The atmosphere is excellent. High prices.

Saas Fee sun room In the middle of the mountains. The price-performance ratio is right at this level..very well-positioned chef at serving food like the rest of the staff..the only thing that isn't so good is that there are skiers who reserve the benches on the wall for each other for up to 2 hours!!!! Kind regards, RB and girlfriend have been regular customers for 20 years.

The food gets worse every year. Compared to the other mountain restaurants in Saas-Fee, the price-performance ratio here is very poor. If you don't absolutely have to go, then absolutely no recommendation.

More Cordon Bleu, what else? Pricey, increased 3rd time in a row!

I think it's a shame that you can't have 1/2 menu 👎😥 my plate always goes back with 1/2 of the food 👎👎.

For a self-service restaurant you can find everything you can think of here. Friendly staff! For a ski area and tourist resort, the prices are also at a fair level when you consider all the transport and effort. Fine food and the entire buffet is very nicely presented. You can eat whatever you're hungry for and the salad buffet is huge and fresh. The cream slice is absolutely AWESOME and has to be tried! We'd love to come back!! The Cordon bleu is a little insider tip, one of the best!

Below average ski restaurant. They have very basic (overpriced) fast food like sausage and French fries. Great selection of vegetables (hot and cold). Decent bar. Huge cake selection. Avoid this place, there are several better options in Saas-Fee.

Amazing buffet! With marinated fish, Bellevue salmon, various vegetables in very fresh and tasty salads, in short a nice taste surprise at altitude and for a self! A beautiful plate for around 18 francs...cheaper than fried sausage!

Deplorable staff (it must be new) we just wanted two cups to put our tea in the picnic room The charming lady literally snatched the cups from our hands and said something in an incomprehensible language Thank you to the management for reviewing the commitment of certain people THANKS

Great selection of food! You can season everything very well because the selection of spices is right at the serving counter. As well as at the salad buffet! There is something for everyone there and the selection of oils is gigantic. Prices are in the green Especially since you shouldn't underestimate how all the products are transported upwards. Everything very clean and well-kept. Although it is a self-service restaurant, the team is well organized, helpful and friendly. The picnic room is also a great idea. Families who are not financially well-off can take care of themselves there. 💪💪💪

Self-service restaurant in the ski area

The 'big restaurant' in the area, the salad bar was great, friendly service and good place for a lunch break. In my opinion not too pricy, but what you can expect in the area.

This restaurant is just very, very accomplished👍 The dishes are weighed, so no waste. The products are fresh, well cooked and extremely different depending on everyone's tastes, hot, cold, salty, sweet, fish, meat, soups, desserts.... The seats are very comfortable, the ski accessories have their places next to us, the bay windows on the slopes are huge, the ski parking is very practical. A beautiful stop 💖✨

There is no Rivella here, really now?!? The kitchen staff also uses the public toilet. Extremely hygienically questionable and therefore prohibited by law.

From cozy to cafeteria-like overcrowded, you can experience everything here. But the wood and the large windows give the restaurant an inviting character. Large terrace, which is usually wind-free when the weather is nice. The food is very fine for a ski restaurant, especially a clearly different selection than in most other self-service mountain restaurants. The buffets offer a lot of choice, there really is something for everyone. Rarely have I encountered so many different things in a ski restaurant. The overall organization was also very good, the staff were friendly, occasionally very friendly. Good value for money, considering that everything has to be shoveled up to 2500 m above sea level. Please always note when critics say it is expensive.

A generous range of dishes for a fair price

Too expensive for the quality offered. Picnic room crowded in high season. Endless wait to access the ladies toilets and yet there would be toilets in the basement... but they are permanently closed ☹️ Are they too lazy to clean them 🤔

Basically good food & good selection, staff very nice, can do something quick even after the kitchen is open (bratwurst & fries), but the whole thing is quite expensive. Min. Allow 30-40 per person for... well... a few fries and a bratwurst

Fantastic buffet, never seen better food on any Swiss slopes.

I have rarely eaten so well in a self-service restaurant. The fries were crispy and very seasoned. The various buffets were great and of really good quality and the staff is friendly. Beaming faces everywhere. A relaxed atmosphere, that's exactly how it should be - we were absolutely thrilled!

On the slope so expect to pay $$$$'s. When they can charge CHF 3.00 / €3.20 to refill a re-usable water bottle it gives an idea how the rest of the prices are... But that said - u go there for the views and convenience.

Beautiful, contemporary restaurant with a large sun terrace. Staff is nice and helpful. Unfortunately, food is a bit expensive and not suitable if you have to feed a whole family. But it tastes good and is quick. Unfortunately, the pizza from before is no longer available.

Sorry, there is only 1 ⭐️, sweet drinks 5dl in the pet 6.50 Fr.!!! You're serious, it's almost cheeky, the beer in the bottle costs exactly the same. I think 5.- Fr. would be a fair price and still more than enough.

We like to eat in this restaurant because of the diversity of the offer: the buffet with a lot of diversity: salad, Asian, Italian. There are also various menus which remain affordable. Without forgetting the excellent desserts

Mass processing/self-service restaurant with still quite tasty food. Prices are quite high, but that's not surprising for a restaurant in a ski resort like SaasFee.

