their selection of cakes and pastery is amazing and for dinner I had delicious thay curry (vegan). Service was very friendly and competent. I recommend a visit to Bun Di!

Way too expensive! I bought a sandwich this morning. There was no price on it but I needed one and I was expecting to pay CHF 5-6 because it was small. But once I was given my sandwich, I was asked to pay CHF 12,80! CHF 12,80 for a small sandwich! I know everything is expensive in Switzerland but they're going way too far. I feel I've been robbed!

We wanted to have a nice but casual meal with good friends and try something new. So we decided on Bun Di Puntraschigna, which opened in December 2022 but we didn't know yet. We haven't regretted the choice for a second. The Thai-style beef skewer with crispy vegetables and rice as well as the thinly sliced ​​pieces of boiled beef with vegetables were excellent. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal and of good quality. Everything is lovingly prepared. The price-performance ratio is right, and there are new menus every day for an affordable price. We also liked the wine and beer selection. There are also plus points for the friendly and competent staff as well as for the seasonal decoration, which creates a harmonious ambience. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Bun Di Puntraschigna restaurant. --