Small Asian buffet with little choice for vegetarians/vegans. Bland pasta dish with lean vegetables. At 11:30 a.m. the food was already only lukewarm. A friendly assistant cook warmed my food. Delicious rolls.

Large selection, efficient self-service

Industrial restaurant with big food at inflated prices and very limited supply. Unfortunately almost inevitable.

Very large seating area inside and out. Good range of food available at the canteen. At the time there was hot swiss food, hot Asian food, and then a selection of cold fish and salad dishes. Watch out for the food by weight option the cost can really creep up on you, and the food is heavier then it looks.

Only the view is recommended, In recent years there has been a price increase for various species. Last time in the Asiacorner it was 20.- for a wok dish, now that everything is on the scale, I already paid 36.- for fried rice with pork sweet sour. In addition, the vegetable pieces are very large, with pepperoni this can still work, but if they are onions that are 2x2x3cm, no go. Even with the spaghetti bolo, a ready-made sauce from the supermarket would have had more taste. 3dl open beer also 50% more expensive… Staff walking around in dirty clothes in the guest area is an absolute no-go.

Unfortunately no longer recommended. Unfortunately, the service has steadily declined over the last few years and at the same time has become more and more expensive. Tiny portion of fries without ketchup or mayo 8 CHF… sauces for 1 CHF each extra. When it's nice you can still sit in the sun, but unfortunately you're no longer good for a real break.

A superb place to stop and take the time to stroll in a dream setting

Great view, varied food offering, large room and large terrace. Evaluated on these criteria, the restaurant would have had 5 stars. In short, the offer. But the prices are too high for self-service (even in Switzerland). Above all, we need to lower the price of drinks. 8.- beer out of the fridge. From theft. 6.50 a bottled or opened coke also too expensive.

This food is way too expensive, filling up with my Opel Corsa is cheaper, my Beliner doesn't even fill up! What's that?

Unfortunately, extremely unfriendly staff and even worse: all the glasses in the self-service are dirty! Unfortunately, on the following 3 days all the glasses were still dirty, even though I pointed this out every time.

Fast, efficient, quite expensive

Skiing day trip to Saas-Fee. Had lunch in the Morenia restaurant. A very large restaurant, self-service. Food standard, we had 2 soups (CHF 9.90 each), which were ok. The prices for self-service are on the higher side. The tables could be cleaner, but this is probably not possible when changing guests. Recommended for a quick and undemanding lunch.

Because of it's central location it's extremely busy when lunchtime. Food is mass cooked and processed. Oh yes.. don't forget. I think they don't like picnic.

The restaurant next to the cable car station is large and the service is attentive. Tired and hungry from skiing or sightseeing, here is a great choice. Sitting at the table outside the restaurant and watching the snowy scenery while eating is a great way to relax!

Nice big picnic room downstairs with free WiFi. Often a queue for the toilets but there are lots so it does move quickly. A great meeting point on the slopes, and the kids enjoyed playing outside whilst parents enjoyed a more leisurely lunchtime!

Surprised by the good quality of the buffets and the excellence

Super Staff...super Location...super Price😍 Always liked to stay and eat here with my ladies and ski tour guests🏂⛷ from all over world and eat from the BIG BUFFET: Liked special the Beef Tartare and Salmon Fish as well the salads with about 10 different virgin oels and vinigar. I poured 2x expresso + extra hot water to fill in the cup, and the cashier counted it as 3x coffee which was around 13 CHF. For coffee. Ridiculous.

The food is of good quality. Mass processing. The staff is friendly. The prices are exorbitant, especially for drinks. CHF 6.50 for a 5dl pet bottle. Same price by the glass.

Good self-service restaurant with the option to enjoy a picnic in a room downstairs. Excellent if you are traveling with the family. So you can combine both. I think it's great service. I'll definitely be happy to come back. Food is also good and fair prices for mountain railways.

Huge canteen restaurant at the top of the first gondola. Prices are agreed with those of resort restaurants. But so big and great terrace in the sun. Ideal for a break before going back to ski at 3500m

A restaurant directly in the ski area. Prices have become a bit steep. (It wasn't cheap beforehand)... Shortly before noon all the seats were already occupied.

For a ski restaurant at 2000 m altitude, very well organized, clean, fresh and fine. Great views as the icing on the cake.

Expensive and mediocre cuisine: try the fried nuggets at 21 balls.... A horror. Instead, go to the other small restaurants on the slopes, for the same price you will get much better!

Food is expensive and not the best. But the view is fantastic

There's a lot to choose from but as a veggie soup lover, I didn't like the one there. The slice of cheese I cut off to accompany my soup was hard - it must have been standing there a while. Also, there is no tap water and you have to buy it in a plastic bottle.

Large room, refectory type, but surprisingly not too noisy (all tables were taken). In short, to warm up, have a coffee or something else, it's very good.

In front of the slopes, as soon as you get off the first gondola. Spacious restaurant. Buffet style service. Warm. They only sell food and drinks, but they have a cigarette machine. The toilets were very clean and quite large. In front of the restaurant there is an area to leave your equipment organized and be able to access the restaurant without skis. There are also wooden benches outside to rest for a while and have a beer. For being in the middle of nowhere, the restaurant is really good. And above all clean 👍
